Ebates/Rakuten Redemption for Gift Cards

I've been using Ebates/Rakuten and love it. The last time I cashed out, I got a gift card for Sephora and a 15% bonus on that since I was taking the gift card and not cash. I think that was while it was still Ebates. I have been searching the Rakuten site and app like crazy and can't find this option anywhere. Is it gone?

@sprocketta That option is not available through the website. Ebates/Rakuten sends an email before the official payout date to provide that offer. Also, you don't receive that option during every payout period.

Thanks for the info @sephoraaddict918 I'll try the PayPal option. PMG takes PayPal on their direct and I'm dying for the Ritualistic Rose holiday quad. It's sold out but i can justify buying it now since I can use the Ebates money.

@sprocketta I love that gift card option!

I usually get the GC for Ulta, but decided to get one for PetCo recently. We ended up not having an occasion to use it as quickly as I thought. But then we adopted a cat...I gave my husband strict instructions not to put it toward that adoption fee, though. I didn't want to be identified using a GC (aka coupon) on a cat!

@sprocketta I was able to redeem an Ulta GC for my cash back in August, after they had officially become Rakuten. The website says the next payout is scheduled for 11/15/19 (assuming you have a high enough balance to redeem) so if things go like they did last quarter, you should get an email with your balance on at the start of November and hopefully there will be an option to redeem as a GC.

@sprocketta I think he's really settling in. He's been sitting with me regularly, which I adore. And he and my other cat are getting into a routine of playing. I'm really thankful that it's gone so well. If only he'd sleep on the bed - I find that so comforting 🙂

Ooh, I forgot to mention, that if I recall correctly, there was an option to redeem for a Sephora GC, but the cash back boost wasn't as high, maybe like 10-12% instead of 15%. @sprocketta
