Not to take any business away from Sephora, but this is what I got from Ulta! An 8 piece sampler kit, a 12 piece sampler kit, and a 7 piece sampler kit, all for only $20! If you haven't already, definitely check out the Ulta Favorites kits! They have a lot of great stuff for cheaper! I am going to open them and take pictures and post them in the replies so you can see the inside!

Don't worry @vallyyyyy there is plenty of business to go around for both Sephora and Ulta. ( lol). I'm sure ur not the only member in the BIC to shop at Ulta. I just want both sides to get along. Both sides love makeup!!!!

Right, there are things I love about both. I like products at Sephora more, but I don't like some of the prices. I don't like as many products at Ulta, but I like some of the prices. They should honestly work something out together!

@vallyyyyy @sissyboi72 Yeah, we often post about other retailers here on BIC. 🙂 Heck, some have their own ongoing threads: ,, and first come to mind. That Ulta thread is where some of us will occasionally offer up our Diamond/Platinum promo gift codes for others to use, by the way.

I’ve been an Ulta shopper since the early 2000s, when they were called Ulta3. It’s been fun watching them grow from just a few stores in my state (they’re based in Illinois) to a national chain, with their product inventory shifting from drugstore (they used to be much more of a Walgreens/CVS-meets-salon-meets-fragrance-store place) to a balance of low-cost and higher end cosmetics. I’d rather Ulta and Sephora remain separate. I mean, there’s already too much monopolizing in the beauty industry; I don’t wanna see these 2 major retailers merge. Competition is good!

Wow, what a fantastic deal! I love that Ulta offers such affordable sampler kits. Their selection is always impressive. Plus, Ulta's return policy is super convenient, which makes shopping stress-free. I should say, it’s always fun to try new products without breaking the bank!
