Ombre Leather on Women

Hi, I’m a woman in her 20s and I’m absolutely in love with #. My boyfriend used to wear it and it was more leathery on him but I feel like it’s sweeter on me. Is it good on women too? Will it be repulsive to men?

@zeyoz @You have good taste 😘 I think TF Ombré Leather is excellent. It is unisex. If you love it, wear it. There is no rule on perfume in my opinion because perfume reacts differently on different people. Back in the day when it was first come out it was in private line which is much more expensive. Now they bring it back but in much much affordable and the scent still as good as the original limited edition

Hi @zeyoz ! If you love how Ombré Leather smells on you, then you should absolutely wear it. Doesn’t matter if other people claim that fragrance is “only for men”—a claim I think is ridiculous, but that’s just me. I mean, I’m not into the whole masculine vs. feminine fragrance distinction. Wear whatever fragrance you like. 👍

Also, remember that any fragrance can be repulsive to anyone, male or female. I’m a woman who kinda hates baby powder scents, and that’s one of the fragrance notes often called “feminine.” I also can’t handle sharp white floral scents because they trigger my migraines. Some men hate aquatic “masculine” fragrances, whether they’re worn by men or women.

So instead, I’ll say be more mindful of overspraying that Tom Ford fragrance. Overspraying anything can be very off-putting to everyone around you (especially those of us prone to migraines). My favorite leathery smoky incense fragrance is Papillon Anubis, and I’m always careful not to overspray it because it has a funky jasmine note that can really knock innocent bystanders down if over-applied. 😅

Thank you so much! Totally agree with not overspraying, I even dislike Ombre Leather when somebody does that.

I haate baby powdery scents too so I will check out Papillon Anubis (:
