Can't Download App?

I keep getting prompts on Sephora's website to download their app for easier use and exclusives. But when I go to download it, it keeps telling me it is not compatible with my phone. My phone is only a couple years old and it is a major brand (Motorola). Is there another version of the app I should be looking for? I'd like the exclusives offered through the app.

@JennRen44 When an app doesn't show up in the app store, your phone's operating system is too old to run the app. It's not related to the phone brand. Sephora must not have put in backwards compatibility for older OS to run it. There aren't older versions that will run.

Edit, instead of using Sephora.com to download the app, check your app store directly.

Thank you for the reply! It's really surprising to me that my operating system would be considered "too old". This is the first app I haven't been able to download. My phone isn't that old and everything else works fine on it, so this is disappointing. 😔

Another thought, check that the play store is updated iitself. Within the play store, menu ->settings->tap play store version

Also go through phone settings ->applications and clear cache on the play store, reboot and try sephora again.
