I was wondering if anyone has tried out any of the Glossier items? I am curious a/b the GLOSSIER PRIMING MOISTURIZER? It sounds like a dream, best of both worlds! You get a good moisturizer (that actually moisturizers) & then kinda like a "Blur" + Semi-Tint" to go along w/ it. They sell a tint too. Anywho it has Hyaluronic Acid in it and a butch of other goodies to combat redness, dryness, ruddiness, etc. I don't have a beauty book & can't remember where it is on the skin tip. It's dermatologist tested & hypo ( and all that jazz). I was thinking about trying it, but since I just read about it ( and haven't heard anyone talk about it ), I am skeptical / afraid I suppose. SO, what do you think / know about it? I just bought some of the Belli Anti Blemish (Lactic Acid) face wash from Ulta & some Mario B. Rose Spray & I am trying to check out a diff. Moisturizer (like maybe GLOSSIER) or maybe the E. Lauder EE Cream & was wanting some suggestions. I am gonna keep the new bottle of Clinique Tinted Moisturizer (old but goodie) but I am trying to amp up yet simplify (time wise) my skin care routine. I have a lot going on at the moment. Thanks in Advance
I wish I had paid attention to my neck earlier in the game, but now I'm making up for lost time. I've always taken great care of my face, and I'm happy to say, that at age 59, it has paid off. But my neck is showing my age and I'd really like to do something about that! Short of surgery (not an option), I've been using my nighttime heavy duty moisturizers on my neck am and pm, but I'm wondering if it's time to invest in a neck cream. Do they really make a difference? How are they different from face creams? My neck is showing some redness and some horizontal creasing (hope that makes sense) so I'd really like to find a cream that would reduce the redness and help firm up the area a bit. Has anyone used neck creams that have helped them? Expensive or drugstore, I'm open to suggestions! Thanks!!
I was just wondering if any of you have used the BELLI Anti Blemish Face Wash consistently w/ great benefits from it ( I know they have it at Ulta & the single tube is S.O., and their site) ? I am not pregnant but I am having hormonal changes. I am having some breakouts & ( jaw line mainly but doesn't hurt or really turn red, etc.) & temperamental skin ( & I am going through a detox / Holistic health plan). I used a sample of it UST 1 time & loved the way my skin looked & felt instantly (& I am about out of my normal face wash). I looked into Juice Beauty but this seems like a better choice ( & price) for what I have going on ( hormonal imbalance & detox of body, etc. ). It has a bunch of research & screening behind it & it only has Lactic Acid instead of Glycolic, etc. I was also wondering other than the fact our bodies make this on it's own (Lactic Acid), what are the benefits w/ someone like my skin ( & detox)? Also, what is the difference in these acids when it comes to skin type / what's going on w/ skin? I have dry to norm. skin (more so dry but better), redness in cheeks (gotten better), " can be " sensitive skin, and hormonal changes. Any info would be greatly appreciated!
When my Fresh soy moisturizer ran out, I was so upset to find out that it had been discontinued. It worked so well for my combination/break-out prone skin. The weather is turning colder where I live, which is already starting to lead to dryness and breakouts for me. I'm definitely in need of a comparable replacement-- any suggestions?
Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone had already tried the Anew Vitale Night Cream from Avon ? https://www.avon.com/product/52189/anew-vitale-nig ht-cream I'd like to try it but I'd rather have some fedback before purchasing it. Many thanks for your help. Melissa
I was hoping to find the Bliss micro roller at Sephora! I heard good things about it! Anyone used other micro rollers like Derma Roller in the past? Which one(s) would you recommend? Care to share your experience%
I've been using an Eminence face wash for quite some time, but my current bottle is almost empty - so I'm thinking about trying something else. Does anyone have any thoughts on Omorovicza's Cleansing Foam? I know the line gets rave reviews in some circles, but I'm wondering if the Cleansing Foam is worth the $75 (Canadian). I'd love to know your experiences! Thank you.
