They carry the Hourglass blushes (backordered, but most of them are OOS on Sephora right now)... need I say more? The code is DISCOVER20, and it's valid until next Tuesday, April 22. I picked up a 4-pack of Clarisonic brush heads (I'm stocked up for the next 2.5 years now ), the Hourglass blush in Radient Magenta (thanks to everyone who helped me decide ), and the Hourglass Illume Creme-to-Powder Bronzer Duo in Bronze Light. I split the items up into two orders and got a $40 discount! These are the Sephora product pages for the items I picked up: https://www.sephora.com/cleansing-brush-head-value -pack-P377534?skuId=1494368 https://www.sephora.com/ambient-lighting-blush-P38 4963?skuId=1581339 http://www.sephora.com/illume-creme-to-powder-bron zer-duo-P210576?skuId=1074459 I should be on a no-buy, but I felt this deal was too good to pass up! Happy shopping, everyone!
I was just watching a review done by RAEeivew I didn't watcher her videos from the beginning.. so I might be missing something but she literally buys everything high end and in multiples too. as in 6 different Giorgio Armani foundations in her own skin color (I got the feeling that she's buying stuff for her own use) Does she just have a job that pays like a celebrity or is she inherently rich like her dad owns Samsung does anyone know?
I've read a lot of reviews about face masks that mention how hard it is to get them off... and I recently saw a thread on beauty talk about favorite masks with a lot of comments about how this and that mask sticks to your skin, so I just wanted to share a quick tip. I'm sure most of you will roll your eyes but maybe someone hasn't thought of it: You know how some masks say to use a hot damp towel to open your pores? well a damp towel is also a really really good option for washing of a mask without making a huge mess. I have a stack of these IKEA-towels in my beauty cupboard. They are only 49 cents so not a major beauty investment: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/5021508 4/ When it's time to rinse off, I just soak a towel in warm (not hot) water, wring it out, put it over my face to "wet" the mask and then use it to gently "scrub" my face clean, rising the towel as I go. It only takes a minute, it doesn't create a massive flood on my bathroom floor, and it very gently exfoliates the face. After I get all the mask off I just rinse the towel out and throw it in the washer. If you're struggling with a mask being annoyingly hard to wash off... give it a try! I think it helps a lot
Does anybody else look at makeup not only as a hobby, but as a distraction? I find it as an escape sometimes. I'm in a long distance relationship, go to school, and work full time. Makeup is a way for me to numb and distract myself. Anyone else feel this way about makeup?
Ahhhhhh! I have just been going nuts with the makeup purchases since January! I have literally been buying up stuff as I see and want it! I read a suggest that to cut back a bit I should go through a No-buy period unless it's a necessity. How long should a no-buy be? I was thinking a month but am scared a palette will come out I really want, lol. I'm a bit weak. i think I need a little support with this one! This isn't going to include the palettes I have coming in the mail. I just am not allowed to make anymore purchases starting today for ??????.
We swatched the 4 of the new MAKE UP FOR EVER Aqua Matic eyeshadow pencils to see how the colors looked on different skintones. What do you think?
Have you swatched these? Post a pic in the thread below!

Ok, I am a sucker for hilarious memes. I hope this thread can be one where you guys post your favorites. NOTE: I am not offended easily, so if you are, don't open the spoiler Spoiler (Highlight to read) Bad luck Brian is totally my favorite because there are quite a few VERY inappropriate ones that I can laugh at in the comfort of my own home without be judged. After a winter polar vortex comes a spring pollen vortex according to some newscaster so, for me, that means a long allergy season ahead!! Itchy nose, mega fits of sneazing (+10 in a row), tears streaming down my face people think I'm crying. Of course I take the anti-histamines when I can but sometimes, due to work, I absolutely have to stay away from them to stay mentally alert. I do the usual with cucumber/tea bags on eyes, drink rooisbos tea etc. How do you deal with allergies(aside from OTC meds)? And, what are you emergency make-up fix tips (like after a major tearing episode, I have to run to the bathroom to clean up my raccoon eyes and wipe away streaks of foundation on my cheek! AHG).
What product do you feel like you will you never in a million years be able to use up? For me it's the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector. The bottle is huge for something I use a tiny drop of a few times a week. Anyone else wish everything came in travel sizes so you could change products every two weeks without feeling guilty about things going bad or going to waste?
Today I managed to drop my brannnd spankin new MUFE Flash palette Help me feel better by telling me I'm not alone - what have you accidentally dropped/messed up lately? *tries not to get tears on the newly cracked case* And to make matters worse, Hourglass cancelled my order for ONE ambient lighting palette because they thought I was a third party seller??! Today is just not my makeup day.
So, last week my daughter (elementary school aged) was looking over my shoulder, and a Tarte lip color was on the screen. I assume it was the bad angle, but she thought it said "Farte," and she hollered, "Farty?" I zoomed in so she could see the writing better, and we got a good laugh out of it. Fast forward to today. The Meet Your Match set just arrived in the mail. She saw the box and commented that it was cute, so I removed the tray and gave her the box. So then she was looking at the products in the tray, and she started laughing. She said she mis-read it as "Farte" again. Then she asked if I wanted some "Farty" on my lips. *sigh* Spoiler (Highlight to read)

I normally ignore the hearts parties, but when there's EIGHT hearts parties all being started by the same person, it's not only annoying but it looks like a really lame attempt to muster up some likes/hearts for the OP. I'm not saying you're a heart-digger... but you're a heart digger. Eight of them being created within a four hour time period is too much. That's spamming.
This is going to sound funny, but I finally broke down and bought a beautyblender sponge after reading reviews and hearing raves from a lot of others on here. Now the question is...how do I use it? I'm used to just using my fingers with my tinted moisturizers or my Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua.
So much homework... must last for another 2 weeks... two research papers... I can make it... Seriously though, it's been like a month since I was able to visit this place. I might not even be able to see the replies to this post! I think I'm losing it. Yep.
Time to celebrate our favorite brat!!!!!!! I actually wanted to throw one sooner for you but I don't think you would have seen it since you were having computer trouble! We love having you and and love your sense of humor and your cats! Here's to many more hearts!
