Monthly Faves: June 2024!

Happy Summer, BIC! I know I’ve been ready for it, and I’m eager to embrace the sunshine with low-maintenance hairstyles, cool down with some self-care, and streamline my makeup routine for a look that’s juuust dewy enough -- only in the places where I want to be. 😅 Some of these picks were even inspired by my fellow Community members, but then again, that’s nothing new! BIC knows best. 😇

Here are my June Favourites

#The INKEY List Caffeine De-puffing + Dark Circle Eye Cream 0.5 oz/ 15 mL - I am all for depuffing products lately

- I have been loving a tinted balm with a lip liner for a healthy glow look

(30 mL) - Nice summery scent

- Been loving the flushed glow this gives. It is easy to blend

has been a great product to look sunkissed with a tinted moisturizer. I like to wear light weight makeup in the summer

TSC Caffinated SPF - This works well under makeup and has a bit of a tint to it

Some tried-and-true and a couple new-to-me beauties make up my favorites this month.

Diptyque Ilio is a clean, light, fresh fruity floral mix - a nice, bright, summer scent.

I love the silky, balmy texture of the - it allows the product to glide beautifully and blend easily onto the skin. Beautiful as a bronzer and contour depending on the shade, as well as an all over wash of warmth and glow on the face. I've picked up a couple of different shades since receiving the Medium shade as part of a gratis package (thank you, @TeamBIC!) a couple of years ago.

is and has been my favorite skin tint for a while and makes a monthly favorites list every year. A definite Greatest Of All Time (GOAT) 🐐 product in the skin tint category - it evens tones and adds a healthy glow to my complexion.

leaves a beautiful glassy, dewy shine, and pop of color on cheek and lips. I’m considering picking up the Pomelo shade @AlexBT. I mean, just one more blush couldn’t hurt, right?! 😂

has a subtle and lovely vanilla scent, and going into the summer, I like that it contains SPF.

has been a great midday refresher and hydrator for me. There are pros to sitting under an HVAC vent - Pro - I stay cool (or warm), as needed depending on the weather. Con - my already dehydrated and normal-to-dry skin can get even more dehydrated and dry (with dry patches) with the cool air this time of the year, particularly in that space between my eyes. It's been handy to have this balm stick to apply to that area (and others) to rehydrate and refresh during the day.

- I have one of these almost everywhere I spend any amount of time - in the car, in various rooms of the house, at my work desk, in my purse, etc. - and in a variety of flavors. I think by now I have tried almost every scent the brand has produced, except the lemon-lime scent, which is the one next to the candle holder.

@Mellmars1185, I picked up samples of the Makeup By Mario bronzing serum in a few shades and am excited to play with them. That GXVE shade looks great for summer - such a vibrant and cheerful pop of pink! 😍

@itsfi Beautiful photo and your favourites sound amazing. I love the glasses on your plant 🪴. Too cute! One day I will need to try the Tower 28 tinted SPF. I have heard so many great things. The Touchland Sanitizers you picked looo very tropical. The Haus Labs blush sounds like one I would want to try. Enjoy !

Thank you @Mellmars1185! I'll be looking through some of your posts for tips and tricks on application. Curious to know how it compare to Drunk Elephant D-Bronzi for you. Is it a replacement for the DE?

Thank you @Mellmars1185! I picked up the plant from Trader Joe's. 🤓 Let's keep our fingers crossed 🤞 that I can keep the plant alive and well. I love skin tints year round and am always up for trying new ones, but the Tower 28 SunnyDays is one I keep going back to, time and time again.

The Touchland scents in the photo are and Lemon-Lime (I can't seem to find that one to tag...) Do you have a favorite Touchland scent?

The Cryo mask from Clarins is sooo good! I love the effect it leaves behind on my skin after I use it. It's like my skin is refreshed and has a radiant glow after. 👌 Results we can see feel the best, don't they? 😉💞

Oooh those cute BIC clips have been appearing around the threads. I wonder if one day they may make thier way to the Canadian Rewards Bazaar? 😉🤞

@Mellmars1185 - I like to use the applicator. I scrape the tip off on the opening of the jar, dot the bronzer on my cheek, then use a brush to blend. I only need a small amount to get the color I like. 🤎🤎🤎
