So, I've always done the bare minimum when it comes to make up... Mostly because I am on the go starting at 5;30am and don't really have the time to do a whole lot, so I've never learned... I want to learn though, how to do eyebrows, and contouring etc. At the tutorial in store will they go over all that with me, and help me find all the proper shades of everything I need, because I am so lost when it comes to the world of makeup!!
I'm wondering about the new option for a mini makeover, the fb promo for my area (square one Mississauga ON) talks about taking photo's after. Should you wear foundation in for this or is it best to come in without it? thanks in advance
I am heading to Puerta Vallarta in May and wanted to see if there was a Sephora there.. unfortunately not.. but it got me to looking at the Mexico Sephora website. Looks like prices are INSANE. Even after you convert Pesos to dollars.. everything seems to be DOUBLE the Canadian prices.. triple the US prices. Am I missing something? Has anyone been to Sephora Mexico?
I was sent the wrong samples again, though this is the first time I have brought it up. I saw that you are still offering some of the samples I originally ordered, so I'm assuming you are not out of stock (really, you can't be out of stock of samples of your own brand's foundation, right?). I chose samples based on things I actually might buy and things I can use. I received things I can't use. Why offer a choice if I'm constantly going to get the wrong ones? I know they are free, and that's great, but I'm not going to spend time scouring ingredients and reviews If I'm not going to get them anyway. It's just frustrating when you are looking forward to them even more than what your purchased. I just picture some chick or dude in a warehouse giving zero fraks and throwing in whatever because meh, who cares because who will know and nothing seems to be done about it? It's just so aggravating. Is there ANY way at all to actually increase my chances of getting what I actually ordered? Thank you
I spent 155$ at sephora in Halifax, ns. I've never been to an actual sephora store before as I usually just order online. I walked into the store looking for a specific thing, could not find it and it took me about 15 minutes before I could get someone to help me find it. Everything's disorganized in the store, most workers did not look like workers aND we're basically standing around doing nothing. . I didn't even get one single sample or even talked to for that matter. Such a disappointment at least when you order online you get 4 free samples! Wanted a makeover but didn't see a single worker even around the makeup station
Hello, I made a reservation to have my makeup done for prom and I'm super excited. I know I have to spend 50 dollars first. I was wondering, if I want to wear false lashes, do I have to buy them and have he/she put them on? Also, is it likely my artist will be able to do a full face job in 45 minutes? Thank you!
Hey guys I just made it to Space NK Ndulge Deluxe! Is anybody here also a deluxe status? What awesome perks have you got? I know I get $10 per every $100, but besides that what other things should I look for? Thanks!
Sorry if this has been asked before but I got the coupon packet for becoming VIB. It says that you get a custom makeover with no purchase necessary. Yet when I did my appointment it said I have to spend the $50. Do I have to spend the money or can I just show them the card I got?
I purchased a Make Up For Ever concealer two weeks ago in store and went to return it in store today. I only used it once and it did not suit my skin. I did not have a receipt, but after reviewing the Returns and Exchanges policy for Sephora Canada I went to return it in store because the policy says that the product can be looked up in the system. When I reached the cashier, she told me that she could only do that if I provided my email or had a Beauty Insider card where my purchase history would go. This is not stated anywhere in the Returns and Exchanges policies online, and I would really appreciate it if someone could clear this up for me. The concealer was a little expensive, and I would like to know if I can still return it (maybe to a different store?) because the policy does not state that I needed to have provided my email. Looking at other people's questions along the same topic, I was not asked for ID either. Thanks.
I was shocked!! This girl wanted to swatch the sweet peach next to another palette but the samplers weren't next to eachother. I watched her open a brand new peach palette and swatch over 5 colors!!! I really hope she bought it!! I have intense allergies, and if someone were to swatch something I buy and have had contact with one of my allergens... I'd be in big trouble!!
I did some googling and seen that Sephora does makeovers or whatever for purchases of 50 dollars or more. Is this true? I'm a late 20s MtF transwoman who wants nothing more than to see if it's actually possibly to turn my ugly man face into a somewhat decent looking ladies face before I go through the trouble of starting HRT and buying the super expensive things...
Why is it that almost every time I step into a Sephora store, I encounter at least 2 rude employees? It's come to the point where I research what I need before going in to a store so I do not have to ask an associate for help. They always seem so disinterested in helping, and unhappy in general. I have complained twice about the same store, which is saying a lot, as I shouldn't have even had to complain once. Anyone else have these bad experiences often?
I placed an order on Oct 14 and got that delivered on the 16th. One of the product, I tried to use and love it but it is really not for me. I used very gently. I was wondering what the return policy is like? It says within 30days of purchase -would it be date of purchase for online order or date received? Thanks!!
so I spent a fortune on the youth to the people moisturizer and face wash, and I think it's breaking me out. My cheeks are covered by pimples and spots and whatnot. But I never, never have this kind of problem with skincare, especially with such a product with so much amazing ingredient. The problem is, I took advantage of the 20% off sale, and bought heaps of products from youth to the people as my skincare for the next whole year. Now that i suspect the moisturizer is breaking me out, i need to exchange the moisturizer for other product. Since the purchase was made during the vibr sale, and I got everything 20% off, do I get the same value of the exchange as the original of the product or the 0.8*the original value?
So I had a shocking experience at a Sephora Inside JC Penny... I had purchased a Kat Von D eyeshadow palette at the Sephora inside JC Penny and because it was in my suitcase when I was traveling it broke. I went back to that Sephora and asked them to exchange it for a replacement. I didn't have my receipt but they were able to look at my beauty insider account (surprising that they even accepted that because they always give me problems). Apparently it had exceeded their "return policy" of 45 days by about 15-20 days and that's when I heard the most shocking thing ever - if I wanted to exchange the broken eyeshadow palette with a new one (exactly the same!) I would have to pay an additional $16!!! "WHAT? I have already paid for it" I told the cashier and she gave me the most disturbing look. I asked her "You do not have the same return policy with the rest of the Sephora stores?" and her answer "No we do not - but sometimes it is up to the manager's discretion". She didn't of course offer to bring the manager of the JC Penny store to assess this and throughout the whole encounter she had a terrible attitude! I am never again visiting a Sephora Inside JC Penny - I am a valued customer and I refuse to be treated with a dismissive attitude. I went to a regular Sephora - and told them the story - and they immediately helped me without a problem! SO WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THESE SEPHORAs if they do not offer the same benefits/qualities/experiences with the rest of the Sephora stores???
Just had the worst experience ever with Jcp Sephora, not only did they not accept my Sephora gift card, but pricing was totally different. I showed the associate the item I wanted and the price, but clearly she ignored me, and had me swipe my card at Jcp price. Sad to say the DM was in the store and I have noticed the customer service declining tremendously. Sephora, please train these Jcp associates to be more like the store associates. Will not shop at another JCP Sephora ever again.
So today I made a make over reservation by phone but I have yet to receive a confirmation email. My account also doesn't say I have any appointments. Have any of you guys had this problem before? What should I do?
At the 20% off sale, a girl bought plenty of things and got a few gift with purchases. A few days ago, I saw a mini YSL mascara in the YSl section and asked if it was part of a kit. The sales girl told me its a gift with purchase. When i got to cash, I asked about it and was given it but my question is, how do you know about this? The drawer she opened had at least 6 other GWP. I have never received GWP while in Sephora and its not advertised on the website or through emails.
Today I asked my bf to purchase a couple things for me in store since the items that I want are available in his city and not in mine. I sent a screenshot of my vib card and he forgot to use it. So, he never got the discount nor the points. I'm just wondering if there is any way to redeem my points and avail for the discount?
