Are there any brands that make a light blue/green, aqua/turquoise, mint green color for naturally hazel eyes? I do not need vision correction. If not disposable, how much and how long do they last? (Not sure about commiting to a color without wearing first.)
Hey guys! I would really and truly appreciate your help! Being a sephora fan, i am currently writing about online brand communities and am investigating Beauty Talk for my final year thesis! Please take the time to answer a few questions - it takes just 1 minute You can find the link to my survey on my twitter KayleighTobin21 Thank you sooo much!!
Hello, I have a question that maybe you could help me with. I've been into Korean skincare and cosmetics for YEARS now and all of a sudden the US is finally catching on to how amazing these products are. I have been using a 10-12 step Korean skincare routine for a long time and have recently gotten my friends on board. My question is, are there any selling or promoting opportunities available with such products ...similar to Avon, Mary Kay, etc.? I would LOVE to get my hands on a huge bulk order of Korean skincare goodies and help promote and sell the brands. I feel I'd be very successful because of my love and passion for K-beauty! Thank you for taking the time to read this. Roxanne Mori

I am planning to have a revamp done for my parlour. I prefer the cabinets on the wall rather than the normal cabinet furniture. Would like to know more about them from those who have such cabinets in their parlours. Need help with the best custom cabinet makers and the type to go for (walk-in, custom, linen, reach-in) so that I can comfortably stack all the beauty productsand equipments avoiding cluttering. Any suggestions regarding lancaster cabinets and closets
I've never really shopped at Mac Cosmetics before, but Sephora I'm more comfortable. I want to know some differences if any at Mac Cosmetics. If someone who has worked or shopped there, i want your personal feedback. 1. Are customers allowed to try on their products (just to test it out) even if they don't like it afterwards? 2. Do they gladly give you a take home mini sample of a product your interested in? 3. Do they accept returns for products that have been slightly used? 4. Do they have a positive attitude when helping customers with makeup needs (help nicely and be friendly if you want to have more information) ?
Did anyone else take a survey about possible changes/features to the rewards program? I got the option to take it in my email along with 100 bonus points for taking it What did everyone think of it? I thought some of the options were very appealing! In particular the options for in-house beauty event, points for advice/sharing pics and info with other members(which we all already do ), and top secret products available to only you lol I thought the last one would be interesting in practice haha
Recently I happened to read an article which says that copper in water can become toxic and increase the risk of many health disorders. It dilutes the blood vessels in the skin . I need guidance in this matter because I was planning to do a big revamp for my bathroom. I wanted to get copper or brass faucets from better living. I checked for the site too but couldn't find much info in this regard. Am I too sensitive and ignore such warning?
Okay ladies and gentlepeople, My shaver has given up on me. Called it quits, headed for the non hairy hills...LOL I'm looking for a waterproof electric shaver for the bikini and underarm areas. I'm a dark skin woman with coarse hair. I use a regular razor for my legs BUT I have found an electric shaver works well on the other areas. I'm looking at this as an investment BUT I don't want to spend a ton of $$$. Anyone have any recs?
Does anybody know if there are any Kate Spade Printable Coupons? And I already know about the signing up via email and receiving 15% off. But I am talking about any other ones that people are aware of.
This may be my most random post. Any good websites or stores you know of that have good Tragus jewelry? Claire's bars are too long and I prefer 4mm or 6mm and something that's good quality. Spencer's etc.. Seem to have body jewelry but I haven't been impressed with Tragus jewelry and I have searched on EBay but I want to ensure that whatever I purchase is surgical Steele. Any places you trust for body jewelry? Thanks! 😀

