Im the same age as you and have tried dozens of good quality foundations over the years. My search ended when I came upon Guerlains bb cream. Its in a league of its own and Id recommend reading the glowing reviews to get a feel for why people love it. I find it just so easy to use and gives a beautiful, dewy, and very natural finish. It is lightweight, hydrating, lasts forever, smells incredible, and looks simply flawless.Ive now started to replace a lot of my other cosmetics with Guerlain and have yet to be disappointed.

@katie41670 Hourglass Cosmetics make a primer and a foundation for dry skin. The primer is the No. 28 Primer Serum and the foundation is the Veil Fluid Makeup Oil Free Broad Spectrum SPF 15. Both of these have a thinner, serum consistency and contain skin care ingredients to hydrate the skin.

I’m 40 and currently on Accutane so my is on the dry side. I really like Bobbi Brown Skin foundation. It feels so comfortable on the skin without ever feeling dry or tight. It’s lightweight but you can build up the coverage, and it’s a ease to blend. It feels like a hydrating BB Cream; my face never feels cakey which is why I love it; it feels and looks like skin.

I would stick with the It Cosmetics one. Maybe add their Secret Sauce Cream it will hydrate your skin with the foundation. Your skin will feel great look awesome and with a natural glow.

My favorite that fits your requirements is Chanel Vitalumiere. The coverage is only medium, but it is so luxurious and moisturizing. I usually use about 5-7 foundations on rotation just because I love trying different ones, but this one is ALWAYS on the vanity. On the really cheap end is Milani Conceal and Perfect. Really good coverage, not really "dewy" but never, ever dry. I've gotten almost every female in my circle over the age of 50 using this. It is only at the drugstore though. I’ve found that Charlotte Tilbury’s Light Wonder has worked really well for my dry, sensitive, skin- it works much better for me that IT Cosmetics or Chanel did. (Plus it’s cruelty free!)
