@SportyGirly125 So far, I’ve bought more lipstick than necessary for someone trying to low-buy lipstick this year. 🤦‍♀️ But I did pass on a few things I originally planned to buy:

- finally got to smell it in person yesterday while picking up an order (sprayed a tester on my wrist). I don’t have the original Angels’ Share because it’s too sweet for me, in a cloying way. This Paradis version’s also too sweet, but in a different way: that raspberry note is VERY strong and persistent on my skin, good grief. 😅 Sure, I like raspberries, but that note overpowers nearly every other scent note in this fragrance. Plus, Paradis doesn’t wear very long: 3-4 hours later, I could barely smell it on my wrist. So, that’s $300 I saved myself.

Obligatory disclaimer: other folks may have better luck with that fragrance. It might smell quite different on someone else’s skin. I don’t recommend blind-buying this one though. I even compared it to a tester of (I have a travel size of that one at home and quite enjoy it) and Paradis is much sweeter smelling than Juice—partly because Juice smells (to me) more complex, as in I can actually detect other scent notes in it.

&/or another of the new shades - I’m trying to slow my roll on blushes this year, especially in shades similar to what I already have.

- someone strongly hinted that they’re already buying this as part of a care package for me. 🖤

- buying it direct from Paula’s Choice instead during one of their sales, especially since I can get good GWP there.

- wasn’t on my original savings event list, but curiosity + upcoming travel plans made me swatch-compare it to my trusty . None of the Merit shades within striking distance of my skin tone(s) were workable enough to make me buy one: they were all too yellow-orange toned. 😒 So nope, I’ll just plan to press a slice of my Ami Colé foundation stick into a small pot or pan, or pack the whole stick.

There are a couple things I’m still undecided on, and I forgot to swatch ‘em in-store. We’ll see what happens if/when I visit a different Sephora location in my city.

I bought the lip sleeping mask the first time it was released. It didn't smell like tea or peach (or peach tea). I decided I didn't want to take the chance that it wasn't any better this time.

. I'm looking for a new scalp scrub since both of mine have been discontinued. This was one of two that made the cut. I went with the other one since it was recommended by a Community member and this one is a new release. This will stay on my Loves list for a possible future purchase if the reviews are good.

I really want this blush, and I might still buy it. Otherwise, I simply needed to offload a little more from my cart.

Couple other things I didn’t get:

- I have only one of these (shade LFG), and it was a gift from a friend. I love the formula and performance but still loathe the component/case. So I’ve been waiting for Gucci to release refills without the case since, you know, it’s refillable. Waiting and waiting and waiting. 🙄 I wonder what the holdup is. Also wonder how much WA will charge for a refill. Mostly, I wonder if refills are ever actually coming. I won’t buy another of these lipsticks until I can just get a refill without the obnoxious case.

Sephora Dry Shampoo Brush Cleanser - normally I buy at least one can each savings event, but I’m currently very well stocked up.

I think I'm going to sit this one out. I needed more YTTP mist, but it's been discontinued. I got it at Sephora at Kohl's before the sale; it was on sale anyway. I haven't been in the best mood, so I'm kinda not into shopping right now. Plus, the limited return policies at Sephora and Ulta have me frustrated. So why spend the money? SC lippies are on my radar but there are sales throughout the year on SC.

I didn't get the Sephora Favorites Sun Safety Kit because it hasn't been released. Hope it comes out soon.

I was eyeing the but it was always OOS 😭

Also didn't end up stocking up on my current detox shampoo, which I'm running low on but will probably restock it or try another one soon.

Also was eyeing but ended up holding off - I'm sure it will end up falling into my cart one of these days anyway 😅

Last 2 things I passed up:

- forced myself off this ledge. 😅 It sure looks pretty though!

- I do still wanna test this blush formula. Had it in my last sale order cart, then remembered Nordstrom carries Kosas—and hey, they have these blushes, so I can get one for $0 OOP via Nordy Notes instead. 👍

@WinglessOne I swatched the Fenty blush lighters in stores and they are so pretty. We also sold out of them so quick.

@SportyGirly125 I’m not surprised they sold out as fast as they did. They really are pretty in person. But I had to draw a line in the spending sand, so this might be an item that haunts me unless Fenty re-releases it sometime.

@curlychiquita You did better than me in that category! 😅 Sometimes it’s very hard to stick to “nope, I already own too many of these” conviction. I did order , and technically the 2 brown blushes I bought could be considered bronzers instead, so that helps me feel better about my blush purchases. 🙃
