Products to target wrinkles/smile lines
I'm 28 and have started to see the smile line wrinkle around my mouth area which is getting more and more noticeable. Just wondering if its possible to help diminish it with antiaging skincare products. What products have worked for you that you would recommend. I've listed my current skincare routine below but am wondering whether I should incorporate more antiaging products into it.    Daytime routine: -Hada Labo whitening toner (japanese brand) -Shiseido White Lucent Brightening Emulsion mixed with 2-3 drops of the Algenist Anti-Aging Repairing Oil -Kiehls Avocado Eyecream -Kiehls Ultra Facial Cream (if my face is feeling dry) -Sunscreen (usually a japanese one that I have lying around)   Nighttime routine: -double cleanse with a cleansing oil then use my clarisonic with Purity Made Simple cleanser -PTR Retinol Fusion PM (only use this 2x per week) -Shiseido Benefiance Wrinkle Resist Night Emulsion mixed with 2-3 drops of the Nude ProGenius Treatment Oil -Kiehls Ultra Facial Cream -Algenist Eye Renewal Balm

Is my eye cream too irritating?
Strange question... I've been using a new eye serum for about 2 weeks that was recommended by an SA.  It is Clarins Active Lift and is supposed to firm and diminish dark circles.   every night I've used it, I notice almost immediately that the area just edging where I've patted it on starts to flush quite red.  It doesn't itch, rash or raise in any way, so I just want to know if I should be concerned?

Favorite moisturizing sheet or gel masks for dehydrated skin?
With the temperature dropping in the East Coast, I've been regularly using sheet masks to combat my increasingly dehydrated skin. Even though my skin is oily year-round, it still gets irritated and flaky from retinoid use so sheet masks have long been a necessary staple of mine. I normally use them at night once a week before applying my retinoid and the instant glow (albeit, short-term) they provide is amazing. Also, for special events when I'm willing to spend more time dolling up, using sheet masks before makeup allows my foundation to apply much smoother (less cakey, longer wear time).   I listed some of my favorites below but am always on the lookout for more accessible (but affordable) ones in the states. Have you used any of them before?  Please share your favorites!   Favorite Masks   1. Neogence Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Mask ($16.50 for 6 masks) This Taiwanese mask is my favorite out of all the masks I tried - it's super hydrating and does not irritate my skin even on days when it's inflamed from overzealous retinoid application.   2. HadaLabo Gokujyun Paper Mask ($10.20 for 4 sheets) HadaLabo is a Japanese brand that is very well known for it's moisturizing line.    3. My Beauty Diary Aloe Mask ($13.50 for 10 sheets) (Taiwan) My Beauty Diary offers over 40 different kinds of sheet mask and is the most affordable sheet mask I know of that moisturizes. The fact that it's sold in Wal-mart online is a plus as well.   4. Base Formula Aloe Vera & Seaweed Gel ($13.50 for 16.9 oz) (UK based brand) This isn't a sheet mask but I find the effects comparable, if not better, when applied on the skin for 40 minutes or longer. However, I get lazy and don't use this as often as I would like since it requires more time and washing off. (This mask is particularly soothing after a facial)       Masks I have heard good things about but haven't had the chance to try yet:   1. Tony Moly Natural Pulp Essence Sheet Mask - Hyaluronic Acid   2. The Saem Urban Eco Harakeke Mask Sheet   3. Innisfree It's Real Green Tea Mask   4. Annie's Way Jelly Mask   P.S. I'm not too picky with clay mask - both drugstore and department store brands work the same for me so I just stick with my Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask.

Soon-to-Be Bride in Need of New Skin Routine
Hello! I am getting married in two months and would like to do something about my acne-prone skin before the big day. I have normal/dry skin that is prone to frequent breakouts and redness. Right now I am using a simple skincare routine, I wash my face with a Neutrugena cleanser every night and apply a medicated (10% acid) creme given to me by my doctor every night to my acne. This results in dry and flaking skin and increased redness. I am looking for a new skin care regimen and product line that will help my skin to glow and look great for my wedding date. Do you know of any products that are fast acting and will help a desperate bride out? Thanks!

