Oily
Hi everyone, hope you feel good and beautiful today.   So, actually, in the past I never did a make-up and was using different skin care products, never had something special, but now want to start and enter this beauty field and need advice from you and your experience. For my first step I want to ask you this, I have a problem as my skin is really oily and sensitive and because of that I have acne and make-up problems. I need couple good advice: 1. What are the best skin care products for oily skin + that have acne issues. 2. What cosmetics you use and which one fits better for this type of skin. 3. Which make-up fixer fits better. I will appreciate all advice from you. Thanks!

Dry
Hello all! I have very dry skin, and I am at a loss when it comes to fixing the situation. I use Clinique's 7 day scrub every few days, and CeraVe hydrating facial cleanser when I am not using the scrub. I go in with Peter Thomas Roth's water drench cloud serum and for moisturizer I use Neutrogena hydro boost or First aid beauty face cream. When I am not wearing foundation, you can't see the flakes as much obviously but my face doesn't feel smooth... But when I am wearing foundation the dry patches are SO bad mostly on my forehead but pretty much every where. I really don't know how to get this under control. I use IT cosmetics your skin but better cc+ cream.. and so far it has been the least drying.. But since it is so thick and almost oily feeling I would need to set it.. Which I can not go near powder or it makes the situation 10x worse.   Any suggestions for exfoliators, moisturizers, serums or even foundations?
Acne
I didn't have acne as a teenager, a few pimples here and there.  Now I'm in my 20s and am struggling with acne (fml) I have tons of scars now and I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions for products that will reduce the appearance of these scars.  Or any preventative measures!

I may be wrong, but I've noticed a connection between using products with SPF and irritation on my face. When I use products with SPF, I get an irritation on my face, along with whiteheads, and a tingly sensation on my skin. (I try to use oil-free facial products for sensitive skin, btw) This also happens when I use one of my favorite cosmetic lines, Bare Escentuals. I love their products, but I will have to stop using the ones with SPF because I believe it may be the cause of my irritation. I am going to switch to foundation and concealer without SPF, and I've had to stop using facial moisturizers with SPF also. I just cover my skin up as much as possible when in the sun, or I use an umbrella to keep the sun off.   What do you think? Has anyone else experienced facial irritation from SPF?

Often people ask for recommendations on a skincare routine or for specific products/combinations.  This might be a place to share your everyday skincare, both AM and PM.  A skincare "what are you wearing" as it were.  Hope this is useful.   *Age - 40 Skin type - oily/combination Current skin condition - quite dehydrated (winter/indoor heating)*   01/17/16 - AM skincare in the order I used 1. Nude Jelly cleanser (love) 2. Pixi Glow tonic (5% glycolic toner - love) 3. Omorovicza Queen of Hungary Spritz (sample) 4. Radical Skincare Youth Infusion serum - hydrating and anti-ageing (new to me.  Testing) 5. Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream (like) 6. Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine cream (really like as an AM moisturizer)   I will try to post PM skincare tonight so the post can be comprehensive.   General comments - Okay skin.  Apparently the age between 38-42 is a transformational time in hormones (dehydrated skin/spots), so I am more aware of how my skin performs/reacts .  My skincare definitely has more "actives" now than before.

