Acnetix

Hey y'all,

My first skin care item was Proactiv solution. Before the last few months of high school I have always had perfect, normal skin but all of a sudden I got these bumps on my chin that would not go away. At the time Proactiv was advertised on TV every other commercial and celebrities influenced me a lot, I didnt have many people in my life that I admired so I turned to celebrities and trusted what they had to say. I used the system as directed twice a day every day for 2 years. My face got worse and worse but I never put 2 and 2 together that Proactiv was messing up my face ( again, I thought that if a celebrity who can afford any skin care line is endorsing this product than it HAS to work....) I quit using it and spend the next couple of years trying to fix my face ( what was once a perfect complexion with just a few bumps now had red inflamed acne everywhere). I spend god knows how much time and money...I tried every kit, every item and nothing worked. Then I started researching skincare and ingredients and looking at what works and what doesnt and let me tell you guys...ingredients are everything. Most acne products are not formulated to treat your skin but make it worse so that you go and buy the product again and use it for forever. Then I somehow stumbled on Acnetix online and it has saved my skin. It's a natural scrub that is the size of my shampoo bottle that lasts forever, doesnt dry skin out and heals your skin. The smell took some getting used to but I would rather use something that works than use something that smells good and doesnt do anything. I used a small amount twice a day for 2 weeks and my skin healed almost completely and once I got my face back, I quit using the product and the acne didnt come back. ( When you use it dont use toner and moisturizer, just this product.) The only time I use it now is during the special time of the month or if I am trying out new skin care that hasnt been good to me. It really is a saver. I got tired of wasting money on products that dont work and finally find something that does. This story is for anyone out there with a similar experience who is still on the lookout for their holy grail acne item. This is it guys---trust me.

No its not a cream its a scrub so it cant be used as a spot treatment. You just wash your face with it for a minute twice daily.

Re: Acnetix

There are different types of acne.  People with  1 or 2 pimples, who usually do not get them, freak out and consider themselves having acne.  They then buy products such as Proactive which becomes reactive because all it does is dry the skin out making the sebeceous glands overcompensate for the lost oils.  It is unfortunate that companies like that market on people's insecurities when they should really educate about what type of acne it treats!

I am glad this works for you but after looking at the website it seems far from professional.  I am an ingredients kind of girl and although the Acnetix ingredients do sound tempting, I am curious on the order of them and concentration and what they have for the buffering agents?  Are those listed on the bottle by chance?

bazmeenk---it works for me. It did wonders for my skin, and its the only thing I've used that doesnt bring acne back once its gone. I would recommend at least trying it---its a lot more affordable than anything from Sephora at least. A little goes a LONG way, and the bottle itself is 13.5 oz! One bottle lasts me months, especially because once the acne is gone, I dont need to keep using it. I've been using it for years and havent even looked at any other acne system since I've found this. And the only time I use it now is if I break out from bad skincare or makeup.

Just because its a one step system that doesnt mean its not professional. I have tried everything out there and this was the only thing that worked on me. It has really good reviews and it actually rates as the 3rd best on bestacnetreatments.net. A lot of people that dont know about it think it doesnt work because its natural or because they have been conditioned to using 3 step systems. Walnut shell is the exfoliant, but they are very very fine granules, opposite of Ole Henriksens Walnut Complexion scrub ( which was way too harsh on my face). Here are the ingredients as listed on the bottle, from highest order of concentration to lowest.

Purified water, aloe vera, liquid glycerin soap, herbal extracts of white willow, chaparral, green tea, gotu kola, alfalfa and rosemary, walnut shell, msm, oat flour, redmond clay, witch hazel, flax meal, vegetable glycerin, jojoba oil, castile flake, avocado oil, allantoin, carbomer, preservative, xanthan, honey, tea tree oil, lavender oil, jasmine, camella oil, vitamin a, carrot seed oil, sweet orange oil, bergamot, juniper oil, green tea extract, vitamin e oil, natural color and fragrance.

It doesnt smell good but it has really worked wonders on me and I hope that someone out there will give it a try. Plus the smell goes away the minute you wash it off. Its 40 bucks a bottle, and it really is the size of my shampoo bottle (13.5 oz). It wont work if you use it with any other skincare (toner, moisturizer..) and if you wear makeup you have to cleanse beforehand. Its not a cleanser, just a acne treatment scrub.
