A hair product with tea tree oil may help. I like Earth's Nectar jojoba tea tree scalp oil.

Definitely use a clarifying shampoo with tea tree as suggested and/or a apple cider vinegar rinse when you shower.

The only thing that's worked so far for me, is doing a scalp scrub. Tea tree helps a little bit, but it doesn't make it go away. Even with all of that, mine are still there. So I'd also love to hear new solutions.

Do you use a new conditioner or hair product to moisturize your hair? I'd stop using it if that's the case. It may be too rich and it's blocking your hair follicles? You may want to do a scalp rinse 1x/week. There are several recipes. You can make a paste with baking soda/your regular shampoo and tee tree oil or sea salt granules with lemon and olive oil to exfoliate and clean any blocked hair follicles I'm sure there are many recipes on Pinterest! Good luck!
