Best mascara

What is everyone’s favorite mascara?   
I was a super loyal user of It cosmetics Dry Bar collab mascara for the longest time but I feel liked they changed the recipe and it burned my eyes! Heart broke!

so I am on the hunt again!   
In a perfect world I would love the mascara to not-
clump, flake, burn my eyes, and have a smooth application

My current fave is the mascara from Rare Beauty. Doesn't flake too much, is not heavy on the eyes and is definitely on the cheaper side (in comparison to many others on the Sephora website)

Mascara can be such a treacherous thing, because there's so many personal preferences and things you can react to.

These are my faves, hopefully there's one here you like (or on someone else's list)

(runner up to Ami, with a good wand for separating)

- Love the length it gives

- Really fluffs and fills out a lash

@chyy123 I have really sensitive eyes and have never had a problem with L'oreal's Voluminous or Lash Paradise (the waterproof versions). These are my go-to mascaras. I recently purchased Maybelline Curl Bounce (also waterproof) on a whim because it was on sale, and it has not caused any problems. It is not as thick as the other two, but it goes on smooth and is buildable to get the effect you want.

My daughter, my sister and I all use and love ilia. It is clean, doesn't irritate and goes on smoothly.

@chyy123 Like @danielledanielle I'm a fan of (sorry I can't get the exact right hash tag in the pop-up). However, I was researching clean mascaras recently, and the Ilia mascara mentioned by @plumperpowerlips is well rated and is a clean brand. You might have better luck with in terms of not experiencing burning eyes.

@chyy123 I've had a great long time experience with because it makes my lashes appear fuller and somewhat lengthened even without the primer.

With the hotter Summer weather and sweating much more is part of my regular routine.

You can get a more lengthening effect with the formula but your actual lash volume will not appear fuller in my experience. The mini size is especially handy for the lower lashes and it's available in the BeautyINSIDER 100Pts category of Rewards.

@chyy123 I still love the volume that I get from the but if you like something more lengthening (and it's also a tubing mascara) the Thrive Liquid Lash Extensions is very nice.
