Whenever I've tried to visit the Sephora website in the past 2 days, the only function that works is BeautyTalk. I cannot access any product pages or the sale section. When I try to do so, the site hangs forever. Are there any known issues with the site right now?
I was really excited to try the Yves Saint Laurent Top Secrets All-In-One BB Cream Skintone Corrector b/c they don't sell it in my store so I added it to my samples. When my package arrived I ended up with the shade Medium. I place a lot of orders so I assumed I had made a mistake and kind of ignored it. I placed a couple of orders a week later and saw the Dark sample was in stock so I ordered two more. I get my packages and once again I get a sample of the Medium. I know it's stupid b/c they're not items I paid for, but I'm annoyed that I didn't get the advertised shade after three attempts. If the product wasn't in my shade I would have picked up another sample instead. One I could use. I was looking at the samples today and I see the BB Cream in Dark is back. Just torturing me. Did this happen to anyone else?
Hi, I'm wondering how to link my VIB card to my online account. I've created online account quite a long ago, and also had a beauty insider card without linking them each other. At some point, VIB card was mailed to me. Could you help me link these two to my online account? thanks!
I've being trying to buy the illamasqua blushes in the color Katie and Tremble for a while now but they are always out of stock. Today I went into Sephora to see if they were finally back in stock but now they are not even there anymore. Does anyone know if the colors have been discontinued? Or is Sephora going to stop carrying illamasqua products?
I was wondering what conditions will Sephora permanently remove a product from its website? Usually, the item(s) just show up as OOS and I can opt to email in when the item is back in stock. However, I don't believe the particular item I'm referring to was ever OOS to begin with? One day, it just disappeared from my loves list and the website. Specifically, I am talking about the Murad Exfoliating Acne Treatment Gel. Thanks!
Hey all! Have any of you (specifically Canadians) ever cashed in swagbucks earnings at a Sephora store? I am a student of a budget wanting to use earnings for a little mid-semester treat, but I've not used them before.
DISCLAIMER: SEPHORA DOES NOT HAVE HAVE A "LIVE CHAT" FEATURE. It just dawned on me to wonder why Sephora doesn't have Live Chat for Customer Service and product/shade recommendations? Bobbi Brown does. MAC does. Why behind the times Sephora?
I see a lot of complaining on here about people being frustrated with Sephora lately. I have been frustrated myself. I do not see much praise lately. I have recently been a victim of the five day processing for "free Rouge shipping". I placed two orders recently and guess what? Both shipped NEXT DAY!!!! I am starting to think that they are listening. So I am here to say thanks Sephora for your speedy service and taking care of me.
I am having to log back into the forums with almost every visit. This is quite different from several months ago, it seems like it's getting worse over time. Even if my browser is still active but I've visited other sites and come back, I have to log back in again. Anyone else notice this? I also experienced the forum gremlins last night where everything was like a website dogpile, with several screens all appearing overlaying others. Hasn't happened this morning yet, fingers crossed. May I also respectfully request some consideration be given to putting "Off Topic" back on the main feed, instead of buried in a hidden area? I am not totally sure of the reasons for moving it, but it has really removed the special character of these forums off the front pages and makes it difficult to find the fun stuff mixed in with the awesome beauty advice which is what I LOVE about BT and keeps me visiting! I have been on a bit since the change and have tried to adapt but it is not something I think that is working so well from my personal viewpoint (but would also love to hear what others have to say!) Thanks for listening!
I get the feeling that 70% of the reviews on Sephora.com are fake-- posted by the product distrubutor. I always click on the user and see if they've reviewed other items or not.. I mean, almost every product has at least 4 stars total. That seems a little unlikely. It bothers me.... Luckily they have a great return policy so you can try things out yourself. Thoughts?
It used to be that we could enter $5, $10, etc.. into the search bar on Sephora's site and any product at that price point (or 1 or 2 dollars within) would come up. That was extremely convenient when trying to reach a $ amount for certain promotions or free shipping. When did this go away? Please bring it back!
