alright, here it is. use this thread to request swatches. the guidelines are up to you and your needs: single swatches, comparison swatches, specific skin tone swatches

Not a swatch, but posting in case anyone wanted to see how the Manicurist polish looks once applied:

1 coat of Active BrightOne coat of Active Smooth on top of 1 coat of Active BrightAfter 1 week of wear

Second photo: One coat of Active Smooth in the shade 00 on top of Active Bright

Third photo: Chipping at tips after one week of wear. Two coats total of Active Smooth applied.

Overall, manicure was okay in a professional setting. Worked out great for onsite client meetings but the bareness of it all is not my vibe. I will use when I need a break from bright colors but wasn't too thrilled with how quickly it chipped compared to my Mooncat polishes.

New Valentino eyeliners in the shimmer shades. I was wearing them on my arm for a majority of my work shift. Even tried on a sweater and they didn’t budge.

Took the plunge and got several of the new LV lips and eye refill only. Lol. The formula on both satin and matte lips is wonderful. I see definite similarities to many other Pat McG shades, so good. The matte is more of a semi -matte and lasts forever but is still very comfortable. Zero drying for me at least.  Has a bit of a sheen to it as well. Both are so smooth and the satin feels just comforting. I did not try the balm even though they looked so nice but honestly it was insanity $ for the rest. I got the lips first then added the eye and other lip refill. Of course when she tried the eye on me I was sunk. I don’t know about the other shades but this particular group has the prettiest translucent sheen to it when layered. Just crazy about it. (Some of the other eyes look very similar to Dior quints.) I wore it awhile and then went back a few days later to get it. It is a bit fragile without the case but while I like and appreciate the artistry of the cases it just wasn’t as important to me vs the actual products. Same with the lips. Happy to get one case and just use refills for the rest. The lip case is weighty, magnetizes perfectly and it’s a bonus to see the color at the end. They all come with the suede pouch but they barely fit! Very tight.  Also the refills do advance, it’s just a little tricky and a very thin roll up at the bottom . But it works and saves money too! Maybe later I’ll add another lip and eye case but I don’t think so. The eye refill also surprisingly came with the pouch and 2 little brushes which are pretty decent for what they are. I thought maybe only with the actual case but nope! Nice. Edit- the refills are magnetic. Sorry I left this info out! 

It was a wild scene when I was in the boutique , eeeks! Anybody else go ? I know you did @ChristalM , wild times here! It seems there are different rules at different locations for trying on the product or at least it was that day. Maybe it’s loosened up as I know they had to have decent control. ( From what I’ve read too there have been some different rules at different locations.) You could only try 3 on your hand and 2 on lips with the little pod and applicator but that was fine. She did give me the pod and it was the one I bought later. (These “ideas” work, people. lol)  I would have loved to do a few more but I kind of knew where I was aiming anyway. ( I saw others sneaking them and trying so many on their hands though! 😆 I was not a rule breaker , for once. 🥹🤣) 

All in all I really love the lips and have been wearing them nonstop. They too have a really beautiful translucent sheen that I really like. So flattering to see them meld into the lips. I am swatching lightly and more heavily to show the intensity. Also 3 from my SA and the little samples that come with the orders. The color stories in store are a good way to set them up. I think the shade I bought in the satin is the equivalent to the matte shade. Happy accident. Lol @WinglessOne … so?! 😂 Maybe you got something and I missed it! The purples were screaming your name. @danielledanielle ?! 

The little lip cases and trunks were beyond adorable but just no. Such willpower. Ha. (At least that was the story I was prepared to tell at home! Turns out the car trunk method still works best sometimes! 🥹) @blackkitty2014

It was a very fun experience @PrettyPaint . The refill seemed to be the only doable solution considering! 🤣Especially because I couldn’t resist the lips. Shocking. Lol. But it does work. I am in the process of figuring out an empty case for them as we speak as per the great suggestions ⬇️ if you need any as well. Thanks again @Titian06 @WinglessOne! )The other eye shades look very pretty but honestly from what I’ve seen they do seem to be very similar to Dior’s for example . So definitely can be coins saved there! The green palette stood out to me however and it’s really lovely on!
