I have fine dry hair (it was bleached about three years ago but that's it). It seems like no matter what heat protectant/dry hair/damaged hair product I use, my hair turns to straw if I blow dry it and/or flat iron it. I have tried air drying it, and while it's a little better, it still looks super dry afterwards. My hair is naturally wavy, and I like it straight and sleek, but it never turns out that way....always parched and dull. What am I doing wrong? 😞

@LilBitObsessed your hair might be a bit dry until it grows out unfortunately which can take a bit. I've bleached my dark hair to a white a couple times and here are a couple things that have made a difference for me - one big difference I have really thick hair

<LI-PRODUCT title="Olaplex Olaplex Hair Perfector No. 3" id="P435618_2121531"></LI-PRODUCT>

<LI-PRODUCT title="Olaplex No. 0 Intensive Bond Building Hair Treatment Kit" id="P461955_2383107"></LI-PRODUCT> <-- I'm still testing this only tried it once and it was nice but I'm not sure if thats just my normal no.3 coming into effect after lol

<LI-PRODUCT title="Briogeo Don't Despair, Repair!™ Deep Conditioning Hair Mask 8 oz/ 237 mL" id="P388628_1784636"></LI-PRODUCT>

<LI-PRODUCT title="Verb Hydrating Hair Treatment Mask" id="P406901_1808955"></LI-PRODUCT>

I also use a hair oil which I think if you have fine hair will weigh it down so maybe not the best bet

The Briogeo stuff didn't do anything, but that Olaplex #3 was really awesome. Thanks! 🙂

Shampoo & Condition: Currently using either Marajo Nourishing Creme and deep treatment butter, or Bumble & Bumble hairdresser's invisible oil.

Heat protectant prior to blowdry/straightening: I've been using Kerastase Resistance Thermique or BB Glow Bond Building Styler

I have used a mask instead of conditioner in the past but sometimes with my fine hair it gets oily.

You only need a little bit of both. I usually add the oil to the cream and run that through the middle and ends of my hair. I’ve recently started trying out the <LI-PRODUCT title="Fable & Mane HoliRoots™ Pre-wash Hair Treatment Oil" id="P456953_2350973"></LI-PRODUCT> . I’ve only used it once but I saturated my hair with it, left it in overnight, and in the morning after I washed it it was really soft. I’ve washed my hair twice since and I still feel like it’s softer than it was before I used it.