Since the web monkeys are all up in the place making changes this week how about some new functionality on the retail site instead of wasting time on the forums? I would LOVE to be able to go to a product page and see a notice across the top like at amazon dot come that says "you purchased this product on January 15th 2014". Or how about not deleting product pages or making them disappear when something is out of stock? We can't even read or leave reviews for a product then. It's so random which product pages disappear and which don't. It's beyond annoying. How about improving the 'loves list' section so that we can categorize and set priorities or even make notes for ourselves? You guys obviously have all this time on your hands (the programmers not the mods) to waste on the forums which according to statistics is only 3% of your website traffic. How about doing some real work and making the site work better for purchasers?
Is the Survey Sweepstakes contest legit? The list of winners at http://www.medallia.com/sweepstakes/sephora-winner s/ has the same person listed as winning 3 times. I know lots of people fill it out every time they buy anything, myself included, but according to the rules you can only enter once per week so it seems reeeeallly suspicious that the same person won three separate times!
Ever since they re-did the site, now whenever you click on the "Advice" tab we get to look at the fresh faced smile of that fair skinned blonde chick. Is everyone else ever like, WHO ARE YOU, BLONDE GIRL? I think I'd like it better if they mixed it up with different ethnicities/skin types-- more representative as us as a community. But for now, WHO ARE YOU, BLONDE GIRL?
Does anyone have trouble replying to existing threads? When I went to reply today, I don't have a Reply button. Pictures of people on line and the "Drag photos/file" boxes block where the reply button would be. see photo below:
...reminding you of the products waiting in your Sephora cart? I've never gotten one like this from Sephora before, it's like they are going to punish me for always having something in my cart and give me the little push I need to click "checkout"!
I recently placed an order online on Sephora's website on Sunday (Feb. 2) and my order still hasn't shipped. The status still shows up as sent to warehouse :/ is this normal? How long will it take for my order to ship out? Thanks in advance
I wish that Sephora would make our 'love' lists more customizable. I am never able to send a wishlist for my birthday/holidays, because in addition to the things that I lust for, I also keep my staples on that list as well, that I replenish when I need to. I would be pretty disappointed receiving a tube of Porefessional for my birthday, when what I REALLY wanted was a set of glittery UD eyeliners. PLEASE, Sephora! Give us a more customizable list. I would love to have a 'shopping list' and a 'wish list' that I can keep separately from one another!
Although I'm a VIB Rouge, I feel I'm probably speaking for many shoppers of Sephora with this post. Currently, 9 of the 12 free samples with orders is a fragrance sample. Please, Sephora, please stop making so many of our choices limited to 1 product category. I'm being really blunt when I say "It's overpowering." Thank you.
Every time I do something on Sephora I always think of how it could be better. I was in the SALE section of sephora.com and I clicked on a item I was interested in and it said sorry this item is out of stock. I wish they would delete it from the sale section or put a red X on it. Does this happens to anyone else or is it just me?
Sephora, you have an chance to increase sales and personalize content. It makes me grumpy every time I see the picks list because you don't change it, I can't change it and it just sits there, completely missing the mark. My product picks have remained unchanged for months now. Which is vaguely irritating but, more so, a missed opportunity for you. I feel like you don't even know me. Why? Well, I hate bareMinerals. I mean, I really do. It doesn't work with my skin and makes me look like I've got paint running down my face. Let's take that further and note that their lightest palette is still a few shades darker than my actual color. What if I've tried the other products already? What if I own the other products? (I actually do have the JM argan oil.) There are plenty of sites that make suggestions, and allow for feedback. I'd love if there was a 'Not for Me' and/or 'Already Loved' buttons. If I could flag items as nixed/loved, you could make other suggestions that I might actually take. You could also look at my buying history or love lists and extrapolate from there, making suggestions that are in line with what I adore. Like if most of my cosmetic/skincare loves are paraben-free, suggest items from other brands that are also paraben-free. I could go on, but you get the point. Sephora, please find a way to make this work for us! You'll only be helping yourself when you do!
