NATURAL SKINCARE CAUSING BREAKOUTS?
I have combination/oily skin with just occasional breakouts.  I was looking for a product to help even out my skin tone and keep acne under control. A sales associate suggested Oe Henriksen Aloe Vera Deep Cleanser & Grease Relief Face Tonic. However, it totally made my skin breakout! I was thinking of trying the Tata Harper Regenerating Cleanser, but I'm thinking maybe my skin just doesn't like natural products. I have also tried Orgins Checks & Balances and that made me breakout as well.  However, I have used the Fresh Rose Toner and Korres Greek Yogurt products without problems.   Is there a difference between these natural products?    Thanks!

Uneven Skin Tone Cleanser
Hi! I am looking for a new cleanser.  I had a little trouble with acne, but have gotten it mostly under control but want to keep it that way. My main concern now is evening out my skin tone. I have oily skin and am 23 years old.  I tried the Shiseido Purifying Cleanser, but it made my skin feel "squeaky" after rinsing.  A couple I was thinking of trying based on my concerns were: boscia Detoxifying Black Cleanser Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Cleanser Daily Foaming Wash   Has anyone tried both or have any other suggestions?   Thanks!

Chemical exfoliation & new routine
I'm 24 years old, dry/combination skin. I have hereditary dark under eyes, easily get black heads on my nose, and often get congested on my forehead. I have very minor discoloration from acne scars past, but texture isn't a huge problem for me. My skincare routine includes the Clinique 3 Step system for dry/combination skin - mild facial soap, clarifying toner, and moisturizing lotion+ (however, I've heard foaming facial cleansers contain detergent, and are too harsh for the skin... so I'm open to new cleanser suggestions). I use FAB Radiance Pads a few times a week, I use my Clarisonic with the sensitive brush head a few times a week, GlamGlow Supermud if/when I'm breaking out, and I also use Bobbi Brown's Hydrating Eye Cream. I recently went into my Sephora and got samples of the Drunk Elephant Framboos Glycolic Serum and the Boscia Self-Defense Vital Antioxidant Moisture SPF 30, which so far, both seem amazing. So, my next question is, should I discontinue use of my FAB Facial Radiance Pads if I'm using the serum 3-ish times a week?

Unconventional use for Bite Agave mask (Eczema)
I've been dealing with a particularly stubborn patch of eczema on my eyelid since the end of January. Nothing would hold any moisture in this area.  On a whim I decided to apply a bit of the Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask (in clear) to my eyelid. The next morning the patch felt smoother and wasn't itchy anymore. After 3 days of applying twice daily, the skin on my eyelid felt normal again. I thought maybe it was cured, but the patch returned after I stopped using mask for three days. Now I'm back to using it twice daily, and again my eyelid is clear of eczema. So I guess it's not a cure, but it's definitely a somewhat unconventional but effective treatment!

Omorovicza in Canada
Hello lovelies, Anyone know of the best way to buy Omorovicza products in Canada (specifically Toronto)?  I know sephora has some but the selection is limited and ordering off Omorovicza's site with the US conversion and expensive shipping is not enticing. Any ideas?   Also, has anyone tried the fragrance (bagatelle de gabrielle)? I'm wondering if it smells like any of the products. I'm in love with the line but with the shipping fees and weak return policy, it's hard to take the leap. Is it worth it?

Small forehead bumps
I'm 23 years old, and although I sometimes still suffer from breakouts (mostly around my time of the month), I have developed an issue over the last year or so with getting these weird bumps on my forehead that do not appear to be normal breakouts. I'm including a photo... Any ideas what these are/how to combat them? I haven't noticed a pattern as to what is causing them... I don't really use hair products, and I haven't tried any new products on my face. I have been considering using some sort of glycolic product.

