I have swatches of UD liquid aura compared to Milk holographic supernova. I really wanted to get the Supernova holographic look with a formula that is lighter to wear. I found at first swatch they are similar with Milk having a more pigmented swatch. The UD seemed to far after a couple of hours with the holographic pigment when I tried to strategically apply as a highlight. As a mix-in it did have a pretty lightening effect that was very natural!
alright, here it is. use this thread to request swatches. the guidelines are up to you and your needs: single swatches, comparison swatches, specific skin tone swatches when comparisons are requested, feel free to provide whatever you have of that request--i want anyone to participate and contribute if they want to. have fun, hope this is helpful !
So who has tried the color IQ in stores & on-line? http://www.sephora.com/IQ/color/ I heard people going into multiple stores & getting a different reading each time. I just tried the on-line tool with a light neutral undertone shade & all my results were medium with pink or yellow undertones. I also don't understand why I only get a few results and then try another foundation and get different product results. Like if I plugged in a tinted moisturizer shade I wouldn't get any powder product results even though that's what I'm looking for. Maybe if we post our results, they can somehow fix/improve it. So please... Share your results.

Hey guys! This is our Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid lipstick swatch + review video. We swatched all 29 shades on 4 models! Let us know what you think and what are some other products that you might want to see next!
Hi guys. I have dark brown/ black hair, dark brown eyes, and an Indian like skin tone . I am the shade Medium in Smashbox's BB cream and shade 173 (Amber) in Make Up For Ever HD Invisible Cover Foundation just to give you guys a rough idea of what my skin tone is like. I am interested in the Naked palettes but I have no idea which one to choose. Any help would be great. Thanks!
Don't clean off that swatch hand just yet! I love seeing product swatches, so I thought it would be fun if we shared pictures of our swatch hands. No need to remember everything you swatch, but it would be great if you let us know which product swatch impressed you the most and one that disappointed you.
Just received my YSL ECLAT BR50 as usual, however it appeared to be a differnt color. I went on line and it says BR50 is now Cool Honey? It's always been Warm Beige. What is going on and what color should I have ordered. $58.00 down the drain?
Hello, I currently use Make up For Ever Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation Y385 & Make UP For Ever Pro Finish Multi Use Powder Foundation color 127 Golden Sand . I wanted to know which Ultra HD concealer would be a perfect match with these products i have? Thanks -Shay
Hi-- I currently wear Benefit Foundation (Oxygen Wow! in Petal). I love the color/tone, but wanted to switch the MUFE as I like the coverage better. I tried the color "Light" but it was too light. Any idea what the equivalent to Benefit's 'Petal' would be?
We swatched the new NARS Audacious Lipsticks to see how the colors looked on different skintones. What do you think? Do you have a swatch of them? Post a pic in the thread below!

So I am a bit obsessed with Urban Decay liners. I especially love the browns, purples and greens for my green eyes, so with my most recent purchase of 1/3rd of the Urban Decay liner vault set (shared with the awesome gals Rikkie and Veronika), I wanted to swatch my full line-up of current UD liners. A few are vintage or special edition from the Ocho Loco 2 set - I have marked them separately. Probably my favorite go-to liners right now are Twice Baked or Corrupt for browns, Stash for green, Rockstar or Tornado for purple, plus I love doing slight highlighting accents with Goldmine or Dime. The photo posted gets downsized a little, to see the full-sized version it is here: http://community.sephora.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/61137i6B44A53CA52F49EF/image-size/original...

I just got the Tartelette and have barely broken it in but I look at the Showstopper and just want to sigh in love. I'm a little intimidated by the blush since I've never used that color on my cheeks before. Anybody try it yet?
Please, I need some advice on choosing contouring shades, if anyone would be so kind. My foundation color is 3Y01 (currently using Porcelain in Sephora's baked powder line). In many lines, 3Y01 seems to be the absolute lightest color. I'd really love to work with contouring makeup, but the "highlighting" colors in every contouring palette I have seen are actually deeper than my skin . So in other words, they'd all create a shadow on me rather than a highlight. Counterproductive. Would anybody with color expertise be able to suggest some colors I could use for contouring? If they have to be purchased separately rather than in a palette, that's fine; I'd just like to know which ones will work! Powder formulas preferred. Thank you!
So I currently live overseas, but have been DYING to try some NARS products since i've heard amazing things about them!! I've always been a dedicated Clinique client, but am starting to experiment with different brands. The only thing is that since I live in Sweden and have absolutely no Sephora/NARS carrier around me, I cannot find my shade... I'm looking at ordering NARS tinted moisturizer, does anyone what shade would match Cliniques stay-matte oil-free foundation in Alabaster(02)? I'm also experimenting with contouring and looking at their bronzers and blushes, what shades would look best on my (really) fair skin? I don't want it to look too faked, i'd like something natural looking and subtle, seeing as I am 15 and not interested in super heavy makeup.
Have you bought the same lipstick shade but from a different brand/formula before? Are you like me and have an unhealthy addiction to dusty rose pink/red/plum/coral (insert your fav shade here) lipsticks? Have you inadvertently bought the exact same shade before? Wanna talk about it? Wanna show it off? Let me start with Exhibit A: Bite Beauty Rosewood Buttercream (far left) and Bite Beauty High Pigment Lip Pencil in Rhubarb (second from from left). The picture doesn't really do this justice but hey pretty much look the same. Rosewood is more opaque with a thicker texture. I love them both. Exhibit B/C From left: Bite Beauty High Pigment Lip Pencil in Pomegranate, Bite Beauty Cashmere Lip Cream in Rioja (two true reds I just really like a lot), then for the dark berry pinks (Sephora Mulberry Luster, then Bite Winterberry)
I am trying to decide between Nars Malaga and Seychelles tinted moisturizer. I wear the Nars Amande concealer and it is a great match for my skin tone. Therefore, could someone do a swatch with Malaga TM and Amande concealer or Seychelles TM and Amande concealer? Maybe all three if you have all three? Please let me know if you think if any of the colors are exact matches or if one is darker or lighter?
