Beautylish Lucky Bag 2023

It’s that time again for Beautylish’s Lucky Bags. Which ones are you hoping to snag this year regular $75, XL $150 or are you going to pass on it? Please post pictures of the ones you get. They usually go on sale the day after Christmas and ship in January so sign up to be notified of when they drop on the site and be quick because they will sell out fast.

Hi @SportyGirly125 I have heard about Lucky Bags from YouTubers. And have signed up for the Beautylish Launch Club. Plus I have signed up to get notifications from the website.
There are a lot of really nice products that they carry. The brushes they carry are pricey 😲

@Cissy63 The brushes that are expensive are made in Japan and are worth the money.

@CynthieLu it’s available in Canada! I think traditionally only the regular size was but they might have offered XL in Canada last year too, I’m not positive

@SportyGirly125 @Same - I love the possibilities even though I’ve had more meh bags than good.

plus someone started a rumor last year that they put all the good stuff in bags that will be received first and then the east coast gets all dud stuff. I doubt it’s actually true but it made me think to really look at what’s coming in later received boxes

@Kim888 I tired to quickly check but I couldn't get any info and when I tired to sign up for email notifications on thier site it gave me an error message when I tired to confirm my email address. lol I think it's trying to tell me something 🤣🤣

@niquekristan The best bag I've gotten was a regular bag, vs. my XL bags. So I'd say you're onto something there. 🙂

@Cissy63 Beautylish is a good retailer with great customer service. I'm glad you signed up for their mailing list! Each year they do a gift card event (2022's already happened) where you earn $x per $x spent, usually $20 for each $100 USD. That's a good way to bank gift cards for future purchases of brushes and lucky bags, if you know you'll spend at least $100 anyway. During that event, they also do a lot of GWP and sale pricing for some brands.

Since Visage USA seems to be defunct now (I don't know what's going on with them), Beautylish is the only US retailer I know of that carries Chikuhodo brushes. Those are generally well worth their price tags. So are Sonia G. brushes. Come to think of it, Beautylish is pretty much the only place (in the US) I buy natural hair brushes anymore. 😄 [EDIT: I also buy Rephr Japanese handmade brushes direct from the brand, and they ship from a US warehouse.]

@SportyGirly125 I know I said last year's was my last lucky bag. But I also know I'll probably have a last minute change of heart and roll the dice next month. 🤦‍♀️ Either way, it'll be fun to see what everyone gets this time around! Here's hoping for much better bags than many folks got last time.

Yes! I got a Wayne Goss 00 brush in my very first $75 Lucky Bag (I think it was 2019). I wasn’t into natural hair/higher quality makeup brushes then, so I wasn’t wowed in the moment. Once I started using it, the brush made me get more of his face and eye brushes, and now I own several more brands of fude! I hope your bag is extra lucky this year 🙂
