I've tried all kinds. I don't have dark circles (most of the time) but I do have bags under my eyes. I've found that under eye cream seems to work better than a concealer (probably because I don't have circles as I mentioned before). I am 30 years old and have slight wrinkles so I want something that won't settle into my wrinkles. I'd also like something that will actually last longer than a couple of hours or something I can reapply over makeup. Any advice? TIA
Hey everyone! I was just wondering if anyone has used the sleeping mask from the Sephora Collection. I want to know, because the instructions say to rinse off any excess in the morning, if people dont wash their faces when they wake up. I wash my face with my clarisonic every morning or else I feel gross, so I dont know if youre supposed to do that with these masks or not. I dont think I would be able to not wash my face in the morning.
Hi! My skin turned flaky and looks "old" after make over in sephora. She used nars under eyes, than givenchy make up, then laure mercier brightening powder and then spray to hold make up. After 15 minutes I looked at the mirror and my skin under eyes turned flaky lizard-like. Why? By myself I usually use only lancome visionary primer and then make up. I'm 27 years old so my skin naturally doesn't look flaky. I did exfoliating with clarins just before I went for make up and then used lamcome moisturizing day cream.( pink one). How do I get rid of dark circles and don't have this flaky look? Is my skin dry? Or too many products?
Hi, I do root touchups monthly to cover my grays... which rita hazan shine gloss can i use (brassiness, brown gloss, clear gloss? my hair is black and fine... Ok everyone my face was clearing up and I hadn't gotten breakouts and all of a sudden I have been getting huge breakouts, all over my cheeks and jawline. I don't know what to use whats good what works for you acne spot treatments etc ?!?!
I have never posted before but I am kind of freaking out right now. Two nights ago I used a sample packet of Sunday Riley Good Genes.. I used it as a serum on clean skin overnight. I dont have overly sensitive skin, I use all the glam glow products, my clarisonic, etc. However I woke up with terribly bumpy, rash like skin all over my face that feels burning and itchy. I assume the rash will go away, (hopefully very soon!) but now I am terrified to use any new face products (And I have a tonne of packets and deluxe samples to get through!) Anyone have any advice as to what ingredients in Sunday Riley I may have reacted to? This has never happened before with other products. Any help is MUCH appreciated!! Spoiler (Highlight to read)
I'm new to these boards, so I'm sorry if this has already been covered! I'm a bit overwhelmed trying to pick a morning/nightly skincare routine. There are so many different products you can use, but what do you think is actually necessary? I've also noticed that a lot of you ladies will only use some products every few nights, why is that? And how do you determine which products are not for daily use? I have normal to dry skin, and I break out on my chin when I don't wash my brushes every week. I'm 27 so I've started to worry more about anti aging products. Right now, I wash my face at night only, I have a serum I use in the morning as well as night (is this necessary?), and I use a day cream or night cream. Am I missing anything?
Hi, I bought the facial peel online and when it came in the mail and my mom looked at it (she's home, I'm away for school)- she's used the product in the past too, so she noticed there was something off with the consistency and smell. I'm hoping something can be done about this. thanks
Fyi, I just stopped by ulta and saw that they have Tony Moly masks in stock. The associate said they'll be getting more products soon! She's not sure when it'll show up online! :-D I love their panda collection. It's hard to find the panda eye patches but they work wonders!
I recently have been having horrible flare ups and my skin is very sentimental to harsh acne treatments. I tried the Clinique acne three step solutions and it made my skin a lot worse. I currently use Fresh soy cleanser in the morning and Purity 3 in 1 cleanser at night, Lush tea tree toner, Clinique spot treatment and try out various lotions. Any recommendations that works better? I don't work well with salicylic acid cleansers
Help! Im going into 9th grade and am looking for a better makeup/skincare routine, as of right now i wear an elf primer, maybelline acne fighting bb cream, a crappy concealer, and a smooth minerals press powder, any ideas as to what i can use to cover the occassional breakouts (and a better concealer) ps- i have a fair skintone (im a redhead) and a normal skin type
Looking for advice for a new skincare routine. My routine since I was a teen has been face wash, moisturizer, sunscreen and drink lots of water. I've never invested much and my skin has always been fine, until now. Recently I've noticed a few lines on my forehead and redness/ruddiness on my cheeks (next to my nose only). I've trolled the BT boards and am totally overwhelmed! I'd love some advice. I have normal to dry skin that is sensitive to strong products. I'd like to lose these forehead wrinkles. I've become obsessed with checking out other people's foreheads ever since I noticed mine. Please help!
Am I going crazy or does it seem like everything is slowly becoming OOS on Sephora.ca. Pretty much nearly the whole website looks like this on my computer. The Burberry makeup still had lots of items in stock last night and now today all the makeup is OOS. Same with many other brands. Any other Canadians seeing this on their Sephora too? Accidentally posted under skincare/acne LOL oops.
I was just getting ready to purchase my usual Josie Maran body butter and to my surprise there was five new scents, amazing! Have any of you tried these new scents? Are you loving them? I'm ordering each one. Bad on the wallet but great on my hands lol. Do tell? Donna
Today I went to the Houston Galleria for a bit of Nordie shopping and Ritz sight seeing. I got pulled into a Vine Vera boutique and was suckered....ahem, I mean....sold on their exfoliator, moisturizer and eye serum. The price tag was pretty hefty and if it wasn't for the BOGO which brought it closer to my level I would have laughed myself out the door. My problem...in all my skin care search I have never heard of this brand. Is anyone familiar with it or did I just become a very expensive guinea pig?
Back in May I purchased the Kat Von D foundation and tried it one time. It broke me out but I figured it that time of the month so blamed it on that. So I continued to use my Makeup HD product.. Well I ran out last week and this week finally started to use the Kat Von d and even with primer and setting spray it will not look right. Its way to shiny and the color is too light on my face, plus I broke out again. So it’s been over 90 days since I purchased it, would I still be able to return it t to the store?Anyone know? thanks!!
I've recently bought a Clarisonic Mia 2 and been using the acne brush and cleanser, I only use it once a night and was wondering what moisturizer I should use to help clear my acne and acne scars? I also been noticing some dryness on my forehead so I need a moisturizer that will help.
So I'm looking for a light-to-medium coverage foundation that won't irritate my skin. I currently use a BB cream by Maybelline that's okay, but I wouldn't mind spending more on a product that doesn't irritate my skin. I also wonder if adding a primer would hurt or help in my situation...
I found a bottle of PTR Retinol Fusion PM that I had stored in a cool, dark spot a year ago. Dumb me!! Could I still use it, or do I need to suck it up and spend money to buy a new bottle? Thanks for your help!
Hi Everyone! So, I have a wedding to attend this weekend. I recently went tanning a few times to get some color before. (I know it's not good) and it has caused my oil/combo skin to be a bit more dry in some places. Well here is why I need your help! I have been looking so dry on my cheeks and chin under my makeup. While my T-Zone is still on the oily side! What will help me ASAP. I started using, The Regimen Kit Combination/Oily, by Mario Badescu last night. I used a night cream moisturizer last night by this brand also called Seaweed Night Cream to help get moisture into my skin, it felt somewhat better. BUT when I put on my marc jacobs foundation and make up for ever smoothing primer this morning I felt like you could still see the dryness on my cheek and unevenness. & I am still unsure of a primer. I haven't found my HG! I have acne marks in my skin and indents on my cheeks/forehead that causes it not too look very smooth. I hope I can find some products that I will fall in love with! I need to look amazing for the wedding! Thank you in advance!
