With my last few shipments I noticed that Sephora started using OnTrac for rouge free three day shipping. I don't like the OnTrac online tracking system because it doesn't list an estimated delivery date. So how am I supposed to know if my package is.... on track? If anyone has any advice on how to fix this, I would love to hear it.
I wish that there was a way to view your points history online - something that would show points accrued from purchases, points used or subtracted due to returns, bonus points for the specials where double points can be earned. I'm not sure about anyone else but I'm a little OCD when it comes to things like tracking my points and I have to know that my balance is accurate
Can someone please tell me how I can enter the number from my VIB/Beauty Insider card so that I can use the points earned in a store with my online order. Please. No one answers on the customer service board.
Is it possible for Sephora get a "Save for Later" option like Amazon? I know this tool would help a lot of people out significantly due to the fact that people put items in their carts just to see when the prices of their item go on sale, or who plan to buy it in the future and put it in their carts as references. The tool would help a lot because the buyer wouldn't need to empty their whole cart in order to buy specific items they need only during that time... This option would be similar to the LOVE tab, but you don't LOVE the item, you are just putting it there for future reference.
I am fortunate enough to live next to several Sephora locations so I can stop by to test out a product in person or ask for samples in stores. However, for people who shop online because they don't live near a Sephora or for homebodies like myself, wouldn't it be great if we could receive samples of almost anything on the website instead of the small selection of samples we are confined to? I think sometimes people who don't have access to a store or for items that are only sold online, offering samples or foundations and skin care online could help reduce the amount of returns. Even if it's for a small fee I think that would be reasonable. CRC lets you purchase small samples of various foundations online to test the color/finish. I highly doubt Sephora will start doing this -_- but does anyone else think this would be more convenient? Also, this might help avoid incidences when your samples or point perks are substituted with something you really don't want.
I love reading reviews on products, and find myself sorting by least favorable and starting there. I use Amazon like crack, and love the ability to see if someone is a verified buyer of a particular product. Now Ulta has the same thing (or maybe I just didn't notice it before)! I was reading a review for shampoo and noticed a 'verified buyer' symbol and I tend to find those reviews a little more credible. Especially with the explosion of shills for Tarte, I'd love to see that same thing implemented here. Sephora should take advantage of the BI program. They track what we buy online and in stores so they have the means to do it! So, come on, Sephora! Please find a way to identify a reviewer as a verified buyer of the product. I think all of us BIers will thank you.
I've read so many things of orders getting cancelled if you place too many orders in a day, or a week. So is there a limit of how many orders you can place within the same day or week? I've read other posts on people orders getting canceled but didn't see if there was really a limit or anything. Thanks for your help!
Does anyone else see the same exact things when they click the What's New link in makeup? When I follow the link I see the same exact page/items that I've seen for the last several weeks. The new UD Naked Basics 2 pallet isn't even on there.
I'm not sure if this counts as solicitation since I'm mentioning a website, so please delete if not allowed. But every once and a while I do some BSTing online and I end up with lots of money in my PayPal. Of course I want to spend it at Sephora. I like to...ummm...keep it secret from my husband and avoid transferring it into the bank account. I was always frustrated that I couldn't spend it directly at Sephora.com and I would end up gifting it to my sister, who would give me cash. But anyway, I just discovered the website Gyft, where you can use your PP balance to buy gift cards (electronic, I believe) to stores and Sephora is one of them! After some searching, I confirmed that they they are legit. I thought this would be helpful for those of you who like to use your PP balance to buy stuff. EDIT: juicytulip just pointed out "I do the same, although here on the Sephora site you can buy an egiftcard and check out with paypal. Cuts out the middle man! I usually send the gift card to myself--obviously." Thanks lady! I was totally unaware of this. So you don't even have to go to Gyft and create an account or anything, you can go through Sephora's site.
So I was surfing BT a little and I get a pop-up (at least I think it was a pop-up, maybe i accidentally clicked the button at the bottom lol) that says "Favourite thing about Sephora.com? What new feature should we add?" Here is my response. "Sephora treats their Canadian customers horribly. I understand that we have to pay taxes and now duties (geez thanks) - and that's fine. BUT, our minimum $ amount for free shipping is $75! Whilst our American counterparts' minimum is only $50. Also the markup on the products is ridiculous! I know that there is an exchange rate but I also know that it is NOT THAT MUCH! (and all the prices vary in markup, hence how i know that it's mainly markup and not just the exchange rate). Not to mention things like the fragrance sets. We don't get the voucher for the free purfume of our choice, but Americans do?! How the heck is that fair?!?! Basically, treat us Canadians better - or we'll just spend our money elsewhere, and Sephora - you will be become our last resort."
Do we have any solid information as to whether there will be special pricing when buying bundles of the new MUFE Artist Shadows? This is from Temptalia's recent post: "If you buy two or more shades, plus the duo compact, it’s $34 ($17/each), and if you purchase three shades with the trio palette, it’s $44 ($14.67/each). The boutique said they were charging $14.33/each after 3." This is no currently showing up, but she mentions in a reply to a comment that she was informed by MUFE that: " When I asked MUFE about the discount not showing, they followed up and said it would be effective August 1st." Is this accurate?