All Other Concerns
Do you agree with her views on skincare products?  I'm on a hunt for my Summer night serum & moisturizer. I think I'm going to purchase the Perricone Blue Plasma even though it stinks so bad of fish & I hate fish. I've been researching products a lot and one of the sites I was on was Paula's Choice. She is not a fan of the serum... Actually the more I read through her "beautypedia" reviews, it seems like she's not a fan of a lot of products. I also got a feeling she was mainly trying to push her own products and Olay.  Examples:  - She's against treatment cleansers since it's just "washed down the drain". I have to disagree with this. When I use a treatment cleanser, although they can be drying, I do see improvement in my breakouts.  - Witch Hazel is bad. I find witch hazel to be an important ingredient when choosing a toner. She think it's just as bad as alcohol if not worse.    Products she gave a "poor" rating to:  - Anthony Logistic's Glycolic cleanser got a poor rating because it doesn't contain any glycolic acid.  - doctor dennis gross's A/B pads since we can just skip step 2 by simply splashing water on our face to deactivate step 1.  - Dior Capture Totale One Essential Serum because it's not a "miracle serum" since it's primarily just "water, slip agents, and alcohol" - ExfoliKate - Just about every Ole Henriksen product I love   - Origins Checks & Balances, Charcoal Mask & every other decent product from them - Most Murad products   I do agree with a few points she makes, like companies need to stop putting active ingredients in clear vials so the sun doesn't break down the properties of the treatment. Also jar packaging is a big no-no for her. I understand that some creams are too thick to be put in a pump, but what about those airless jars that Bosica & Dermadoctor are using? I hate sticking my fingers in jars & the air does break down the active ingredients over time...  Overall though, I don't think I'll be going to her site when I'm researching a new product I want to try.
Antiaging
Hi All!   I've been interested in getting some feedback as to great anti-aging moisturizers. I'm currently in my late 20s with combination(t-zone)/dry (cheeks) skin. I've been using Perricone MD Pre-Empt Oil-Free Moisturizer for nighttime use and have had much success with that, but I would love some suggestions for a great daytime moisturizer containing SPF but still having some anti-aging benefits that come with it. I'm also interested in delving into day and nighttime serums along with eye creams/oils. My wedding is coming up in a year and I would love to get a head start into bettering my skin now rather than later! Any suggestions are greatly appreciated, thank you!

Acne
Hi! I am currently 23 years old and have suffered from acne my whole life. I have recently been using Proactiv+ but stopped because it wasn't having a great affect on my acne or skin. I started to use Peter Thomas Roth Max Complexion Correcting pads along with Dermalogica Medibac face wash and a toner. My face cleared up somewhat well but now I have these little tiny bumps/breakouts all over my face. I never used to get those, and rather I would get bigger acne bumps. Should I switch to using another skin care product? Does anyone have any ideas? PLEASE HELP!

Acne
This is one area I have zero experience in. I can do my makeup ( and i wear alot lol ) without a mirror, and usually under 10 minutes if i have to. And since i like to sleep, i usually have to. I want to get into countouring. I had it done in store once and LOVED the outcome. Anyone have any recs for something that isn't going to take 45 minutes in the morning?
Antiaging
I have had Co2 laser for my wrinkles.  And now use Microneedling at home to keep the collagen production.   What serums (for use right after) or heave moisturizers ( a few hours later) have other seem help with?   I just started iwth a copper pepitide with apple stem cell to help with collagen growht.  Anything else? I also heard after the serum an hour or so after you should have strong anti-aging moisturizer.
Combo / Normal
Since the ole Henriksen aloe Vera deep cleanser has been discontinued *tears* i am looking for a new cleanser to use both in the morning and at night. I have normal to combo skin - my skin can be oily on some days and dry on others - i get these bumps on my face i'm not even sure what they are and i have large pores. I want a deep clean! Any recommendations?!

Oily
I recently got bangs, and the skin on my forehead has become so oily! Which products can I use, in the morning or the evening, to keep the pores on my forehead from getting clogged with all of the extra oil? I'm generally a pretty low-maintenance kind of girl, so I don't want to spend a ton of time using very expensive products. Thanks!

Looking for a foundation or other option to use for work.  Currently i use hourglass hylauronic skin tint and i love it!  but it is expensive and i am looking for a light and quick option just to even tone while providing a slight coverage for work.  I am a teacher, so I don't like the feeling of a lot on my face during the day.   Any suggestions welcome!  I have combination to dry skin- somewhat sensitive

I do like my skin care routine I have now and it limits my breakouts. Just wondering if anyone has gone above and gotten any treatments done or any thoughts on them. I know this is a very open ended question, but just seeing what others do. I am oily/combination.

I'm in my 30's and need to update both my AM and PM routine but I feel overwhelmed looking through all of Sephora's products and reading reviews.  I have combination/normal skin and my main concerns are anti-aging and fine lines - I want to make sure I'm doing what I can now to prevent these in the future.  I was also looking at getting a new cleanser (Boscia Black Cleanser) and was wondering if it's recommended?  Any suggestions??

We're told from an early age to start protecting our skin, but what exactly does that mean? I'm in high school, so I don't need to many fancy skin treatments, though I still want to keep my skin in top condition. Here is my current skincare routine:   Morning: FAB Cleanser Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel Origins Ginzing Eye Cream   Night: FAB Cleanser Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel   Any suggestions for different products or additions to my routine?

I have moderate acne, blackheads, and big pores. I was looking at the clinique acne solutions and murad one. Which one would you recommend? or something else?
