I'm currently using Maybelline's Dream Fresh BB Cream, but I'm looking for something with a little more coverage, preferably in the same price range. I got a sample of Laura Mercier's Tinted Moisturizer a couple months back and absolutely loved it, but I really can't afford to be spending that much on a product I'll use up so quickly. Does anyone know of any dupes? Or what is your favorite drugstore BB Cream/Tinted Moisturizer/CC Cream with medium coverage? http://www.sephora.com/tinted-moisturizer-broad-sp ectrum-oil-free-P140906?skuId=1531441
I have used hydrocortisone cream for years on my eyes to treat eczema, since I was a little kid. Now that Im getting older I have realized the side effects of hydrocortisone used for a prolonged time and want to prevent thinning and repair my skin. I am basically looking for a hydrating eye cream that will assist with this if it even exists lol, not sure if thats asking too much but I have no idea where do even begin there are so many eye creams! Thanks
I've made a post about this before and I was advised that the little skin-coloured bumps on my skin are actually clogged pores. It looks even WORSE when I wear foundation (wearing MUFE HD foundation in the pic). So I'm doing everything I'm supposed to do... (I think). I'm drinking lots of water everyday, I'm moisturizing, I'm exfoliating, I bought a clarisonic to cleanse-- but the bumps are still there. I think they might have gotten worse actually. Here are the products I use: Boscia Makeup-breakup Oil cleanser, Purity Made Simple cleanser with the Clarisonic, Peter Thomas Roth exfoliating peel gel (twice-a-week). I use Clinique moisture surge or dramatically different lotion for my very dry skin. Is there another product I should be buying? I need help
Hey there! I am so lucky to love my job but I work outside. I work in merchandise and live in Florida. After about five minutes outside you are already sweating up a storm! My shifts are about 8 hours long outside with two thirty minute breaks. Does anyone have any recommendations of what I should use to help my skin? I always wear my hair up and my problem area is my jaw and cheeks. Thanks!
My skin is extremely dehydrated and dull lately. I use a clarisonic every night but no matter how much I exfoliate it never seems to look anything but rough. Large pores on my cheeks, lines on my forehead & an uneven looking texture all over. My skin is extremely sensitive and is frequently irritated on top if all this. My moisturizer does nothing for the dryness & my makeup looks awful sitting on the roughness. I use cetaphil face wash, cerave moisturizer spf 30 & MyChelle hyaluronic acid serum at night I'm only 28, please help!
I'm 21 and have suffered from acne for as long as I can remember. I've been to the dermatologist and have been perscribed multiple things that have done absolutely nothing. I've tried just about everything so I need some help. I have oily skin and I need products that help with acne or will not cause me to breakout , yet usually when I use products for acne prone skin they leave my skin with dry patches and super sensitive. Is there any products out there that will help with acne but not dry me out??
Hi, I have been STRUGGLING with this issue.... for so many years already I find that no skin care products help, as it comes from within the body. So I am not asking for skin care help.. but rather, SUPPLEMENTS that help adjust the hormone back to a normal level. I know all that blurb about eating right sleeping right and exercising and decreasing stress blah blah... but I need to know what SUPPLEMENT can help fight that male hormone which causes this ugly situation!! Also I know that female hormone supplement helps but it can cause weight gain so I don't want that..... plz give some suggestion???? thanks!!!!!!!!
Hello. I'm in my mid 30's and want to switch to a natural line. I break out daily all over and its worse during my period. I would like to stay within the same line. Which line would work best for me: Tata Harper, Drunk Elephant, or Sunday Riley?
I've been getting lots of oil around my nose and dry patches on my cheeks and forehead. Currently I wear It cosmetics cc cream but just purchased the Peter Thomas Roth CC cream which I haven't tried yet. On these little dry patches on my skin, the make up is caking. what should I do?
I have a mild acne that I would like to reduce or if it is possible make it disappear, I have normal to dry skin and I used to prevent acne with natural products like Aloe Vera but, since my acne is a little bit more noticeable than it was before I think the best is to try a different product. PS: I'm allergic to Benzoyl Peroxide, Petrolatum and Mineral Oil.
I have normal skin and some acne on my chin and forehead I am trying to clear up. I wear a lot of makeup almost everyday and because of it my skin occasionally feels like its gross and clogged up from all the products. Is there anything that will help my skin to feel more clean and refreshed and get rid of all the gunk in my skin?
Hello, all. I am Janet, friends call me Jo. I work for a firm in Toronto. I am an accountant by profession. The work is hectic and because of this, my face has become dull . I happened to follow a diet plan so as to control my weight and belly size and after this, I got a wonderful change in my overall size of my body. But my face got saggy and turned dull. My skin was dry, so I underwent a facelift treatment ( http://www.drkreidstein.com/our-procedures/face/fa cial-rejuvenation-surgery/facelift/ ) two months before at Michael Kreidstein centre and I could get a wonderful change in my saggy face. But after that, I didn't use much foundation or any kind make ups. Before I used Maybelline foundation and Makeup forever-HD product as my skin was dry. It's my sister's wedding next month, and I don't know what kind of products that I should be using. Any products you got to suggest for me? I need to hide scars too,so is there any products that would help me in this situation? Will the products that I used before help me in this situation? I want to look awesome in her marriage and I don't want anyone to see my scars. Any suggestions for me?