I wish that Sephora would make our 'love' lists more customizable. I am never able to send a wishlist for my birthday/holidays, because in addition to the things that I lust for, I also keep my staples on that list as well, that I replenish when I need to. I would be pretty disappointed receiving a tube of Porefessional for my birthday, when what I REALLY wanted was a set of glittery UD eyeliners. PLEASE, Sephora! Give us a more customizable list. I would love to have a 'shopping list' and a 'wish list' that I can keep separately from one another!
Hello, I am writing out of desperation so please do NOT disregard this and help if you can. So a bit more than 2 months ago I was searching for toners, toners for GLOWING SKIN! I did a lot lot lot of research to find a good one with a big number of positive reviews and a couple of days into my research I found this toner that was reviewed by the community on Sephore!! (THANK YOU GUYS AT SEPHORA AS ALWAYS!!). But here is the very sad part. I fantasized about having the product day in day out and even had a routine ready which I would follow when I finally had the product but 6 weeks down the track when I finally wanted to order the tonner I HAD FORGOTTEN ITS NAME. I tried rigorously to find the product for literally HOURS every night 2 weeks straight and had no luck what so ever. I hate my self for it and I will never be able to forgive my self if I don’t find it. That’s how much I need it and that’s how much it means to me. IF YOU LADIES WHO ARE READING THIS CAN HELP ME WITH THE NAME I WILL BE FOREVER INDEBTTED TO YOU aAND WILL LOVE YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART. So about the product, I do remember a couple of things. It was a WHITE bottle with a GOLDEN/YELLOWISH cap (has a really posh and expensive look to it!! All their products are like that white with golden caps). The BRAND NAME was the name of the CREATOR, the skin cosmetician himself, for example OLE HENRIKSEN (it’s the brand name and the name of the skin cosmetician who created it). The brand name was a EUROPEAN one…… It sounded more FRENCH if anything. It wasn’t one of the main stream ones we all know off like Loral Paris or Maybelline. The PRICE TAG was EXPENSIVE. Can’t really remember what it was but I think it was $100 and over. Probably the most important aspect I remember about the toner was the fact that it had OVER A THOUSAND REVIEWS and had a FOUR AND A HALF STARS rating. So it was reallllllyyyyy good Once again please help me! I know and clearly understand that it is not your job to find it for me but I have tried EVERYTHING and this is my last HOPE.
I've been on the verge of tears literally all day and I will admit that I may have cried a bit in the bathroom at work today (thankfully I was already in a stall) because...my boyfriend of 4 years and I broke up this past Sunday. It was something that I had been wanting to breach for a few months now and in the end, it was pretty mutual. Despite the fact that I wanted this, I'm still quite heart broken. I met this boy right before I turned 20 (I'm 25 as I write this) and one year later, we were dating. More than anything, I feel like I'm losing one of my best friends and that my dear BTers is the hardest part. So, for the love of all things beauty, I've decided this is an excellent excuse to place a nice big "breakup makeup" order. Thus far, I know I want: -A new blush like this one from Tarte: Shade: Blissful -Some Hum supplements Annndddd that's about all my heart broken self can come up with. So help me out BTers -- what else should I splurge on? xoxo
Did you guys know you can only use 2 gift cards online for any one order? So if you have $10 gift cards from viggle or shopkick, you essentially can't use them to place an entire order. I'm really angry about this because the CS rep told me to just go to the store. I shouldn't have to spend money on gas to use my gift cards, not to mention the store never has point perks in stock, never offers samples, and I'll miss out on using promo codes. Apparently it's to cut down on fraud. What makes a low value gift card more fraudulent than a high value one? Anyway, I thought I'd share this really awful Sephora policy. I'm a tad mad. Just a tad. As in not shopping at Sephora anymore kind of mad. That probably sounds ridiculous, but gift cards are a huge method of payment for me, and this policy makes them worth less than cash, which isn't fair.
I get the feeling that 70% of the reviews on Sephora.com are fake-- posted by the product distrubutor. I always click on the user and see if they've reviewed other items or not.. I mean, almost every product has at least 4 stars total. That seems a little unlikely. It bothers me.... Luckily they have a great return policy so you can try things out yourself. Thoughts?
There was no return address and it has nothing with it so IDK who sent it to me! I do not want it, it is an expensive shower head that I see Sephora only sells online. Can I return this to a store and get a merchandise credit? I don't see anywhere else that sells this item.
http://www.sephora.com/yourmask?icid2=bd_yourmask_ us_large_062314_image So I'm sure everyone has noticed, there is a new promo with some AMAZING masks up for grabs! I highly suggest you guys snag this deal before it's out of stock quick! I just got the GlamGlow Clearing Treatment (deluxe) which is 0.3 oz... a 0.5 oz would be considered $19! What a deal! I was debating over getting the Glam or the Shiseido Eye Treatment to see how well it works.. has anyone tried any of the current gifts offered right now? I'm really curious in your experience with the Shiseido Eye treatment the Peter Thomas Cucumber Mask and the Ren Renewal mask!