Sensitive skin annoyances!
I've seen quite a few posts on BT about sensitive skin and problems people need help with. I thought it may also be fitting to have a space for people to complain about the difficulties of sensitive skin among sympathetic readers, as well as possibly look for advice and recommendations. It can be so annoying sometimes and no one quite gets it like other people with sensitive skin.    Skin type: Combination oily/oily, hypersensitive skin with eczema (developed 6 years ago) Complaint:  I recently tried the Nars Radiant Tinted Moisturizer and fell in love. I mean,  in love . As someone with usually combination oily/oily skin, I usually shy away from anything with the words "radiant" or "luminous". However, it works in a way that my skin is glowy (in this less-than-glowy New England weather) without looking oily. Alas, it seems like it's not to be because the  Octinoxate sunscreen. I have had a problem with chemical sunscreens for a few years. However, my lips have recently been more tolerable of them, so I thought that  maaaayybbe the same could be said for my face. Alas, that is not the case. I can't stand the limited options that sensitive skin can bring. Oh, to be able to use almost any product...I dream of it.

Looking for the right line.
I am 45 and looking for a skincare line that is right for me.  My skin has been acting up lately - probably because of trying new products to find the right one.  I am looking for a line that would help me with anti-aging issues, dry skin and small breakouts around the nose area.  It is not rosacea I have been told, but definitely irritated skin.  So bottom line is my skin is sensitive and dry.  I would like to try a line that is paraben free and more on the natural side, but I understand some of the chemicals are needed for the anti-aging.  Any advise is greatly appreciated!!!  Thank you in advance for any info you all can give me.

What has worked for your eczema?
I get eczema on the opposite side of my elbow. Its incredibly itchy and because of that I end up with skin irritation. I have a prescription cream but its strong and the doc says not to use it THAT often or as a prophylactic. Mine recently flared in the last year and it doesn't seem to be seasonal nor diet based (well my diet hasn't changed).   Right now Im trying out Loccitanes 100% Shea butter and the Ultra Repair Cream by First Aid Beauty. Its only been a few days so I can't quite tell yet.    Has anything worked for you particularly?

Sunday Riley Good Genes question
Hi all! Has anyone else experienced actual skin peeling when using Good Genes?? I had this problem with Luna as well, though so far, the peeling w/ Good Genes is more minimal (Luna gave me red skin AND peeling). Is this normal? If so, does it subside after my skin gets used to the product?   For reference, I've used Drunk Elephant's Glycolic Nightly Peel w/ no actual skin peeling issues. And have used Sunday Riley's Artemis, which is not a peel of course, with no issues.

CLINIQUE Pep-Start Eye Cream
I received the new Clinique Pep-Start Eye Cream today and thought I would post my thoughts for anyone interested in this item.       Item Description This lightweight eye cream provides a rush of hydration and instant brightening so you look and feel refreshed, wide awake, and ready for anything in as little as three seconds. Its cool touch and de-puffing tip help keep eyes looking fresh while smoothing the way for makeup. Plus, its peptides help support natural collagen reserves that can be threatened by stress, fatigue, and lack of sleep—the tell-tale signs of your busy life.     The letter given with the item says there are more products to be expected from this line.   Some background on me   I'm 25 (26 next month) and frankly tend to be pretty lazy about eye creams. I have tried other eye creams, most recently the Sunday Riley one, but found myself just taking my moisturizer/serum up to and around my eye area when I'm too tired/lazy. Overall I like to keep my skincare routine pretty simple. I don't have fine lines or wrinkles, or any swelling but definitely some dark circles. My biggest concern on the whole would be preventing lines, and helping with the darkness I have (primarily in the inner eye area).   Initial thoughts I don't know if I'm a fan of the applicator. I think if it was one of those metal slant tips the thicker formula would glide a bit better. The round plastic ball seems to tug a bit at the eye as you spread the cream. The formula doesn't soak in but I don't think I mind that. I think there are some cosmetic brightening properties as there is a definite and immediate brightness, but it looks like it's..covered up if that makes sense. So that may be the 3 second difference they are referring to. There is a slight tingle but not as much as I got from the Sunday Riley eye cream.   Ingredients There is a full ingredient list but it literally takes up the entire side of the box so would be a bit tedious to write out here. I will say there is Dimethicone about mid-way down, which I know some people don't like. There are also a few peptides and antioxidants which I like!    Product Link http://www.sephora.com/pep-start-eye-cream-P403817 ?skuId=1774819   I will report back after I get more use of this. If there are any specific questions about the product and the use I can answer, please let me know.   This item was a gift from both Sephora and Clinique.

