Monthly Favorites: October 2023 Edition!

Boo! 👻🎃 It’s spooky how quickly October is flying by, BIC. I’m curious what new products all of you have been trying this season – personally, I feel like this time of year is one of the most exciting when it comes to beauty releases (holiday kits, anyone?)! I’ve been picking up a couple things I see trending at Sephora here and there, while also shopping my own stash and checking off my “been meaning to try this!” list.

I can't believe it's that time already! Wow. I've been so focused on updating my wardrobe after the pandemic that I've neglected my beauty interests. I've been liking ColourPop's Liquid Liner Pen Numero Uno for connecting my stamped wings to my lashline liner.

@SportyGirly125 The Patrick Ta palette is so stunning - one of my favorite brands recently! I got my hands on recently and it's one of the most tingly lip products I've tried in a while (which I love)!

@CorgiMommy My boyfriend's skin gets fairly dry and he's been loving it! I really like how creamy annd moisturizing it feels without being greasy.

Hahaha I think I was in a similar boat as you, focused on updating my wardrobe a couple years back @greeneyedgirl107! 😅 I think I took a pause in my makeup interests to really take care of my hair, too.

Oooh I haven't tried any Paula's Choice other than @lmaster! I bet they make a good anti-acne cleanser; the exfoliant has been really effective for me and others I've recommended it to!

This month I have been reaching for:

(thank you @itsfi ). This is such a freah scent and it brings back memories from Sephoria. It doesn't leave my hands feeling sticky or dry. Just clean.

has become a staple in my routine lately. It blends really well. I find this is a great palette to mix with a lot of the palettes I already own aswell.

- I have been using this as an eyeshadow base. It blends out evenly and eyeshadow lays nicely on top of it.

Juice Beauty Apple Cleanser - I beleive I received this a long time ago from Sephora using a promo code. This cleanser leaves my skin feeling clean and I also enjoy the scent.

- This oil has been auch a treat. I usually massage this into my scalp on wash day (or the night before). This was a repurchase for me.

(mini) - I use this nightly before bed. I purchased either last year or the year before and I can't beleive how long it lasted.

@CynthieLu yes! I'm hoping to snag it. I tried it on a second time in store and had better success with it. I think it went OOS the last sale, so we'll see. Spoiler alert that I am waiting for to arrive. I wanted the GWP, so I paid full price. I totally need to get the Amazon one you recommended, too. Was it Flick?

@CynthieLu Have you used a scalp oil ? I have a few in my stash, but I keep going back to this one. I also like it smells amazing.
