How do I level up from rookie ?

Are there things I need to be doing to move up from rookie ? I buy things all the time I’m not sure what else I’m supposed to be doing !! Thank you in advance 😊

If you look next to your username, there are two status indicators.

VIB is for the Rewards program, and is based solely on how much you spend.

Rookie is your Community ranking, and is based solely on your participation here in BIC...posts, hearts (both received and given), looks posted to the gallery, etc. It has nothing to do with your spending.

Just keep hanging out and interacting, and your rank will increase over time 🙂

Go Getter was some sort of warped black hole...it seemed impossible to get out of. Rookie and Rising Star seemed to move along pretty steadily, but GG was like hitting a brick wall all of a sudden. Have faith...it'll happen...but it will seem like an eternity before it does 😅

I've been wondering the same thing, it seems that most people are saying that its all about being apart of the community. And also that it takes a long time to rank up :(. I feel like I'm on here all the time but an making no progress because I don't have a good standing ground. All of my focus has been on making good reviews and remembering what products have worked for me. The discussion portion is a bit intimidating... O.O I guess we will see where all this takes me.

@aashlynmariee I was just like you stuck at Rookie I forever. It really does depends on posts, hearts, reviews, looks, etc because I was Rookie I back in May and now I'm at Rising Star II.

always wondered the same thing, but also wondering if it even matters? like on influenster your level of "influence" and followers supposedly make a difference in the number of voxboxes (free items to try and review). is there any incentive to move up from rookie here?

Hi @mebeval,

Your level depends on how active you are within the BI community. You will eventually see your status change with the more interactions and responses that you have. Leaving product reviews helps and posting looks within the gallery will help as well. 🙂
