Often people ask for recommendations on a skincare routine or for specific products/combinations. This might be a place to share your everyday skincare, both AM and PM. A skincare "what are you wearing" as it were. Hope this is useful.
*Age - 40
Skin type - oily/combination
Current skin condition - quite dehydrated (winter/indoor heating)*
01/17/16 - AM skincare in the order I used
1. Nude Jelly cleanser (love)
2. Pixi Glow tonic (5% glycolic toner - love)
3. Omorovicza Queen of Hungary Spritz (sample)
4. Radical Skincare Youth Infusion serum - hydrating and anti-ageing (new to me. Testing)
5. Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream (like)
6. Elemis Pro-Collagen Marine cream (really like as an AM moisturizer)
I will try to post PM skincare tonight so the post can be comprehensive.
General comments - Okay skin. Apparently the age between 38-42 is a transformational time in hormones (dehydrated skin/spots), so I am more aware of how my skin performs/reacts . My skincare definitely has more "actives" now than before.
Age - 36
skin type - dry
current skin condition - recovering from weight gain and loss. In need of firming stuff so please give suggestions if you've got em!
Night;
Green shu uemura cleansing oil
Evita Rose foaming cleanser -testing
skinvill white peeling gel
épicé restorative toner - testing a sample from ipsy
dr c labo photo white c whitening lotion
shu uemura red:juvenus vitalizing retexturizing emulsion
etude house honey cera eye pack cream
fresh black tea firming overnight mask
aerin rose lip conditioner
Lots of hydration (especially as your skin is dry and it is winter), and add in some Retinoid. Vit A is best to boost collagen (you already use Vit C). If you do use Vit A - ramp up your hydration even more as the skin feels dryer initially.
Lots of serums/oils with Vit A at Sephora (DDG, Sunday Riley, Kate Somerville etc.). Some might be more suited to your skin than others.
Also....you look great.
@greenchilli I'm usually all about retinoids and normally get regular prescriptions, but I'm not supposed to be using them while breastfeeding cause they get into your bloodstream and breast milk. I just assume I'm supposed to cut out all retinoids to be safe.
i can't wait to get back onto the retin-A regimen.
Age- 26, Combination
Recently getting into expanding my skincare regimen.
PM-
Sunday Riley Blue Moon Cleansing Balm
Korres Greek Yoghurt Cleanser
Amie Deep Pore Exfoliating Polish
Sunday Riley Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream
Lush Popcorn Lip Scrub

Allo chirruns!
Today I carried my hairy self to the local "auntie" and lost 2lbs of weight - in hair. My winter coat is now gone. My PM routine is adjusted for this minor trauma.
PM skincare - 12/2/16 (post threading).
1. Cleanse - Tata Harper Nourishing Cleansing oil
2. Acid - Biologique Recherche P50
3. Caudalie Grape water Spritz
4. Serum - Clarins Skin Rescue Concentrate - when your skin needs rescuing, and there is no helicopter in sight..
5. DDG Ferulic and Retinol eye cream
6. Hydrate and magic - Aurelia Cell Recovery Night Oil, cuz this is the best thing since puppy breath.
Lol at the weight loss after getting hair removed, that's how I always feel!
I'm trying all kinds of new things lately so here's hoping I don't breakout like crazy. I feel like my texture is weird today, could it be from starting to use my little Foreo Play?
AM:
PM:
Are you looking for a hydrating toner? An essence? Maybe an HA (hyaluronic acid) layer?
I like Tidal, enough I bought a full size during the summer. It reminds me of DDG hyaluronic moisture cushion and both of these products are great for how I use them.
I am! A hydrating toner is what i'm looking for.
I liked Tidal a lot actually, I just found it wasn't hydrating enough for my skin this winter. I think i'll definitely pick some up in the summer though!
My skin is looking dull and sad today.. I'm not sure why, but it is!
AM:
water cleanse
SR good genes

