Question about Insider / VIB / Rouge?

Hey, I've been looking through Google and the Sephora site but I can't find any answers for this question!

I'm currently an Insider, but I expect to hit VIB sometime before the end of 2019. My question is, how does the tier system work and/or how long would my VIB status last? Say for example I hit VIB 1st June, 2019. Am I only VIB until the end of the calendar year (so, ending 31st December 2019) and have to start over on 1st January 2020? Or would I be VIB from 1st June 2019 - 1st June 2020? How does this all work? Thanks! (Wasn't sure what group to post this question in so hopefully it's okay here.)

Any status earned in 2019 is valid through the end of 2020. Full terms of the program can be found here
