This would be more helpful if it had a variety of skin tones.  African-American women wear smoky eyes, too.

Love the swatches but when I think about a smokey look I always think about matte eyeshadows and the like.  The colors look a little too metallic for me.  I love how the colors look on medium skintone though.

Be sure and post how you like it. I just bought it yesterday and I'm torn if the colors are too dark for me.   I'm pale and I'm going to keep experimenting.  So far mushroom is my favorite.

Love love love this palette!!! Awesome swtaches.  Colors look lovely on warm skin, I'm more the color in the middle.  Still love Urban Decay shadows!!

So pretty! Makes me wish I had darker skin instead of being whiter than paper. These eyeshadows always look beautiful on darker skin, but I still love Urban Decay eyeshadows no matter what!

Such pretty shades, this palette is great! I love how it has the perfect shades of green and blue that you can match to the neutrals included, the colors look especially flattering on the warmer skin tone!

I LOVE how you guys swatch palletes!! Thank you so much for considering deeper skin tones! It saves me from having to scower the internet trying to find decent swatches on medium to deep skin!

In return, I love seeing how the colors look on pale skin! I guess it is hard at both ends of the spectrum Just seeing the how the different shades will look on different skin tones is very interesting to me. I hope Sephora expands this idea to more of its products.
