Hey guys! I am looking for both an AM & PM multitasker. Me: I'm 31 and finally taking my skincare seriously. I have combo, acne-prone skin. I take spironolactone to keep my breakouts at bay and use Retin A periodically. I also use my Clarisonic at least once/day which really helped aid in getting rid of the periodic peeling from the retinol use. My concerns: I have scarring/hyperpigmentation, mild acne every now and then (hormonally), and uneven tone/dullness. I'm looking for an anti-aging compondent too, if possible. I have a deep crease in my forehead and 11's that I've been using Perricone MD's Acyl-Glutathione on, which has been helping a bit. I'm not blown away by that line and have consequently ordered Dr. Dennis Gross' A-B extra st. peel to maybe help lessen the depth of the creases. Seeking: For AM, I like the idea of Sunday Riley's Good Genes but its a lot of money for me. I'm in search of a similar product, preferably with SPF. For PM: I've been trying both Ole Henriksen's Invigorating Night Treatment and REN's Wake Wonderful Night-Time Facial. Because I've been alternating them, I'm not sure which is working better (dumb move, I know. I got impatient). Can anyone attest to either of these or suggest something that may have worked better for you? (I did read most of the reviews on these but am not wowed) I'd love input & opinions. I'm willing to try just about anything! I prefer more natural products that don't have hydroquinone, harsh sulfates, parabens, et al in them but sometimes its (relatively) unavoidable. Thanks so much everyone!!
Okay, here goes. I'm watching Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer........alone......not a child in sight, just my inner one. 😉 Hmmmm....just had a thought, should it be Rudolph the ROUGE Nosed Reindeer? Who's next? Spill it y'all.
Hello, all! I ask for your expertise, or at least your suggestions! Apologies in advance for the detailed post. I'm attempting to develop a skincare routine that works for me. Background: This past summer, my skin was really bad. Bumpy, rough, combo/oily, giant pores, lots of redness, hyperpigmentation, and itchiness. I figured my skin just sucked but then I started reading about moisture barriers and irritants like fragrance & realized it was the products I was using that sucked. Lots of menthol, fragrance, and exfoliation. So I scrapped everything in August & started using CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser to cleanse and the moisturizing cream as a moisturizer. My skin improved dramatically and my oil production was under control. I occasionally used Clearasil Daily Clear Hydra-Blast Oil-Free Pads to exfoliate and it kept the bumps under control. I kept using them until they ran out just because i didn't want them to go to waste. Occasional charcoal mask here & there. Fast forward to now. I feel like my pores are super noticeable again so I tried Neutrogena's Pore Refining Exfoliating Cleanser like 2x a week for a while. Safe to say my face didn't like it. that combined with cold office air & cold, dry weather. My skin looks sad & bumpy so naturally the foundation I've been using for months now looks terrible. I also tried Dr. Brandt's PoreDermabrasion™ Pore Perfecting Exfoliator and it did nothing for me. I need some type of exfoliant and maybe a stronger moisturizer? I just need to be pointed in the right direction please. Here's the deal now: Combo/dry skin Large pores Hormonal acne Sensitive-ish skin AM: Wash with CeraVe, only use a washcloth gently when my skin looks flakey. Moisturize with CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion. (massage into skin) L'Oreal Revitalift Complete Anti-Wrinkle and Firming Moisturizer SPF 30 Day Lotion after that. (Figured I need SPF plus I'm 23 & have wrinkles so I should deal with that too. Been using for a month) Apply foundation with real techniques sponge. (L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte) PM: Remove makeup with almond oil Wash with Cerave Moisturize with moisturizing lotion Pat on tarte Maracuja oil where I'm most dry Any recommendations, both product & otherwise, are welcome. I know I should apply serums, essences, etc but I'm trying to keep it as simple as possible. I feel like my face can't handle too much. Give me all your knowledge! Thank you
Ok so I have this friend that is extra white. Her skin is so white. She always uses Bronzer or self tanner but it leaves residue on her face and she comes to school orange. I love her but she is so delicate and I don't want to hurt her feelings. So I plan on buying her a self tanner or bronzer that won't leave spots of orange on her face. Any help or suggestions. ----Julissa
HI. I am looking for a good moisturizer for the winter. I have combination skin (oily around my T zones). I want something for uneven skin tone and something to give me a glow. With the weather change I have noticed my skin take a turn and it doesn't have that glow that it once had. I am noticing tiny tiny pimples, randomly, on my face. What's a good day moisturizer and night moisturizer I can use with my type of skin? Thanks!
