Damaged Relaxed Hair

Hey guys! I recently cut, bleached, colored and stripped my hair while following with a recolor and relaxer. All within 2 weeks, I know it sounds crazy but I tend to do this very often and when my hair gets too bad I shave it all off and regrow. My hair grows extremely fast and in a year and a half it’ll be back down my back but I’m not looking forward to another big chop. I’m wondering if there’s any hair products that would help bring my tight curls back or something close to how my hair was.

If you're thinking about a treatment, I love olaplex for my curls. Also love the kerastase serum. Styling products are a totally different game!!

<LI-PRODUCT title="OLAPLEX - Olaplex Hair Perfector No. 3" id="P428224_2347144"></LI-PRODUCT>

<LI-PRODUCT title="KéRASTASE - Nutritive 8H Magic Night Serum" id="P446338_2201002"></LI-PRODUCT>

Also honorable mention for some new brands we just launched this year that specialize in nourishment and repair. I have not tried yet, but just ordered the mousse from mizani.

There is noting you can do to bring your curls back after relaxing it. You will just have to chop it off and start over.

@NiseMarie

No. The answer is NO. You cannot reverse a relaxer especially if it was LYE based which I’m going to assume it was. That was an incredible amount of damage to do to your hair in a very short period of time, frankly I’m surprised your hair didn’t melt off.
