Monthly Favorites - April 2022

April - what a whirlwind month! It really whizzed by, didn’t it? I hope you at least got the chance to stop, shop, swatch, and shower yourself with goodies from this month’s epic Spring Savings Event. (And if not, that’s okay – maybe you’re out here trying to save, and we admire your strength). So whether you splurged on some beauty newness, or saved by dipping into your existing beauty stash, let’s talk about those April favorites!

@SportyGirly125 😱😱 I can’t imagine liking ANYTHING better than Supergoop! Do you use it as a primer as well? Or are you using something separate?

@alexasteph @I use as my primer. I use the Laneige sunscreen on days I don’t wear makeup and the one day a week that I do. I rarely reach for Supergoop now.

@SportyGirly125 Aaah yes I do seem to remember you really like the YSL primer. That’s a nice one! It’s been a long time since I’ve used it, but it’s lovely.

April Favorites💗🌷

has beautiful medium coverage.

is my new favorite powder. It looks so good!

has been great and doesn’t feel sticky.

has been fantastic for covering dark circles.

I have been using this as brow powder and it is the perfect blonde shade.

is my favorite lip gloss. I got Glazed and Annie during the sale and I love both shades.

is so fluffy and blends my bronzer perfectly.

I've hit a couple of duds this month sadly, but I found a new HG concealer that I bought from the sale that doesn't irritate my under eyes nor does it cling to dry patches . I also don't experience eczema flare ups nearly as bad after using this vs what I was using so I'm really impressed!

I also am slowly falling in love with . I'm not sure what happened but on my way to an important meeting all of my freshly applied makeup started to pill on my forehead, cheeks, chin, and nose area so I just wiped all of the mess (consisting of foundation, moisturizer, and concealer to name a few) off with my fingers as it was so very noticeable. The end result after stripping away the excess was flawless looking skin that I'm convinced was in large part due to this face oil as it was my first step in prepping my skin for makeup. Sadly I've had makeup pill on me before but never after gently wiping it away has it revealed such a gorgeous outcome. It was like a magic trick and that was the first time I was using the GXVE oil so I'm giving it the credit.

While it's not quite a dupe for my HG Dior LE lippie that I bought a few years back I still love it's such a pretty color and the formula is fantastic!

- laneige lip sleeping mask in vanilla (most used night lip balm)

- carmex 🍒 cherry lip balm (tingling and fruity, I love this one)

- sol de janeiro brazilian kiss lip balm

- guerlain superlips lips hero (the smell is to die for)

- dior lip serum (the smell is awful, but the product itself is lovely)

@Emy10 it should smell like a mixture of mint and vanilla. But mine smells a little chemical, you can smell ethyl alcohol....which is high in the ingredients list. It's a lovely product, it goes on very thin and my lips are very soft when I wear it, but the scent...👎😤

@Anonymous its high on the ingredient list, do you know if thats one of those good alcohols??

I want to try one of the Dior lipglosses some time, but im not sure which one.
