Hey y'all! I'm thinking of buying a rollerball perfume that has a fresh smell to it, is long lasting, and isn't too strong in terms of the scent (I'm sensitive to strong smells). I prefer if it's under $40 and I'm 17 if it helps.

My favourite is Sugar Lychee. They're not the longest lasting, but the beauty of a rollerball is you can take it with you.

The Atelier Colognes fragrances are fresh and citrusy and do not last that long. You could also try Etat Libre's You or Someone Like You which has a fresh, minty opening. Both have rollerballs in your price range at Sephora.

My initial thought is that Clementine California might be a good fit for you. Sephora offers two different roller ball perfume samplers-search `Sephora Favorites. I think they retail for around 28 dollars. You'll get a few samples-6 or so- and a certificate for the full sized roller of your choice. It's a fun way to see which scent works for you.

Sample the crap out of everything! I shop for perfume 'reality tv style'- spray paper 25 or so kinds and then ask for free samples of my favorite 5 and come in and buy a rollerball of the winner. I only buy a full bottle if I use up the whole rollerball before it expires. Sephora's free sample program is excellent. Take advantage of it. It's also worth setting up an appointment for the Fragrance Finder. It's free with a@$50 purchase and that's just two rollerballs.
