Citrusy fragrance that doesn’t attract mosquitoes?

Hi,

I am traveling to India and everyone is warning me of mosquitoes. I usually wear Chanel no 5 but I read that mosquitos love it, and that fragrances with citrus and lavender tones are less likely to attract mosquitoes.

What are your recommendations for citrusy perfumes?

The first thing that comes to mind is Light Blue by Dolce & Gabbana.

@MarwaMo can't help with perfume, but maybe try adding a mosquito repellent wristband to your shopping list before you go?

Definitely, that’s the plan. I just don’t want to smell like mosquito repellent but also don’t want use a perfume that would counteract the repellent. I read that citrus and lavender would be my best bet.

@MarwaMo I recommend It has a nice lemony scent. I live in Florida where the mosquitos will eat you alive if you wear the wrong stuff or leave your skin exposed. I haven't had a problem with mosquitos being attracted to me while wearing this scent. Good luck with your search and enjoy your trip!

@MarwaMo You could try . It has Cedarwood and cinnamon which repel mosquitoes. I don’t know if it’s a very summery fragrance but it’s an option. You could also just buy some essential oils and make a blend to wear on your pulse points during your trip.
