Hi everyone, I am trying to decide what peel to buy. I am looking for something to smooth my rough skin texture; I also have a few acne scars and sun spots. After reading reviews, I am trying to decide between the following but am open to other suggestions. I am trying to stay around $50 and under. -REN glycol lactic radiance renewal mask -Murad Intensive-C radiance peel -Ole Henriksen lemon strip flash peel Thanks for any advice you may have!
So I've recently posted much about my skin care concerns and asked for suggestions (bumpy like texture, some discoloration, some acne clogged pores) I've been using adapalene cream prescribed by my derm for awhile and it's not really showing much results and leaves me with dry flaky or irritated skin........ ive been looking into and very curious about ditching the adapalene and trying glycolic acid- I'm looking for product recommendations and any experiences with this I currently use fresh soy cleanser, dr jart water fuse gel,sea berry oil thanks!!!
Not sure how many of you are interested in this line, but it's huge on Instagram. Many people are ordering from them, myself included, for a dupe of LC Cashmere. Well an eagle eyed IG user found a sexual harassment lawsuit against them. And it's seriously gross. I can't post the link here but you can search easily online for John Davler Inc. lawsuit. The VP in question is named Christina Yang. You can also find the link on my IG page. My username is spookifyme. I really try to support small companies, but I cannot tolerate this type of behavior. The lawsuit is ongoing, they're still trying to wiggle their way out and even tried to make their insurance company responsible. The courts said, uhhh no. I'm taking my money elsewhere. Way too many other companies out there.
Going to Vegas and I have my Cart already to check out here for some glam- however- I am looking for a lip gloss that will give me that nude ultra shiny look. Pinkish ok. I have fair skin, red hair, blue eyes... My younger sister- who looks older than me- likes to tell me my skin is sallow. I guess she thinks I am yello. LOL. Any advice? I do use buxom in Emma and it doesn't give me the shine I want. Am I looking rfor two products or can it be found in one?
The Extraordinary Rewards issue got me thinking, is declining customer service on a Sephora level or mainly contributed to the parent company LVMH? Sephora aside, I’ve had horrid customer service experiences with Louis Vuitton in the past. A quick Google search for “LVMH poor customer service” resulted in 152,000 results with titles such as “Louis Vuitton – Worst customer service” and “Disgusting service from Tag Heuer service center!!” Just curious what others opinions are on this.
What primer would be best for someone who has sensitive skin that breaks out easily? I tried smashbox and my face turned red and laura mercier made me break out heavily. I also tried bare minerals but didn't see a change in makeup lasting.
Hi everyone! Just wanted to share some swatches and photos of Shade 005, available tomorrow on Sephora.com. We'll be checking back later today, so feel free to ask any questions about the shade! We're calling this one Lavender Thistle - it's a hazy lilac!
What's your nightly, skincare routine? Feel free to ask me any questions about any of the products I use or reasons why I use them! About me: Soon to be 28, Upstate NY climate, combo skin that's becoming more "normal". Night routine: Cleanser: I switch it up between GlamGlow "Youthcleanse", Ole Henriksen and Cliniques green bottle. I use to use Murad and I loved it! I think I'm going to buy some more because I don't think I quite using it for any reason. Essence: Yes,this is an Asian skincare step, feel free to ask if you're not sure what I'm talking about. Missha's "Time Revolution". Toner: Biologique Recherché famous "Lotion P50" , phenol free version. When I feel like I need more Salicylic acid, I will apply Clinique's "Acne Solutions Clarifying Toner" on top of the BR "lotion P50" Serum: Algenist "Genius C Serum" around eyes and whole forehead. Ole Henriksen "Truth Serum" on my cheeks, chin and nose. Algenist= super expense but awesome with the wrinkles/lines. Ole Henriksen- super plumping, evens out skin tone, but not great for lines . Retinol: 2-3x a week I skip the Genius C Serum and use Paula's Choice "1% retinol" mixed with my moisturizer. I read somewhere that the Retinol and Vitamin C Serum work effectively at different PH levels, so in order to not cancel them out, you shouldn't use them together. No idea if this is true but I'm not going to experiment when Algenist's Genius serum is $115 an oz. Moisturizer: Cerave PM- hyaluronic acid, ceramides and niacinimide- yeah, all for less than $15 a bottle. LOVE. In the winter, I layer Nature Republics "Super Aqua Max Combination Watery Cream" on top of my moisturizer. I will also use this alone during the summer time when I need cooling hydration.
