All Day Primer & Foundation Recommendations

open to all/any recommendations for reasonably priced primer + foundation that will not separate and last most of the day at conferences! I was mortified last week after running around all day at a work conference and finally looked in a mirror at 5pm to find out my entire face was separating! This was while using CoverFX’s Power Play liquid foundation. Thank you in advance, Queens!✨

Hii! I had success with Tatcha primer underneath and mixing elf power grip into my foundation formula. I used this to go to Hawaii and it looked good. I followed this post to get good tips! Thanks!

A good setting spray and setting powder combo can also help set your face to get it through the work day!

if you really love your foundation I recommend trying out new setting sprays and powders before you ditch it.

I know the feeling! I work in a greenhouse setting that gets super hot in the summer and have had lots of trial and error of getting makeup to stay put! I’m naturally a bit oily too so things don’t like to wear well all day on my faces

some that have worked for me…

# (this is the softer silicone type, pore filling, but not too silicone-y because that’s not my jam)

elf power grip (I like the blue one) I actually like this better than the Milk one.

sometimes I will even do both, starting with the caliray to smooth pores and then elf for a sticky grip.

for foundation check out the or the matte one. *this isn’t reasonably priced but worth it in my opinion*
I also just picked up the for lighter coverage and it has looked good all day so far.
I haven’t had luck with much else to be honest…

A good setting powder I like or the Melt cosmetics one.
followed by a heavy hand of setting spray. I’ve been loving the but also like the OG which when I just did this tag realized there’s a waterproof one!?
