The Ordinary foundation + Colour IQ match

Hello!

I have a bottle of the serum foundation from The Ordinary in shade 1.2N.

Does anyone know the Colour IQ counterpart to this? When I looked for a comparable one to match me, The Ordinary was not on the list. (Meanwhile, I have an old number in there that I can't overwrite but can add to.)

I’m not sure. I’m annoyed with this feature right now too because we can’t colourmatch in store and the foundation shade I have that matches perfectly doesn’t show up when I select the brand and type. There have been several foundations I have wanted to try but don’t because I’m hearing horror stories of people making a few returns and then being banned from online shopping or returning anything.

The Ordinary foundation is exclusive to Ulta, so it (kind of) makes sense it's not on the Sephora list. I'm bummed Ulta doesn't seem to have The Ordinary included in its shade finder either though.

I actually got mine in Canada and I know Sephora carries some of the skincare line. I was very, very lucky to get the right shade the first time.

Yesterday I went into my local Sephora store and a rep attempted to match me with some undereye concealer (pretty much the only part of my face anyone sees!). I haven’t tried it yet, but I am hoping it is a good fit because I returned one that was completely off. Website swatches can be or hit or miss. When I asked for a new color IQ she told me they don’t even have the tech anymore.
