RANDOM THOUGHTS : BEAUTY (PART DEUX)

welcome back to the junk drawer of random beauty thoughts and musings. it has been nearly a year, so i think it is time for a rew RT thread !

when i'm doing my makeup in the morning, my dog sometimes throws a fit until i move his food bowl over to where i'm sitting. i'm certainly not the diva in our relationship.

Can I just say I love the opening of this thread? Your dog sounds amazing 😄

My bunny has a habbit of nuzzling my feet when I'm doing my makeup. He will sit under my chair or climb up on the bookshelf next to me.

Why does every review talk about how good the Juicy Shakers smell? I have "Mint to Be," "Piece of Cake," and "Good Kara-mel." They all smell very artificial with an underlying chemical scent, very disappointing. Maybe other scents smell better.

I do love how they feel, they're actually a very good combination of oils for my lips, and the tint is buildable in layers. I actually really like "Piece of Cake" as a pouty nude on my pigmented lips. I didn't think it'd show up on me at all, after all the reviews and swatches.

Hmmm I bought Melimelon bc I heard that one smells like watermelon jolly ranchers. I should get it soon & update!

You weren't impressed with Mint to Be? I'm really curious about that one too.

I want to but I'm a little tired of LE/limited quality craziness. My heart still hasn't recovered from the Pat McGrath debacle. I keep telling myself I won't wear a rainbow highlighter.

My inner unicorn strongly disagrees.

I was offline for the whole debacle and the aftermath.

I did fall into the Sweet Peach craze /.\

Im not sure if this is LE but since there's a ton of hype about it I'm sure it will sell out fairly quickly. It might be like the Morphe 35O palette where its permanent but always sold out.

My googling turned up an article about this in Teen Vogue (baha, but a better source than unconfirmed blogs probably) about this. She makes them BY HAND herself (she used to be on Etsy), and it takes 12 hours to make 100 pans. This release will have 500 pans.

Sooo yeah, "extremely limited quantities," no joke.

I think it's just like the 35O, good example! I think she's said it's not LE but like Jaza said, it takes forever to make. I would love to get one but it's so stressful! I can wait but good luck! I'll send you good makeup vibes 🙂

Congrats! I think I missed it... The product page still has the "add to cart" button up, but when you try to check out it says it's OOS. 😞

Oh well. I don't need a rainbow highlighter, and I definitely don't need to spend anymore money.

OMG that was fast... it does say OOS when you checkout.

It will come back in stock. It's an item she'll keep making so it will come back along with her other colors... I should have waited because there's a few more colors I want... oh well.

yeah I just saw that 😞 well it will come back... maybe next week? I follow her on FB so she posts about restocks. She's only one girl and has more than 20K followers on Etsy.
