Sampling products?

I shop in my local Sephora store quite often, as I work only a few shops down in the mall... Sometimes it can be very busy and crowded in there and most of the time I run in there when I'm on my 15 minutes break. Whenever I would like to sample a product I always find a Sales Associate to help me, but when it's very  busy it can take a lot longer to find someone to help. Last time I was in there I wanted to get a sample of a foundation to try and no one was around to help me so I took a sample jar myself from the little application stations they have set up all over. As soon as I started putting a few drop of foundation into the jar I was approached by two sales associates immediately and not in a friendly "may we help you?" manner.. I felt bad, and haven't returned since then. What exactly is the policy with sampling? I always ask someone to help but in this case no one was there....

Great question ladies! You are always welcome to help yourself to hygienically testing products on your store visit. :smileyhappy: If you need a custom sample to take home with you, it's best to ask a Castmember for assistance as some stores may have different practices for making samples.

@dollypeach- Sorry to hear you didn't have the best experience on your last visit. If you only have 15 minutes to pop in on a break, try calling the store in the morning before it gets busy to ask a Castmember to make and set aside a sample you can quickly pick up. If you spot something while dropping by for a quick visit and no one is available, consider returning later when it's not a rush, or after your shift when you have a bit more time. Hope that helps!
