I registered in Sephora about a week ago and made my first purchase of 50$. I got the points that had been added to my account, but I am afraid that I could loose all of them on Jan 1 of 2018. How does the status upgrade work? Does the year start from the registration date, or it restarts on the calendar New Year? As for status, Sephora resets everyone's status at the beginning of each calendar year. So on January 1, 2018, the amount you spent will return to $0 and you would have to spend at least $350 by December 31, 2018 to qualify for VIB or $1000 to qualify for Rouge. However, if you spend $350 by December 31, 2017, you will qualify forVIB this year as well as the next calendar year, meaning you will remain VIB until December 31, 2019.
