I second this! The L'Occitane sets are amazing gifts for people who aren't super into makeup, but they still feel very luxurious. I also think Fresh's sets are great or people who don't wear much makeup - their lip balms feel very luxurious and are very subtle and easy to wear. In a similar vein, Bite's lip balm set are also adorable little gifts that are great for people who like lip care, but aren't really into full makeup.

Have you met before? I know this sounds a little crazy, but the next time you’re over visiting, take a peek at her bathroom counter. You may find hints if she’s into any brands that Sephora carries, or if she’s into mainstream brands you get at department stores or grocery stores. Like if she likes special fragrances or stays with simple body care like Dove or Oil of Olay. There could help you decide which gift set to get, and you can always add a gift receipt.

I would get her drunk elephant \"out of the office \" mini gift it has lippe balm , d bronzi and small marula oil . I think it is perfect small trendy gift and she will get to try something new .

Don't buy her skin care. I'd be offended if my son's girlfriend bought that for me. Yes, I'm older and have some wrinkles, but I would feel like she was either judging or making the assumption that I don't take care of my skin.

Buy a nice body set with shower gel and body butter, or something neutral like a set of lip balms or a set of mini-hand creams. Those are things I'd love and would appreciate as a very sweet gesture.

And whatever you do, NEVER snoop through her bathroom or vanity to see what she's using. If someone did that to me I'd toss them out of my house faster than a New York minute. How freaking rude!!

L'OCCITANE - Holiday Almond Ornament

I would go with bath/body products and something yummy from Godiva. This little l'occitane ornament might be a nice idea, the almond products they make are luxurious and smell incredible.

Or how about this set? I think it looks amazing! Probably something you wouldnt buy for yourself as it is quite a novelty and an unnecessary splurge but would make a lovely gift .. the price is great too. I think if you got her this and a beautiful card she'd be delighted.

@Anonymous Hmm, kinda tough. I browsed through the Sephora site and not much comes to mind with not much go off of. I would recommend going to TJ Maxx or Marshall's and putting together a cute set. You can get a nice sized keepsake box and fill it will like a nice, soft bath towel and other bathroom related products. They have a good variety of beauty/bath items. A bath bomb, salts, fancy bar soap, lotions, lib balm, body scrubs, hand cream. Kind of like a pampering box 🙂
