RECOMMENDATIONS FOR SERUM/SKINCARE FOR GETTING RID OF REDNESS FROM PAST ACNE?
Does anyone have any recommendations for skincare for getting rid of redness/hyperpigmentation from past acne?  I'm willing to splurge and spend more money on better quality skincare.  I've been looking at the SK-II brightening and Shiseido White Lucent lines, but am open to other recommendations!  Has anyone tried one or the other, or both?  What were your thoughts on it?   My skin is oily, sensitive, and acne prone.

Where Are The Holes In My Skincare Routine?
Hi all,      I feel like I need to start stepping up my skincare, for prevention's sake.  I don't have any super pressing concerns, other than dark circles under my eyes that never go away.   I am 33, have combination skin, extremely rarely get breakouts and drink a ton of water.  Generally speaking, my skin is smooth and fairly evenly olive toned.   My routine is as follows;   Mornings I moisturize with Clinique Dramatically Different gel after I get out of the shower.  I apply sunscreen if I'm going out anywhere, but not if I'm going to be indoors all day.  If it is winter or I am feeling dry, I use Clinique Moisture Surge Intense or Extended Thirst Relief instead of the DD gel.   Evenings I remove my makeup with a Clarisonic Plus and Bliss Fabulous Foaming Facewash.  Then if I remember (so a few times a week) I use Bliss Daily Detoxifying Toner.  Once every week or two, I follow up with Bliss Peeling Groovy Serum.  Most days I finish up with Clinique Moisture Surge Overnight Mask.   I currently don't use an eye cream, though I know I should.  I don't do masks, but for no apparent reason.  I used to use Murad Intensive Resurfacing Peel and loved it, but Sephora in Canada doesn't carry it anymore in store or online.     I'm lucky enough to have few complaints about my skin, but do wish it was a little more radiant.  My Clarisonic definitely has helped with keeping my skin tone even and acne free, but I'm starting to feel like I want a bit more oomph, but I just can't put a finger on what that would be.   Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.     Thanks all!

BLOCKED PORES ON CHIN - CAN THEY BE BANISHED?
One of my daughter's has a billion blocked pores on her chin, which she is very self conscious about. She uses mild facial washes, a salicylic acid scrub once or twice a week, the Clarisonic maybe three times a week at night, and following cleansing with or without exfoliating, she puts Clinique's Anti Blemish Gel followed by Clinique's Anti Blemish Balm on her chin.   Unfortunately this routine is not getting rid of the blocked pores on her chin, so I'd be grateful for any ideas, and she's really miserable about the situation - Thanks!

Dry skin to oily skin overnight?
I have had dry skin my entire life. One night I woke up with a complete oily face. It wasn't the first time because I have before when I got really drunk the night before. But ever since that day for the last month my face has gotten super oily within the first two hours after cleansing. Before this was happening I believed I dehydrated my face because of using different cleansers and acne medication to dry out my skin. I have been using a cleanser and a hydrating moisturizer after for almost about a week and it still doesn't seem to be working. I have even switched to using jajoba oil to cleanse with so it wont dry out my face and then the moisturizer afterwards thinking to rehydrate my face so it would stop oiling and go back to normal. My dermatologist doesn't think I could of got this overnight and I don't know what else that could be causing this. Could this be a viral effection or something, I have been noticing my face getting hot and sweating randomly at night while watching t.v.

Flaky, Dry Skin & Paula's Choice 2% Liquid BHA
So a little over a week ago, I started using the Paula's Choice 2% Liquid BHA.  I'd been using the FAB Facial Radiance Pads, but wanted to try a BHA instead due to lingering acne blemishes and clogged pores.  While the Paula's Choice 2% Liquid BHA has been doing a great job at cleaning out my pores and made my skin super soft at first, over the past couple days I've noticed a stinging/burning sensation after applying it and my skin has started flaking and feeling very dry and tight.  I'm so disappointed, and while I'm not ready to give up on the product yet, I'm wondering if anyone has advice about how to make it work better with my skin?  Has anyone ever had a reaction like this while using the Paula's Choice 2% Liquid BHA?  Is there anything I can do to reduce the flaky, dry skin?  I've included my a.m. & p.m. skin routine below, my skin is generally normal with some oiliness, and I do get occasional cystic acne blemishes on my chin/jawline.    a.m. FAB Daily Cleanser Paula's Choice 2% Liquid BHA Philosophy When Hope Is Not Enough Serum FAB 3-in-1 Eye Cream Kiehl's Ultra Facial Moisturizer Neutrogena Dry Touch Ultra Sheer Sunscreen SPF 45   p.m. Clinique Take The Day Off Balm FAB Daily Cleanser Paula's Choice 2% Liquid BHA Doctor's Skin Prescription Rejuvenating Retinol Serum FAB 3-in-1 Eye Cream Kiehl's Ultra Facial Moisturizer   Weekly Clarisonic Kiehl's Rare Earth Pore Cleansing Mask

I used to have dry/normal skin, but now it's oily...help!
I've tried cutting out toner (because it had alcohol which dries out skin), using oil control serum, using a good moisturizer (my cheeks feel very moisturized and normal), hydrating masks. I took vitamin C rich products because that was drying my skin out as well...    I give up! I'm 27 and I've had the same skin for ages. I can't really think it's the weather because it's been on and off like this for a year or so but has recently gotten worse.    What masks would you recommend to calm down my skin? Anything else I could be doing?   For the record I'm currently using Fresh Soy Face Cleanser Kate Sommerville Oil Control Serum and/or the new Shishedo Serum Dr. Perricone Face Finishing Moisturizer (day) / Fresh Youth Lotus Creme (night)    Any tips would be appreciated! Eye cream while using Retin-A
Hi!   I recently started using Retina-A to help treat my acne and fade some old hyper pigmentation from acne.   Its working beautifully thus far however, I noticed when I apply eye cream around my eyes, it stings and burns.  I assume this is because the Retin-a might be clashing with some of the active ingredients in the eye cream.   Can someone suggest something that is gentle but works.  I'm 25 and simply looking for an eye cream as more of a preventative measure.   Thanks!

