Ok BT, what did you find today? Edit 10-2, feel free to post if you find something from your favorite brand. Link to the item, price, and brief description so that folks can at a glance decide if they want to clickie to Love or Buy. ^-^ As an FYI, here are the 26 pages I'm trolling for what was newly added today . Usually pretty easy to do because the newest items have 20 loves or less and no reviews. In general I will check in the morning and late afternoon and post what I find. Acqua di Parma, Ardency Inn, Antasasia, Atelier Cologne, BareMinerals, Bite Beauty, Chloe, Elizabeth and James, Josie Maran, Jurlique, L'Occitane, Lavanilla, Marc Jacobs Makeup, Marc Jacobs Perfume, Marula, NEST, Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics, Sephora Collection, Sephora Favorites, Smashbox, Tarte, Tata Harper, Thierry Mugler, Tocca, TokyoMilk Dark, Too Faced, Urban Decay, Victor & Rolf
I really love how shopping at Sephora can be a totally self service yet customized experience with the custom samples, Skin IQ and the Pantone color matching. I remember there used to be a feature on the sephora website where you could do advanced searches for fragrances by notes, like woodsy or floral (I think it was fragrance finder). Now that they have the fragrance IQ quiz in stores I think it would be great if they made the same quiz available online! It would be so enabling for me!
I somehow got on sephora's Canadian site! I have been trying for two hours to switch back to the USA site! Oh, I've hit the little flag several times even tho it shows USA. AND I cleared the cache. PLEASE HELP ME FIGURE THIS OUT BEFORE I LOSE MY MIND!
I've accumulated quite a few favorites I want to keep track of. Would love to have more features, such as ability to group favorites (skincare, lipstick, foundation, etc.) Would be extra fabulous to be able to make some notes ... Does anyone else think so?
Order was cancelled for unsuccessful authorization...From searching the boards, I think it was because of quantity limits, which makes sense, so I can stop trying to reorder the same pallets! However, there was a 250 point perk that I ordered that I also did not receive since the order was cancelled. Can you please credit the points back to my account? Thanks!
Hi all- I was just wondering if bt is in a bad mood or just being mean to me personally today. One post I tried to edit and it wouldn't even give me the "Edit" option in the list of things you should be able to do. Another post showed me the 'Edit' button and allowed me to alter my post, but then it wouldn't allow me to 'save' it - it just let me use the 'cancel' option which is next to 'save'. The 'save' button was it's usual rouge color. Any thoughts? Anyone else having issues? Or is it just me? Thanks in advance.
Hi fellow Canadians, I know many of us were really upset when we were no more able to shop at sephora through ebates canada. Here is the good news, we can shop Sephora again through ebates canada. Cheers
Hi! is there a way to list all the products (makeup, skincare, etc) in just one place? like one time when I managed to do so and order the items from low to high price and discovered the sephora wash caps. Don't get me wrong, I like how organized is everything in the menus but I'd like a way to list and see everything
With my last few shipments I noticed that Sephora started using OnTrac for rouge free three day shipping. I don't like the OnTrac online tracking system because it doesn't list an estimated delivery date. So how am I supposed to know if my package is.... on track? If anyone has any advice on how to fix this, I would love to hear it.
I'm not sure if anyone else has posted this but I was absolutely thrilled when I clicked on the points/status link and saw that Sephora has finally updated their system so Canadians can see our spending history/how close we are to VIB/Rouge. Thank you Sephora!
This came across my mind when I was looking at my "Free Shipping" promo code but was debating to use that or get a sample. I'm sure most people would rather choose a sample over free standard shipping any day. Which made me think, what if there was a day that allowed buyers to add TWO Promotional Codes! I know a lot of people would appreciate this and sales would most likely sky rocket because no other site has done this before. Whether it's a certain day, or if you spend $75 or more in order to get 2 Promo codes, I think it's a good idea! Just throwing it out there, do you guys see any flaws? And do you think Sephora HQ would consider it?
I wish that there was a way to view your points history online - something that would show points accrued from purchases, points used or subtracted due to returns, bonus points for the specials where double points can be earned. I'm not sure about anyone else but I'm a little OCD when it comes to things like tracking my points and I have to know that my balance is accurate
Can someone please tell me how I can enter the number from my VIB/Beauty Insider card so that I can use the points earned in a store with my online order. Please. No one answers on the customer service board.
