The advice given is horrifically hazardous for fostering an environment that creates elements enouraging fungal acne overgrowth!! This is because the clear concern of fungal acne is dismissed to prioritize recommendations of products to alleviate aesthetic appearance of "true acne". As warned in recommendation excessive dryness, and peeling are a risk of using retinols, S.acid. & B.P. dehydrated dry skin leads to flaking and peeling that fungal acne thrives on, additionallyThe high quantity of the key ingredients found in most of the recommended products strip skin of natural barrier allowing fungal acne to freely form. MOST IMPORTANT!!! Fungal acne is often a sign of a deep seated fungal infection inside the body, potentially systemic when fungal acne overgrowth is visible it is not just a blemish it can be a later symptom. Pointing to a seriousChronic infection likely going on for a long time and it should be prioritized has often it does not heal leaving and open scab potentially.Turning into a staff infectio, ALSO you don't have to see a dermatologist to get diagnosed with it as treating the acne alone will not get rid of the fungal unless it is a specific strand that only manifest on the skin. the entireInfection must be treated not just the surface. And for this reason, several different specialist are able to diagnose it other than dermatology

I recently purchased the Drunk Elephant Return to Classics Protini refill kit on 11/25 and had a similar reaction. I stopped using it immediately, but the next day I needed over-the-counter allergy medication to calm the rash. It took nearly two weeks and only using my trusted Vitamin C serum to get my skin back under control. This was especially alarming because I’ve been a long time user of the cream with no issues. When I reached out to the company, I was essentially told the reaction was my fault. The lack of genuine concern and the silence that followed solidified my decision to stop using their products altogether. I was also surprised to learn that Drunk Elephant was acquired by the Shiseido Group in 2019. A makeup brand I used for 15 years was acquired by them as well. I experienced a similar reaction from the makeup after that acquisition.

I recently purchased the Drunk Elephant Return to Classics Protini refill kit on 11/25 and had the exact same reaction described by you (and others). I stopped using it immediately, but the next day I needed over-the-counter allergy medication to calm the rash, and it took nearly two weeks to get my skin back under control. This was especially alarming because I’ve been a long time user of the cream with no issues. When I reached out to the company, I was essentially told the reaction was my fault. The lack of genuine concern and the silence that followed solidified my decision to stop using their products altogether. As a consumer, I should be able to walk into a store and trust that what I’m buying is safe. I was also surprised to learn that Drunk Elephant was acquired by the Shiseido Group in 2019.A makeup brand I used for 15 years was acquired by them as well. I experienced a similar reaction from the makeup after that acquisition.

@LadyKay82 My favorite cleanser for dry skin which I've been using for at least ten years Kiehl''s 1851 Ultra Facial Cleanser, but it sounds like their Ultra Facial Barrier-Hydrating Cleanser is exactly what you're looking for. Alpyn's Hydrating Cold Cream Cleanser and innisfree's Volcanic Swirl Exfoliating Pore Mask sound good.

@miksl23 I'd suggest the Dr. Idriss Major Fade Dark Spot Starter Kit , she's specifically designed the products to help fade dark spots. In addition to that I'd suggest a good SPF to help prevent them from getting dark when you're out and about.