Attention skin experts!!
Hi there, I was wondering if any of you can recommend a silicone-free moisturizer for sensitive skin? I am extremely prone to blemishes and now that the weather has been getting colder, I am in need of hydrating my skin. My skin type is combination, and I have mild acne on my cheeks/chin as well as hyper pigmentation. I was also thinking of trying a serum instead of a moisturizer to see if it would be more effective. Please feel free to suggest products that will help me combat acne as well as moisturizer my skin!

The BEST eye cream's for treating dark circles ?.
Hello everyone,   So I know that this topic has been covered many times before. However I am wanting your help to narrow down the BEST options for an effective eye cream. I've been using the " Bliss Youth As We Know It " eye cream for a while. I can't say that I have found it to be impressive by any means. I'm looking for a cream/gel that has ingredients that are truly going to help make my dark circles less visible. I don't have super dark circles, but they are fairly visible and while I do use corrector & concealer to conceal them when I wear makeup, I do want to treat them as best I can. If you can give me your top picks or give me some ideas on what to look for when shopping that would be great. I believe that if your going to spend a decent amount of money it's going to be on something that has results. I'm not one to be suckered into trying just anything after all :-). Thanks everyone !.

Glossier Prod.'s?
I was wondering if anyone has tried out any of the Glossier items? I am curious a/b the GLOSSIER PRIMING MOISTURIZER?   It sounds like a dream, best of both worlds! You get a good moisturizer (that actually moisturizers) & then kinda like a "Blur" + Semi-Tint" to go along w/ it. They sell a tint too. Anywho it has Hyaluronic Acid in it and a butch of other goodies to combat redness, dryness, ruddiness, etc. I don't have a beauty book & can't remember where it is on the skin tip.   It's dermatologist tested & hypo ( and all that jazz). I was thinking about trying it, but since I just read about it ( and haven't heard anyone talk about it ), I am skeptical / afraid I suppose.   SO, what do you think / know about it? I just bought some of the Belli Anti Blemish (Lactic Acid) face wash from Ulta & some Mario B. Rose Spray & I am trying to check out a diff. Moisturizer (like maybe GLOSSIER) or maybe the E. Lauder EE Cream & was wanting some suggestions. I am gonna keep the new bottle of Clinique Tinted Moisturizer (old but goodie) but I am trying to amp up yet simplify (time wise) my skin care routine. I have a lot going on at the moment. Thanks in Advance

Skin becoming sensitive to a product -- could this be temporary?
I've been using Fresh's Seaberry Facial Oil for about a year now and have loved it so much. However, it looks like recently that I've become sensitized to it. (I took it out of my rotation of skincare products, and the eczema on my face is clearing up.) I still have 75% of the bottle left, so I really would love this to just be a way for my facial skin to ask for a break.    I have an appt with my derm scheduled (but it will be a few weeks). In the meantime, I wanted to see if anyone else had experienced this with a product and was it temporary or permanent?  If it was temporary, how long of a break did you give your skin before successfully trying it again?

Use primer with tinted moisturizer?
I use Laura Mercier's oil free tinted moisturizer because the color matches great and I LOVE the lighter-than-foundation coverage.   My one concern with it, though, is that it can get a little oily throughout the day. I always have blotters handy, so I just sort of use those, but is there a better way to go here, such as a primer?   Do you recommend using a primer with tinted moisturizer? Does that help? Or does it go against the lightweight feeling of using something like a tinted moisturizer in the first place?

Neck Creams - Are they really that different from Face Creams?
I wish I had paid attention to my neck earlier in the game, but now I'm making up for lost time. I've always taken great care of my face, and I'm happy to say, that at age 59, it has paid off. But my neck is showing my age and I'd really like to do something about that!   Short of surgery (not an option), I've been using my nighttime heavy duty moisturizers on my neck am and pm, but I'm wondering if it's time to invest in a neck cream. Do they really make a difference? How are they different from face creams? My neck is showing some redness and some horizontal creasing (hope that makes sense) so I'd really like to find a cream that would reduce the redness and help firm up the area a bit.   Has anyone used neck creams that have helped them? Expensive or drugstore, I'm open to suggestions! Thanks!!
