Sephora Canada Site Product Update Thread

Hello Canadian BTers!

I'm starting this new thread to act as the official update location of new launches, LE products, and brands that are on coming to the US site but may be launching (and returning) to Sephora's Canadian site at a different time. There are a lot of changes happening in real time over here, and in the spirit of communication, this thread is to keep our BTers abreast of the information we have. This is not going to be everything, and could also be subject to change (and hopefully we won't need this thread forever), but we are working with the Canadian team to get as much information for you as we can.

That being said, we will only be using this thread to speak to dates and info about big upcoming launches, LE products, and brands that are on the US site and are coming to the Sephora.ca site. If you have a question about any of these things, drop it here, and we will do our best to track down the answer for you.

I realize that you guys are feeling all of the feelings right now about the new warehouse move, but this thread is not a venting loop, nor is it a thread to deal with customer service issues (as I don't have any access to our order systems). We've got quite a few of those on the community already (for totes good reason), but I'd like to keep this specific thread informational, if possible.

New Launches / LE products

Kat Von D 5th Anniversary Tattoo liner - July 9 (will post time when I have it) Early am PT, around 9 am.

Urban Decay Naked Smokey Palette - Will launch at the same time as the US site, July 12

Bite Limited Edition Lip Lab 007 - July 15 at 9 am PT

• Bite Maple Collection - July 16 at 9 am PT - This is a different date then the brand gave on their Instagram, so FYI!!
• Too Faced Sugar Pop Palette - End of July, around 7/27
• KVD New Liquid Lipsticks - Potentially same date as US (July 14), but could be a day or two later. Will have more info the week of the 13th.  These will be available by this Thursday 7/16 as well as some of the new Metal Crush eyeshadows. 

• JEM (I know, I'm waiting with baited breath for this one too) - Tracking this one down after a special request from fellow Jem lover veronika23. The team is on it.

KVD

• Studded Lip - 6 of the shades should go live at the same time as the US (around August 11), but 3 of the shades will go live later in August (Halo, Mercy, Solo) 
• Metal Crush Eyeshadows - confirming

Hey all! I have an update on a few products for you 🙂

• Shiseido Synchro Skin Lasting Liquid Foundation is currently not available in Canada but will be available in the near future on .CA. Timing isn't set in stone but I'll share details as they surface!
• Farmacy Skin Dew Hydrating Essence Mist & Setting is set to launch by the end of May, if not sooner!
• Pat McGrath is not coming to .CA at this time
• tarte Rainforest of the Sea™ Make A Splash Hydrating Skin Savers will return to .CA and I'll share timing once available
• tarte Rainforest of the Sea™ Quench & Drench Lip Set will not come to .CA
• Viseart Dark mattes Eyeshadow Palette should be up in about two weeks
• I'm waiting to hear back on Unicorn Tears!

Why is Pat McGrath not coming to Canada?  Why are we always excluded from some of the hottest items on the market?

Tarte make a splash skin savers was on .ca?  If so please stop telling your clients to sign up for email notification it does not work! I've checked daily and signed up for emails as soon as the product was up on the site. I never saw it in stock. Never got an email.

Yeah, I agree @veronika23. I've checked every day since it popped up on the US site even (the Tarte skin savers) and we never had it in stock in Canada. So that's not accurate that it "will be returning"

I too am fed up of signing up for email alerts and watching a product go from "Coming Soon" to "Out of Stock" to then "Not available in Canada"

I stalk the site multiple times a day when it's something I really want to get, so it's not like I missed it.

@fatimamummy she announced on IG yesterday that this particular product would come to 'select' Sephoras.  

I asked on IG if that meant Canada but received no response.

Why is there no gift packing option? There used to be a box and that was taken away and now the pouch is unavailable too.

I believed they change the interface.  Look under Shipping option,  and click on edit.  You should see gift option

Yes, you're right. It's hidden.

I didn't click on shipping options because it already said free and I didn't want to change that… but there it is -- gift option, which we have to click on to see what it is.

Who designs these web sites?  It was better before.

I keep hoping for the boxes to come back, though.

I second that! That and the lip duo hadve been listed on the Canadian site for weeks, never came in stock, and now the lip set says not available in Canada...