Is it possible for Sephora get a "Save for Later" option like Amazon? I know this tool would help a lot of people out significantly due to the fact that people put items in their carts just to see when the prices of their item go on sale, or who plan to buy it in the future and put it in their carts as references. The tool would help a lot because the buyer wouldn't need to empty their whole cart in order to buy specific items they need only during that time... This option would be similar to the LOVE tab, but you don't LOVE the item, you are just putting it there for future reference.
I am fortunate enough to live next to several Sephora locations so I can stop by to test out a product in person or ask for samples in stores. However, for people who shop online because they don't live near a Sephora or for homebodies like myself, wouldn't it be great if we could receive samples of almost anything on the website instead of the small selection of samples we are confined to? I think sometimes people who don't have access to a store or for items that are only sold online, offering samples or foundations and skin care online could help reduce the amount of returns. Even if it's for a small fee I think that would be reasonable. CRC lets you purchase small samples of various foundations online to test the color/finish. I highly doubt Sephora will start doing this -_- but does anyone else think this would be more convenient? Also, this might help avoid incidences when your samples or point perks are substituted with something you really don't want.
I love reading reviews on products, and find myself sorting by least favorable and starting there. I use Amazon like crack, and love the ability to see if someone is a verified buyer of a particular product. Now Ulta has the same thing (or maybe I just didn't notice it before)! I was reading a review for shampoo and noticed a 'verified buyer' symbol and I tend to find those reviews a little more credible. Especially with the explosion of shills for Tarte, I'd love to see that same thing implemented here. Sephora should take advantage of the BI program. They track what we buy online and in stores so they have the means to do it! So, come on, Sephora! Please find a way to identify a reviewer as a verified buyer of the product. I think all of us BIers will thank you.
I've read so many things of orders getting cancelled if you place too many orders in a day, or a week. So is there a limit of how many orders you can place within the same day or week? I've read other posts on people orders getting canceled but didn't see if there was really a limit or anything. Thanks for your help!
Does anyone else see the same exact things when they click the What's New link in makeup? When I follow the link I see the same exact page/items that I've seen for the last several weeks. The new UD Naked Basics 2 pallet isn't even on there.
I'm not sure if this counts as solicitation since I'm mentioning a website, so please delete if not allowed. But every once and a while I do some BSTing online and I end up with lots of money in my PayPal. Of course I want to spend it at Sephora. I like to...ummm...keep it secret from my husband and avoid transferring it into the bank account. I was always frustrated that I couldn't spend it directly at Sephora.com and I would end up gifting it to my sister, who would give me cash. But anyway, I just discovered the website Gyft, where you can use your PP balance to buy gift cards (electronic, I believe) to stores and Sephora is one of them! After some searching, I confirmed that they they are legit. I thought this would be helpful for those of you who like to use your PP balance to buy stuff. EDIT: juicytulip just pointed out "I do the same, although here on the Sephora site you can buy an egiftcard and check out with paypal. Cuts out the middle man! I usually send the gift card to myself--obviously." Thanks lady! I was totally unaware of this. So you don't even have to go to Gyft and create an account or anything, you can go through Sephora's site.
So I was surfing BT a little and I get a pop-up (at least I think it was a pop-up, maybe i accidentally clicked the button at the bottom lol) that says "Favourite thing about Sephora.com? What new feature should we add?" Here is my response. "Sephora treats their Canadian customers horribly. I understand that we have to pay taxes and now duties (geez thanks) - and that's fine. BUT, our minimum $ amount for free shipping is $75! Whilst our American counterparts' minimum is only $50. Also the markup on the products is ridiculous! I know that there is an exchange rate but I also know that it is NOT THAT MUCH! (and all the prices vary in markup, hence how i know that it's mainly markup and not just the exchange rate). Not to mention things like the fragrance sets. We don't get the voucher for the free purfume of our choice, but Americans do?! How the heck is that fair?!?! Basically, treat us Canadians better - or we'll just spend our money elsewhere, and Sephora - you will be become our last resort."