is it normal to break out like crazy after using an exfoliator for the first time?
So i started using the Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Exfoliating mask because i was advised by a beauty advisor from Sephora that it will be a great step to add in my skin care routine. At first it was working out great then... after some time i started breaking out, from a couple of pimples to having them all over my jaw line area and random parts of my face that i normally never get breakouts. I remember the lady who helped me mentioned that its common to break out as the "first step", i want to know is this the first step? will this go away? this has been the most ive ever broken out before and i need my skin to clear up fast for an event im going to . What should i do?

Daily Skincare - what are you using?
Often people ask for recommendations on a skincare routine or for specific products/combinations.  This might be a place to share your everyday skincare, both AM and PM.  A skincare "what are you wearing" as it were.  Hope this is useful.   *Age - 40 Skin type - oily/combination Current skin condition - quite dehydrated (winter/indoor heating)*   01/17/16 - AM skincare in the order I used 1. Nude Jelly cleanser (love) 2. Pixi Glow tonic (5% glycolic toner - love) 3. Omorovicza Queen of Hungary Spritz (sample) 4. Radical Skincare Youth Infusion serum - hydrating and anti-ageing (new to me.  Testing) 5. Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream (like) 6. Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine cream (really like as an AM moisturizer)   I will try to post PM skincare tonight so the post can be comprehensive.   General comments - Okay skin.  Apparently the age between 38-42 is a transformational time in hormones (dehydrated skin/spots), so I am more aware of how my skin performs/reacts .  My skincare definitely has more "actives" now than before.

Can face masks expire?
is it possible for a face mask to expire? One of the reasons why I began to take care of my skin was because I tried a Fresh rose face mask sample I got a while ago. I could say it was about half a year to a year when I finally used it. I noticed upon applying it that my face burned but since I'm not very familiar with masks, I thought it was normal. Then after a few minutes it went away and once I washed it off, my face felt smooth. I didn't put anything else on my skin other than a body lotion I've had that I used to use on my face. Later on that night is when I started feeling a weird tingly sensation on my cheeks. It almost was lightly burning and looked red. Then, when I woke up that morning my cheeks were red, felt rough, dry and were flaky! I was so sad to have had that happen! It was the first time I've had problems with my face so I immediately bought a face oil and moisturizers, since I assumed my face needed a lot to recover.   Now that I passed that, I received another sample of the same face mask and I really want to find out what happened to make my face react that way. I kind of want to give it another chance and try the mask again and find out if it really was that the mask was expired or if it was that particular mask. I also wonder if it was because I was sampling a Clinique spf city block cream that dried out my face. I also thought it might have happened  because I tried the simple micellar water that same day I used the mask, but since then, I tried the micellar water and it hasn't  affected my skin now, so luckily it wasn't that! Anyway, sorry this is such a long a long post but I wanted to give details to figure out what could have been the cause.

Chemical Peel problem, please help!
I got a chemical peel on my neck/chest this afternoon, and I am very worried that something went wrong.  This is only my third peel (each about a month apart) so its entirely possible that I am overreacting.  With my first two, I had minimal reaction, my skin looked awesome for a few weeks afterwards and the worst part was a few moments of intense itching.  No pain, no redness, nothing negative at all, just great looking skin.    With this peel, my skin is still SO painful about 4 hours post peel.  Some of it is still very red and raw looking.  The horizontal lines on my neck actually look a lot worse than before the peel.  I've been putting the remedy gel on, but even the gel hurts so much.  I'm hoping to gain some perspective from someone who has more experience with chemical peels, is this normal?  When will the pain go away?  And when will the redness go down?  I went into the salon about an hour post peel with my concerns, but they said it was normal and to call back in 7 days if I'm still feeling like this.  If something is wrong, I would rather not wait that long.