I have never had problem skin until recently. I do think hormone changes are a main cause, but I need advice on a great face wash. My skin is normal to dry and I get occasional blemishes around my menstrual cycle, and I almost always have cystic type areas with no head on them. I do have an exfoliator I use regularly, but I need a daily face wash to not dry me out and help with my issue! Thanks!
I am in love with Caudalie's new Instant Detox Mask and I am really interested in trying their new Moisturizing Mask! So far, the moisturizing mask only has 1 review. I'm wondering if any of you have tried it yet and what your thoughts are? I, personally, am worried about it causing breakouts. I would like to use this mask when I'm feeling particularly dry like after a day in the sun or when a heavy dose of makeup has sucked the life out of my face. During the winter, I would layer Nature Republic's "Super Aqua Max Combination Watery Cream" over my moisturizer and never had any issues. Now that it's summer I apply it to a bare face and get loads of cool hydration. About me: I have normal to combination skin. I'm prone to breakouts when it comes to moisturizers but I don't have any issues with Cerave PM moisturizer or the aforementioned Nature Republic. So far, my skin has been great the last three months
Hello, I'm 34 with fairly normal skin. It used to be oily but has changed in past few years to normal (and VERY slightly sensitive, though not enough to really be a concern.) What I'm looking for is something to address my under-eye wrinkles which have developed in the past year. I've had forehead wrinkles for quite some time but recently saw lines looking like crows feet and some wrinkling that goes from under eye are to top of cheeks. It's kind of hard to explain, sorry! I also have a lot of dark spots from sun damage. I do not have issues with puffy eyes or dark circles. I have used retinols and glycolic acids on & off infrequently over the past 10 years, as well as light moisturizers. What I've used so far in the past 2 years to address my current issues have not worked well: Peter Thomas Roth Camu Camu brightening mask (great hydration but did nothing for my dark spots and wrinkles) Philosophy renewed hope in a jar: did not minimize wrinkles at all, Ole Henriksen 3 little wonders: making my under eye area VERY dry and seeming to deepen the wrinkles there. Long story short, I need something to hydrate my under-eye area and give me anti-aging benefits, and would love a multi-tasking product for my dark spots as well. Any suggestions are welcome and thank you so much for reading my long post!
Watching YouTube videos I heard they help with fine lines on the forehead and help clear skin. But my question is what size to get? I have this horrid habit of crinkling my forehead and I want to try to lessen these creases as I am 30 years old. Already purchased a dermastamp.
I started using my Mia 2 in January but I switched to Proactiv on the first of March and haven't used my Mia 2 since - I'm afraid the little beads/rough texture of Proactiv's cleanser could harm it! Is it okay to use them together? Thanks!
I have very oily skin and always break out. I'm on an oral medication for my acne but I need some type of acne kit to wash my face with and have a daily routine. I have moderate acne, blackheads, and big pores. I was looking at the clinique acne solutions and murad one. Which one would you recommend? or something else?
Hi everyone, I have had dry, slightly combination skin (in that the t-zone is oilier, but not really that much). I've never had to deal with breakouts before. However, of late, I have been noticing that the t-zone pores look larger, and I end up having a few breakouts on my cheek as well. Am I overdoing the moisturizing/hydrating bit in my skincare routine? At night, I cleanse with the Ole Henriksen Pure truth cleanser, then with the Fresh Soy Cleanser. I then use the FAB radiance pads and then use Boscia's Tsubaki Beauty Oil and follow up with a hydrating night cream. Is that too much? Should I replace the Tsubaki beauty oil with another serum?
I normally have oily skin but for the last month my eyes have been really dry. The inner corner of my eye lid and the outer corner of my lash line stings, especially after washing my face. My inner eye lids also flakes if I don't put some kind of cream or oil on it. This hasn't happened to me before so I am not sure of the reasons why. I haven't changed my skincare routine other than using the Tarte C-brightener eye cream, but only after my eye started getting dry/ flaky/stingy. I need an eye cream I can use both on my lids & under eye to help moisturize my lids and under eye, to prevent it from flaking.
i am sufferring from acne for past 2-4 months. I have tried many beauty creams which promised a faster result, but everything went in vain. Now i want to know which was should i go, Natual cream, lotions or home remedies?