Which clarisonic will work for my skin!! Thanks loves!
Hi everyone! I have acne, acne scars and annoying white bumps on my face. It's awful and I NEED help. My acne is not bad--It covers with makeup and I love to wear makeup so it isn't a huge problem. Of course I try to decrease it but it doesn't drive me so crazy anymore. I mostly have them on my chin. Forehead is clear and cheeks were clear until I started getting these awful bumps. I don't even remember when it started I just remember putting on my makeup and looking in the mirror and being ilke "WTF."  Bumps on face...clogged pores that stand out with foundation. HELP. Am looking to buy a clarisonic now Every time I go to sephora or a skin care person they say I need to EXFOLIATE! I do now... but they are still there. I want smooth skin that will look even more flawless with makeup.  So I have finally decided to buy a clarisonic. (Do you guys recommend this for my condition????!) I am thinking perhaps the deep pore or acne clarifying brush will be best but want to hear your experiences!! I don't really have oily skin...it's normal. Couple of blackheads on my nose here and there.   So please help!!! Has anyone else had this problem? What did you do? Did the clarisonic help???

Initial thoughts on my BT Gift: Nude Brightening Fizzy Powder Wash
Hey guys! So I got my gift today of the Nude face wash. I was excited to see it was full size! I love Nude products; they are pretty natural and I typically see great results. This one is interesting; it's a powder that you activate with water, similar to an exfoliation treatment.    I used it with my Clarisonic pro. I'm wondering if that was a good idea. The powder is very fine, but washing it off, I could feel it. I'll try it without the Clarisonic tomorrow. It felt good on the skin, and has no scent. I think I used a little too much; I'll use less tomorrow. My skin felt clean afterwards. I had removed my makeup with the Nude cleansing oil. My skin did feel slightly tight afterwards. Once I used my serum and moisturizer, I was fine. I don't notice brightening yet; I'm sure that comes with continued use. I'll keep everyone posted! Anyone else receive it? What do you think?    Thanks Sephora for the awesome gift!

What product(s) have turned around a beauty concern and made a difference in how you feel?
Recently I had a terrible breakout and allergic reaction to some products I was using on my face. I got very depressed and just didn't feel attractive. I changed up my whole skincare regimen and switched to a different foundation as well. Lately, I feel like I'm getting my glow back and I attribute that to these new products that helped calm, clear and soothe my inflamed skin. I started using First Aid Beauty cleanser and oil free moisturizer twice daily and Bareminerals liquid foundation. I'm curious from the beauty community who else has had a similar experience? What products helped and why? Did these changes help with self esteem and confidence?

Suncreen issues due to retinol
Two weeks ago I stepped up my retinol game at night from the Algenist Retinol Firming and Lifting Serum to Paula's Choice Clinical 1% Retinol Treatment Cream and went through peeling, redness, and especially sensitivity (I was accidentally blending this up under my eyes and onto my lids when I put my eye cream on and my eyes were having none of it - water burned and the only thing that I found that didn't irritate them was Neosporin). When I was going through the adjustment, sunscreen was adhering to my skin increasingly poorly, which I just chalked up to the flaking and dryness. Now that my skin has adjusted to the retinol, which I am able to use daily, sunscreen will barely adhere to my skin. I've been using the same amount of the same formulas (Kate Sommerville Waterlight, Supergoop City Serum, MDSolar Sciences SPF 50, Bioderma Photoderm MAX, and Neutrogena Dry Touch SPF 45) as well as the same skincare, but they don't blend in and don't stay put. If I don't wear makeup, they look obvious on the skin becasue of the streaks they leave, and if I do, then all of the formulas just ball up when I try to blend anything out. I think that it is becasue my skin texture has improved by leaps and bounds, but am not entirely sure. Has anyone else encountered this problem, or is it just a 'me' thing? I would love to hear any suggestions for sunscreens that you all think would work as well. I would like to avoid using waterproof, but, as of now, it looks to be my only feasible option .

Ole Henrikson vs. Eve Lom cleansers
I received a few samples of the Eve Lom cleanser a while ago and really liked it, but I'm having trouble justifying almost $100 for a cleanser. I looked into the OH Melting cleanser, which seems like a decent dupe, but the reviews have been mixed. Does anyone have ideas on their similarity? I know the Eve Lom is a hot-cloth cleanser and the OH doesn't seem to be, but the "feel" of the melting cleanser seems to be the same based on description. I've used the Liz Earle hot-cloth cleanser as well, but that seems much creamier than the Eve Lom.

Hi all! I wish to add some skin care products to my list since I’m about to be 20. I’m just so excited to welcome my 20 years old birthday and want to take care of my face. I just use cleanser, toner and lotion. I’m looking for eye gel and mask now. I wonder if it’s a little early to use them. My face is a little sensitive and slightly oily on T zone. I used to use Clinique, Jurlique, and Kiehl’s. I find Fresh Lotus Eye Gel and Rose Mask might be a good choice. Can you leave me some suggestions?
