I was wondering, has anyone tried to mix any of the colors together?

I'm thinking if I buy the holiday set, maybe I could still get some use out of the colors that didn't swatch nicely on me in their pure form.

I haven't but its not something i do often with any lip product.  i would just use your finger or a brush to apply the 2nd or however many colors after the 1st. that way the applicator doesn't get gross, since its not as easy to clean as a lipstick.

Thanks.  I caved and bought the holiday set today (darn NARS promo code made me do it!) so I will report back once it gets here to let you all know how that works out.

I applied Peony with a brush the few times I've tried it (I don't like that weird spongy tip) but I just wasn't sure if the dry down on this would prevent me from being able to blend colors before they set.

These are so pretty.  I wish the holiday Melted set came in different color configurations.  Most of the ones I want aren't in the box!

I got a deluxe sample of peony a while back, and it does not look good on me at all.  I did swatch fig and coral in store recently and they are amazing.