41, oily but dehydrated skin, grumpy disposition today.
1. Cleanse - Oskia Renaissance gel
2. FAB Radiance pads
3. Pixi Hydrating Milky mist
4. Tata Harper Brightening serum
5. Tata Harper Restorative Eye cream
6. Oskia Nutri-Active Day cream
This is exactly my skin today, oily but dehydrated. Just my luck I got bronchitis over the holiday and have been taking some OCT and my skin needs nourishment and pampering. Putting together a mask game plan for tonight or tomorrow.
What do you think about the brightening serum? I'm almost finished with my nutrient complex so I'll need another addition to my rotation.
@Anonymous
I hope you are feeling better!
I like the TH brightening serum. Although I would caution that I can't tell you if there are drastic results, most of my skincare is preventative or maintenance. But it keeps my skin looking healthy.
TH serums are a bit hydrating as well, so I quite like them under a moisturizer when the weather cools down.
BTW, I have the Nutrient Complex and have not used it much. I forget, and I am grateful to have so many good skincare products available that some get forgotten as well.
Thanks @greenchilli
The nutrient complex isn't a game changer but great as a nourishing component in my lineup. I like that it isn't heavy but hydrating. I have to go in the store this week so I'll grab a sample of the brightening serum to try in the mornings.
I'm back! I've been gone for almost a year now (little break from Sephora and the skincare craze I was on!) buuuut....
Skin Type - Normal, acne prone
Age - 22
Current Skin - i'm so happy with it! Dry (hello winter) and now that I have breakouts under control I'm looking to improve overall brightness/even skin tone

I'm probably going to add two more things to this routine, as the heaters have been blasting everywhere.
I have been looking for this thread for a solid 30 minutes and now that I've found it I feel like I deserve a cookie. (Note to self: perhaps poor eating is causing breakouts....)
I've come in search of a good salicylic acid recommendation. I'm 28 (will be 29 next month) and my skin has decided to start acting up after having been well-behaved for most of my life. I have been getting breakouts on my chin for several months now. Occasionally one pops up on my cheeks as well. Retin-A seems to help reduce the frequency/intensity, but they still form. AHAs seem to do nothing (have tried a ton). I recently tried salicylic acid pads and benzoyl peroxide and those have kept new breakouts away so now I'm just waiting for my skin to heal.
The salicylic acid I started using is the Stridex maximum strength pads. I've heard really mixed advice on these. I've heard they're effective, but I've also heard that the menthol in them is bad for your skin. I also have dry skin and I know that salicylic acid can be drying, but it seems to be what finally improved my acne. About a year ago I was using Paula's Choice 2% BHA and it worked so well for me until recently - it seemed to be irritating my chin acne more. It almost felt like when I have tried oils. Are there better salicylic acid options out there? Should I nix it and just use benzoyl peroxide?
My skin type is normal to dry - drier in the winter from the drier climate and heating. However my skin seems to hate oils - I tend to wake up with breakouts if I use them,, though oils in creams seem to be fine (my skin loved Drunk Elephant Lala Retro - which I intend to switch to once they update the packaging).
Here's a general idea of my skincare routine:
AM:
Cerave Moisturizing Cleanser
Stridex Maximum Strength Pads (recent addition)
Timeless Vitamin C serum
Cerave PM Moisturizer
PM:
Makeup Removing Wipe or Balm
Cerave Moisturizing Cleanser
Rotation of one of my AHA products: PTR 10% Glycolic Acid (new - very strong), Drunk Elephant Framboos, Pixi Glow Tonic (a new addition - very gentle), DDG Extra Strength Peel Pads, Sunday Riley Good Genes. I tend to stick to one for a few weeks then switch
Curology Retin-A, Vitamin C, Niacinimide mix (sometimes every other night, depending on how strong the AHA I'm using is)
FAB Ultra Repair Cream
@kso1225 @Anonymous
I could provide some product suggestions. These all have salicylic acid as well as other stuff.
Dr.Jart Micro milk peel (lactic and salicylic)
NIP+FAB Glycolic Extreme (glycolic and salicylic)
CosRX One step pimple pads (salicylic)
Dr.Jart would be my recommendation during winter because it has lactic acid and squalene - both being hydration boosters. Dr. Jart is quite nice, you won't be able to tell you are using acid at all. It is hydrating and gentle.
Cookies all day! @kso1225
I don't have any recs in salicylic acid but hopefully someone can chime in. How are you liking the Timeless?
@Anonymous I bought the Timeless thanks to your recommendation, also! Do you use it twice a day? Right now I've been putting it on at night and using up my OH Truth Serum in the mornings.
I only use it in the mornings since I use retinol products at night and you can't use both. I use it daily in the mornings right after my cleanse and wait 20 minutes before moving on in my routine. I'm excited to hear your opinions about it @JenniferOhJenny