Hi all- I have extremely dry, flaky sensitive skin with moderate redness. Lately I've been having some problems when I apply my makeup and even after just washing my face and moisturizing. It seems like no amount of lotion, cream, oil, ect can moisturize my skin and keep the flakes from happening. And after applying my makeup, my nose feels extremely rough (almost like sandpaper). I'm thinking I may need to incorporate an exfoliator into my routine maybe once/twice a week but I have very sensitive skin on top of the dryness so I'm concerned about irritation. About 6-8 months ago I tried to incorporate a drugstore scrub into my routine about once a week (I think it was one by the brand Alba) but I felt like it was too harsh. Any suggestions on a good exfoliator for very dry, sensitive skin? I have been looking into the First Aid Beauty Radiance Pads and possibly the Boscia Exfoliating Peel Gel, but I've never used a chemical exfoliant before. Any advice is appreciated! Current Skincare Routine: Morning- no face soap (just splash my face with a little bit of lukewarm water), Milk Makeup facial oil, Say Yes To Cucumbers Soothing facial moisturizer (drugstore) Evening- Fresh Soy Facial Cleanser, coconut oil, First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Intense Hydration cream I use Smashbox hydrating primer, Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream, NARS radiant creamy concealer, and Sephora brand pressed bronzer powder as far as my daily face makeup routine. The tinted moisturizer and concealer I normally apply with a damp beauty blender.
I suffer from the most inevitable; Acne. I have a few pimples on my forehead, nose and chin, but most the acne on my face is scaring. My nose, however, is infested with embedded black heads. I wash my face 3-4 times a day with Acne Dote Face Wash, I use homemade soap to cool my face (after using the acne wash, my face feels like it's burning and redness appears), I then apply coconut oil. I have been doing this for months now and I've hardly noticed any changes. The only change I've seen is the bumpiness has gone down slightly, but that's about it. I'm going to be starting high school in a few days, and I truly wish not to be picked on because of it. I've been picked on a lot during activities I participated in. Do you have any suggestions how to remove the blackheads / lighten or remove acne scaring / clear up the pimples on my forehead, chin and nose? Thanks. Spoiler (Highlight to read)
I have combination skin that tends to lean more towards the oily side, and I feel like my pores are just very congested. Especially on my nose. I have a lot of blackheads and I want to get rid of them so badly. Can anyone recommend a product that has worked for them? Thanks!
I have a couple red spots and a few brown spots on my cheeks from acne. What products can I buy to reduce this? I started using Shiseido enriched mositurizer / night mask and mud clay as well. I prefer shiseido if possible. Thank you
HELP! I'm looking for good skincare products. I have combination/oily skin. I tend to breakout a lot on my nose and around my temples. I'm usually oily in my t-zone. I use a drugstore acne facial wash twice a day but when I use it around my nose gets dry and some other parts of my face so sometimes I switch back and forth from acne wash to just a regular facial wash. I also crease a lot on my under eyes whenever I'm using makeup. OH! and I get a lot of blackheads on my nose. I'm being a tad bit needy lol, I'm looking for a good facial cleanser, good moisturizer, face masks and also maybe under eye care.
Ok, I just used the clarisonic for the first time 3 days ago. I'd been debating getting it for 2 years now for this very reason...but finally took the plunge hoping it would help me with my large pores/blackheads on my chin. I used the sensitive brush, and planned on using it just once a week until my skin got used to it. But now I'm wondering if I made a $150 mistake...I've got huge, cystic like bumps coming up on my chin, and even one under my eye on my cheekbone ( I NEVER break out there). What gives? Should I stop using it or just give it time? What was your experience with clarisonic?
I am looking for a comparable product to the Drunk Elephant C-Firma Day Serum. Sephora Canada doesn't carry this product anymore & the Drunk Elephant website doesn't ship internationally. I am looking to avoid any added fragrance or perfume.
So the thing is, my nose is always dry and flakey for some reason, while every other part of my face is fine. I need help finding a good face cleanser and moisturizer that will help prevent the dry flakes appearing on my nose. Any good suggestions? Can be from Sephora or drug store. I have tried using facial oils as a moisturizer and they dont seem to help so much, so im thinking something more cream and thick?
My skin is feeling dry right now I am using the Kate Somerville Goats Milk Moisturizer but still feels dry..I have very sensitive skin...any suggestions...I am using smash box primer over the goat milk and wondering if that could be causing the dryness....any suggestions? Do I need a different moisturizer? Thanks!
Hi guys!! It's been a while since i've been on beauty talk but I recently got super into Sunday Riley for some reason and have been deciding whether or not to get Luna Oil or Good Genes! I'm comparing both and wondering which one you think would help the most for blemishes! I started using the Good Genes every night for 3 days, broke out then realized I probably shouldn't have gone so gung ho!! So for the last five days i've been using it every second night and have seen a bit of improvement. Any experiences or recommendations? I have samples of both to try at home