I started using my clarisonic a month ago with the sensitive brush head, once a night. I developed small pimples on my forehead and cheeks about two weeks into it. Now, I have weird bumps just about all over my face that are slightly itchy. They seem to be under the skin everywhere. It's very upsetting being that some people are getting improved texture from the clarisonic and mine is horrible. I switched to the delicate brush two days ago but it feels just as rough and I haven't noticed a difference? Do you think these bumps are from irritation? Has this happened to any of you? Do any of you use the delicate brush and has it made a difference? PLEASE HELP
I AM 61 AND NEED HELP FOR FACE AND EYES. MY FACE LACKS RADIANCE AND MY EYES LOOK SUNKEN IN WITH NO RADIANCE, JUST DEEP DARK CIRCLES UNDERNEATH. NATURALLY AT MY AGE I AM CONCERNED WITH LINES AND WRINKLES. I HAVE VERY THIN LIPS WITH A LOT OF LINES AND WRINKLES ABOVE THE UPPER LIP. ANYTIME I HAVE A PICTURE TAKEN, WITH COMPLETE MAKE UP ON, MY FACE AND EYES LOOK EXTREMELY WHITE AND PALE. I AM DESPERATE TO FIND SKIN CARE AGING PRODUCTS IN ADDITION TO MAKE UP THAT WILL HELP. THANK YOU.
Happy Friday! I just saw on QVC that they have a set of 3 Clarisonic replacement brush heads for 44.00! (Look under "Friday Night Beauty") Also, the Todays' Special Value is a nice Clarisonic Plus kit with body brush attachment and a 3-piece Bliss Skincare set. I don't remember the exact price, but worth checking out.
My Dr's office has infrared saunas and I was wondering if anyone here has used them. What does it feel like? How long did you use one and did you see any benefits? For those will ask, infrared saunas are supposed to: - remove toxins through increased circulation and sweating - burns as many calories as 30 minutes of jogging - clears cellulite - reduces stress and fatigue - improves acne and appearance of wrinkles
My skin is very oily/combo and has large pores. I also have redness and hyper pigmentation all over my face. I've tried samples of both Murad's and Clinque's products, and none of them have stung my face. However, both are pretty expensive ($50~~~) and I don't want to buy both because a) too much money and b) I don't want to overwhelm my skin with a slew of skincare products. I know Clinique can target anything that's wrong with your skin, while Murad's hydrator can only do so much. Has anyone tried both these products enough to recommend one over the other?
So, I've been having really dry and flaky skin on my nose lately. No matter how much I was exfoliating and moisturizing, it seemed to stay all scale-y and flaky. I received a nice size lab sample of this product and decided to finally give it a shot last night. I used it like a mask, I kept it on for 10 minutes and wiped it off with a tissue, and then did my normal nightly routine with moisturizer and eye cream. Today, I have a flake-free nose! Also, I noticed my skin looked more even, feels super smooth and it didn't require as much of my moisturizer. This is just great for any of you who have dry/flaky skin! Anyways, I'm impressed with it, wanted to rave about it and its awesomeness! I didn't feel all self conscious anymore today because of this little gem. http://www.sephora.com/age-arrest-hydrating-firmin g-mask-P386380?icid2=Kate_Somerville_editorspicks_ ...
I am a HUGE fan of citrus and fruity scents. I don't care for the addition of florals or musks to anchor them in my lotion. I recently received the zesty lime Ultra Soft Cream and I'm in LOVE! Sniffing it in the container doesn't do it justice. The scent is much more obvious after application. Anyone else tried this one? I hope they keep it around for a long time.
Just wanted to let everyone know that I have been using calamine lotion on my face after I cleanse and tone nightly for about 4 months now. My skin's redness has greatly decreased and it acts like a spot treatment as well. My face is softer, smaller pores, smoother. I got the idea because I had tried Kate Somerville's Eradikate and thought it was too pricey and calamine lotion looks the same lol. Check it out It's about $9 for a bottle that will last you months. I bought mine in December and still have it. I use about a tsp daily so it will last forever.
What is the difference between Peter Thomas Roth Neuroliquid Volufill and Dr. Brandt crease release? Is one better than another? Are they both serums that you'd use a moisturizer over? I am interested in something that will help with the forehead wrinkles. Thanks!
A while back I received a sample of the amore pacific moisture bound rejuvenating serum. It worked incredible on my skin, I loved it. But, after doing some research I saw that a full size bottle is $100. I'm not looking to spend that much and I was wondering if anyone had found any other similar serums for a more reasonable price. Thanks
Is there anybody used to use Sheshiedo Benefiance Wrinkleresist24 Emulsion night and Kielh's Rosa Artica Cream? which one is good for sensetive/oily skin? or Do you have any suggestion besides those two?
