Coupon codes should be considered different from promo codes

It's ridiculous that we can't use our coupon codes as well as a promo code on Sephora's website. They should consider a coupon separate from a free promo item otherwise you have to choose between a discount or a promotional item (which may entice me enough to buy the full item if it's a deluxe sample). Ridiculous. I can't imagine I'm the only one upset by this...

I think thats what will end up happening for me. But I just wont order anything at all in the end out of frustration.

I was so close to doing that, too. I ended up buying my stuff anyways since I have Rouge free shipping and wanted the discount. :-/

No kidding. I'm not asking for unlimited promos, but being able to get one promo and one discount isn't asking much.

Even if they just made an exception for chic week. I would feel better about it.

I agree, particularly for Rouge and VIB.

Agreed. It's incredibly annoying. For the amount of money most of us spend at Sephora, we shouldn't have to choose from getting 15% off or that adorable deluxe perfume sample. Get it together, Sephora.

This is something that has already been brought to Sephora's attention, but no one knows if it will change.

I just ordered some items from ULTA instead of Sephora, since I was able to use a 20% off coupon and still receive GWPs. :smileyhappy:
