Hi! I was wondering what people thought about sephora counter makeovers? Is it good? bad? What other places do you prefer? I'm looking for a natural look, not to dramatic. Thanks![]()

Hello makeupaddict121!
I KNOW you will be in great hands in a Sephora store! I used to work in one as an artist so trust me, we go through extensive training to give everyone the perfect look! ![]()
It's best to have an idea of what kind of look you want (or don't want!) and let your artist know that. If you are open to colors, want to stick to neutrals, daytime or nighttime look, let them know and don't be shy! ![]()
You can learn more about our express services and setting up an appointment at your local store by clicking here.
I hope this can help you and have fun!

Hi emmy707,
There is normally a $50 fee that the appointment will "cost" but that you can use to spend on products instead. I recommend that you contact your store beforehand to set up an appointment and get more specifics for that particular location. You can view our store locator here. Hope this helps! ![]()

Hi temriamarie,
I used to work at one of those and you are usually safe if you go to someone who has the training and makeup knowledge but keep in mind those are often not free either. You are always welcome to contact your local Sephora to make an appointment if you would like a makeup consultation there as well. ![]()

I think if you explain to the Sephora MUA that you are looking for a very natural look, s/he will probably do his or her best to work with you
Be sure to check with your store for availability, too.
