topic Paula’s Choice Retinol in Age Defiers

I’m looking to get a new retinol product and generally tolerate most things pretty well. I have dry skin type and my concerns are fine lines and wrinkles. I’ve tried Farmacy retinol but didn’t find it made any difference for me. I loved Summer Fridays retinol but am allergic to nut oils which it unfortunately contains. My next option was to try Paula’s Choice Retinol. However I can’t really figure out which one to choose between the 1% and 0.3% formulas. I understand 1% is a higher concentration but I was led to believe that higher is not necessarily better, so much as the delivery formula for the retinol itself. I’m wondering which of these would be best for fine lines and wrinkles? <LI-PRODUCT title="Paula's Choice CLINICAL 1% Retinol Treatment" id="P469510_"></LI-PRODUCT> <LI-PRODUCT title="Paula's Choice Clinical 0.3% Retinol + 2% Bakuchiol Treatment 1 oz/ 30 mL" id="P481348_2534188"></LI-PRODUCT>

Alternatively, is there another brand you’d recommend entirely instead? For relevance and product availability, I am located in Canada.

I love Paula’s choice. I’m 50 and have had a pretty basic routine of their Defense line for a while now. I do use the highest retinol and maybe I should look into what you’re saying about delivery!

I also have dry skin! I recently bought the wrinkle + texture concentrate on an (expensive) whim and I'm in love. It feels like a silky hydrating primer - thicker than a serum, kinda like the benefit pore correcter primer, but 1,00000x better and with actives! I was really impressed by the ingredients and formulation "technology" to allow vit. C and retinol together. I've only had about 2 weeks so I'm still trying it out. I have to admit, I'm also on Rx tretinoin (which I highly recommend. There are online prescribers now), but I don't find this irritating or drying when used in combo.

I've also heard that the murad resurfacing line is fantastic and provides quick results. Several cosmetic chemists have approved. I'll link it below. I have not tried this product.