Hi, I've had a really bad case of eczema on my face and the skin doesn't seem to be getting any better. I normally have really dry and sensitive skin and am looking for a good face wash and cleanser. I've tried a number of different drug store brands, but haven't been very successful. A lot of them actually burn my skin because it's so sensitive. I would love any suggestions on good creams and cleansers! Thanks
All of a sudden about two weeks ago I've been developing tiny bumps on my forehead and one side of my temple area. What could be causing this? For my skincare routine I only use philosophy's purity face wash with my clarisonic mia 2 with the normal brush head & I wear smashbox acne primer or soemtimes bare minerals primer and makeup forever hd foundation. Could any of those be cauing my problem or could it be the fact that the cleanser is getting rid of bacteria thus causing the breakouts to occur?
Hey Everyone! I'm 35 and recently saw my dermatologist who prescribed a retinoid for anti-aging and a bit of acne. My breakouts are limited to that time of the month with the main concern being treating and preventing fine line and wrinkles. After using the retinoid about 3 times / week for a couple of weeks I'm experiencing peeling, flaky skin. I know this is a normal side-effect but I'm looking for a moisturizer to treat and prevent this that is still suitable for my oily skin. As far as my current routine, I have a 2 step toning process. Either FAB facial radiance pads or Biologique Recherche P50 and Caudalie Grape Water. On nights when I'm not using the Rx retinoid, my serum is Sunday Riley Good Genes. I moisturize with Josie Maran Argan Oil Light. Apologies for the long post but I'd appreciate any moisturizer recommendations that you all have! Thanks!
Hello!! I recently visited a Sephora store and I was looking for something for the night that will serve as preventative for fine lines and etc. Now I am only 25 but I have been using Caudalie Detox Night Oil and I love it. I got a sample of Black Pine Antiwrinkle Firming & Lifting Night Cream and I love it! The smell is amazing and I feel like it brightened my skin and the texture is smoother and it just looks better. Can I actually use it? And should I try it with the other Korres Night products?

Hello lovelies! A friend of mine is in the market for a new contour palette and is stuck deciding between the ABH Cream Contour and the Smashbox Contour Kit. Her Color IQ is 1y07 and in foundation she wears either NARS in Mont Blanc or Armani Silk Foundation in 5.25. Can anyone weigh in?
I am 15 years old and for the last year, my skin has been getting worse. I have been struggling to find products and routines that actually work. My acne has become one of my most self aware flaws and I have a hard time being confident in my own skin when my skin looks bad. I have combination skin and a lot of acne in my T-zone and on my chin as well as blackheads and small bumps that I just can't get control of. I am in desperate need for products and routines that work. PLEASE HELP

Two years ago, I wrote an article on my blog called 'Chemicals Hiding in Your Beauty Products'. In the blog post, I mentioned that I would be staying away from the following: Dioxane and Quaternium-15 Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES) Parbens At the time, I went through all of my makeup products and threw out anything containing those ingredients - a lot of them had parabens. I know a lot has changed in the past two years and I'm wondering if there are other ingredients I should be avoiding as well. What do you ladies avoid?? Also, what is your favorite website for looking up ingredients if they aren't printed on the product itself?
Hey! I have oily, acne (I have moderate to severe acne) prone skin and I have quite a bit of scarring. I'm looking for a cleanser that'll help me. (I just bought the Foreo Luna, so I'd prefer recommendations compatible with it). I'm out of ideas, to be honest. I tried the Murad cleanser for a few months but it didn't seem to help :/ If y'all could recommend some cleansers/toners, I'd be grateful. Thanks!
My boyfriend would like a nice hair styling product for Christmas. He has short hair that is on the thicker side and likes something with flexible hold. He doesn't want anything greasy or that will transfer down to his face and make his forhead and face look greasy. He doesn't do much with his hair. Sometimes he flips up the front. He really just wants something that will make his hair look neat and polished but not greasy and not like it's glued down like firm gels or other products. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I'm looking for some advice on skincare for my 12 year old son. His skin is very oily and he's starting to get some pimples. I really want to start him off right and not use something super harsh on his skin. I'm also looking for simple so he will use it! Lol Thanks so much in advance!
Hello! Thanks so much for the awesome customer support! you guys are really on top of stuff and it is truly amazing !! sorry for asking-- just made 2 more purchases online and was wondering if I can get it updated on my canadian points..? Also was wondering, how far away am I for hitting VIB or Rouge status again..? Im trying to keep track of my points and from what I calculated I should be VIB for (2015) but it still says I'm a Beauty Insider..? Just wondering how many points do I need to get my VIB status back for 2016..? Thanks so much !
Okay, is it just me or has anyone else been unable to access their love list lately? If I click on the ❤, it takes me to the mobile page and I'm signed out. Sign in, but still no go. If I go to my basket it shows the mobile basket, where you can't view samples or love list like normal. Is it my tablet? Been trying over and over, even if sign out and all Sephora tabs closed. Any ideas? So frustrating.