**I wrote this a while back but it kept saying there was profanity so it took me a while to find the one word that was preventing this from getting posted.** To be totally honest, I really wasn't expecting to actually LIKE Formula X, let alone develop a major crush. I thought that Formula X, being Sephora's in-house nail polish brand, would be equivalent to bad drugstore nail polish. And that I wouldn't waste money on such nonsense. And then, courtesy of Sephora and Formula X and BeautyTalk, I received a mystery package. You guessed it, it was Formula X's The System To Go (with colour shade Alive). I told myself I had to try it because I wanted to be on the anti-hype train. But the opposite sort of happened. For a Xmas mani, I decided on trying out The System with that VIB Rouge Formula X renewal shade from who even knows how long ago. So this review is about everything except the colour in this set. Cleanse: I thought this could be better. The brush was way too small but perfectly sized in all the other bottles. I thought it was essentially nail polish remover. It strips the nail of oils so that your base coat sticks right onto your nails. I could use the bottle of crappy nail polish remover I have sitting around for this instead of spending 13$ on a little polish jar. For the price, I expect to have a large bottle of it. Even my favourite OPI remover costs less. Prime: I actually really liked this. It applied very well to my nails and it dried quickly (and clear). It did a great job of prepping my nail for colour application. The colour caught on to the base really well and wasn't streaky. I'm still wearing my mani but I'm hoping my nails won't be stained when I remove it. I think I like this as much as I love my all-time favourite Essie base coat!!! VIB Rouge renewal colour: So I haven't tried Alive, which came with my set. I went for red because I wanted to have a Xmas vibe going on. The polish applied really well and stuck right onto the base coat with no hassle. It was even pretty darn opaque with just one coat. With two, it was perfect. No streaky mess. No bubbling! Yay! I have to say I really really love the polish. Shine: I usually have very bad experiences with top coats so I wasn't expecting much. I applied two coats just to be sure that it was indeed "fast-drying". Which it actually turned out to be so yay! I didn't wake up with smudges or blanket fluff on my nails!! It sealed in the colour quickly and dried quickly and thoroughly, which is what I need in a so-called fast drying top coat. Also, no bubbles, which is a huge plus. It didn't do any of that weird shrinking of the polish stuff when it dried. I have the perfect mani. My all-time favourite top coat is Essie's Good To Go and this is the first time that any top coat has even come close. I did my nails around 5-6 days ago and I only have slight chipping on the very edge of the nails that isn't visible. My nails still look like I just did them, except for the little bit where my nail has grown out lol. All in all, I quite enjoyed this set a lot more than I thought I would. For some reason, my mother and I just had this impression that Formula X would be awful and we were both so very impressed with the performance of these polishes that we might actually start buying them. The only con is the price point. I can get polishes with the same quality for a lot less. Formula X ranges from 13-18 and I can get Essie for 8-9 and OPI for 10. I just don't think it's feasible unless they have a very unique colour that I can't find elsewhere. The high price is a turn-off for me. As for this set, it could have been a bit cheaper but was still a decent price if you are like me and didn't want to take the full plunge into the sea of Formula X. If you have nothing to lose, get the full-size version of The System because you save a lot more $$$.
I had a bad injury and can't really go to school, and was wondering if anyone knew if this is actually a useful site? Is it sufficient enough to get lets say a job at sephora? Now I am aware that you do not need to be a certified MUA to work at sephora, but will it help, and with other job opportunities as well?
Okay Canadians what's going on for boxing day? Any deals out there we should know of? Anything exciting? ? Post away ...hopefully there will be some great deals to post! And since we have had Black Friday in Canada does the US get boxing day or nah?

Because I was procrastinating while studying for finals, I stumbled upon the "pretty girls, ugly faces" posts on various websites. Reddit has a subreddit for it.
Not sure if any ladies would be interested, but I thought it would be fun for us to goof off a little after making ourselves gorrrgeous daaaaaahling.
(Oooooh, here's an idea, after you post in the "What are you wearing today" thread you can head on down here! lol.)
I can start it off to break the ice. Don't judge me.

Tell me I'm beautiful.
So for those of you that have been into makeup before the crazy social media hype around products/tools etc.., did you find products were better/worse? What kind of changes have you noticed and how do you feel having a massive 'beauty community' nowadays? Do you feel companies have listened to what consumers want? Do you think social media, overall, has impacted positively/negatively and how so? I feel social media has helped and other times products are so hyped and don't live up to the hype for me. I have learned many things online and with YouTube it's easy to do a full-face of makeup yourself. After enough videos, chatting on BT , and googling one becomes so knowledgeable and after some practice one even becomes a pro lol- for her(him)/self anyways!! I also know, on the other hand, that makeup prices are increasing all the time, and don't know if this is due to social media and product 'hype' or just the general cost of things overall...can't help but be curious I personally wasn't into makeup until a couple years ago. I had never ventured into the makeup world prior, and often just wore eyeliner and would go about my day. The craziest I got with makeup was wearing mascara lol and even some blush. Now I like to wear a full-face at times and at times, nothing. The only thing I haven't gotten into is wearing falsies. Other then that I love it all- from contouring, to highlighting and playing with different looks. I love looking dewy and having dat J-Lo glow ...A girl can never have too many lipsticks either... So...what are your thoughts? =)
Hi, I used my coupon and just realize that I need to get some more gifts so if anyone are using theirs, please send me a private message with the codes. It will be much appreciated. p/s: please do not post the code in the comment since someone else may grab it before I can use it. Thanks a lot.
So, I am applying to law school and haven't been teaching as much. I miss teaching 2-3 classes a day! So, I thought maybe if anyone here has any questions about starting or continuing a yoga practice, I could fill my little void that way! Background: I have been practicing for about 10 years. I am certified in kripalu yoga, which is more along the hatha (breath-based) tree. I wrote my college thesis on yoga and the community formed within and around it. I have also run races from 5ks to half marathons and ride horses, so any athlete/injury related questions around yoga I probably have some background to pull from. So...any yogis in the house? :-)
