We love discounts too! But, let's get creative: What other new benefits would you like to see from Sephora’s Beauty Insider program?

I would love to see 20% off discounf vs. 15%!!! more of cash back per points spent!!! (something similar to Ulta's). Better perks, free shipping for VIB's. Better samples!

Out of curiosity, has anyone seen their suggestion used yet? 

I agree with everyone who suggested 2 promo codes per order for VIBs.  I think that VIBs would appreciate feeling like we get something extra that not everyone else gets.  

Also, what about something like Ulta's 21 days of beauty event? Those are usually great deals on popular products.  

I think that 2 of the main problems with the current program that sephora should work on are: 

1) Other beauty retailers tend to have more appealing offers (substantial gift with purchase kits, more sales/discounts, multiple promo codes per order, etc.) 

2) They rarely make VIBs feel any more special than BIs...so what is the incentive to spend our money here rather than other retailers?

I think the 250 pt perk was a suggestion from a while ago that Sephora just recently added. 

I agree. I spend a lot of money at sephora, when I could easily go to a Department store that includes full sized products for gifts with purchase. & the VIB event today was such a let down.

I agree with you the samples we get should either be deluxe or full size for VIBs. I spend a lot of money I would like it to actually be worth it because I could get my stuff at other stores. The gift bags at other stores have full sized products and have a lower minimum purchase.

Better 500 dollar perks considering the past ones values have had products that you can purchase for 30 dollars I did not spend 500-1000 dollars to get a "perk" that worth less than that

Free shipping.  At DSW, I know not make up, they have free next day shipping once you reach their version of VIP status.  Points should be able to be converted to gift certificates (also a DSW thing). Increase percent off on discounts say 20%???  More options for 250 and 500 redemption items.  I keep banking mine because the same item is offered for so long before something new comes out.  Different bday gift options.  Order online to pick up in store.  More 45 minute consultations available.  Perhaps be able to use banked points to redeem for consultation.

I could not agree more with several others regarding giving more than a VIB membership status to those who spend $1000 or more per year.  They also need to be called something in addition to just being called a VIB.  They should be able to use more than one promo code, get an even better birthday gift and also get an even larger discount when Sephora runs their discount events.

I think the 2 Promo code spots for VIB's or free shipping on orders of say ''$25'' would be great. Just something that is given to us instead of to everyone, because allmost everything I see is given to everyone, and I don't feel being a VIB is special.

How about a printed tutorial card...say maybe every other month? I know you can find makeup how to's and tips in the tv section or youtube but how many of you can actually apply your makeup while watching your computer? (I tried and I kept on stopping, playing, pausing then rewinding back to a few seconds earlier...I looked really silly). Having printed how to cards is a nice BT freebie...(maybe a bronze smokey eye or cat eye with red lips,  bronzer application, nail arts or hairstyle! ).

I also think a VIB Birthday Gift would nice as well as other perks that BI insiders don't get, not just the same discount but on a different day. I also think getting noticiations about what point perks are coming what be a great idea as well. Many of us wait to place our order so we can get certain 100 or 500 point perks. I also love the idea of better perks being given, higher value perks. Remember the exclusive Kat Von D 500 perk palette or the Too Faced palette. I also love the idea of two promo code slots for VIBS. Spending $350.00 a year is no small feet. We could shop anywhere. Allow us to use coupons like Ulta. Create a better reward system. Like others have suggested, make a punch card, etc.

The VIB birthday gift used to be sooo much better. A couple years ago I recieved a 20% off card AND a full sized Philosophy Purity.

I think the points program is almost negligible as a "bonus". Other places have way better programs. For example I get actual in store credit. For example, If I spend $50 I'll get a $10 giftcard. Or if I build up points I can redeem them for product, it approximately equals $100 free product for $500 spent. 

That basically equals 20% back. You cannot tell me Sephora's 100 point perks are worth $20, or the $500 point perk are worth $100. Now with my local drug stores selling highend brands (some Sephora has), I tend to go there to take advantage of their programs.

Even at department stores, the bonus gifts from the beauty counters are way better that what I get at Sephora. For spending $50 (min. was $35) on Lancome I get a gift the a makeup bag, lipstick (full size) , mini eyeshadow quad, anti-aging cream and visionaire corrector. The exact same size of the vissionaire corrector was available as a 100 point perk at Sephora. 

While I do like Sephora, the beauty insider program is definitely NOT a motivator to shop there.

I agree! I think this is perfectly resonable, since when I shop at other places I can spend half that amount for $100 in free product!

The ability to put multiple codes in at checkout. For example, combine the discount code with a free VIB deluxe sample promo code.

More events without such a high cost to attend. Actually have all stores participate in the larger events like Bumble & Bumble. Larger point perks, and better 500 point perks. Free shipping. Offer the "online" deluxe samples for VIBs in local stores and not just online. (This is the main reason I look at colors in stores and then go home to buy online)

Companies like Nordstrom have now implemented a points system with 100 and 500 point rewards (and always have free shipping on any order). So if the same product is offered at multiple stores, we need a reason to purchase it at Sephora.

I would like to see a "Platinum VIB" program for those of us who spend over $1000/yr at Sephora, which would include perks like special discounts, always free shipping (say over $25) and even better sample perks--maybe even being able to get more than one perk at a time on internet orders.

Ya I agree.

The differences between the VIB and Beauty Insider program are almost negligeable. But VIBs are VIBs because instead of shopping at Ulta, Amazon, drugstores, etcetera, they decide to shop at Sephora. So some brand loyalty incentives for spending hundreds of dollars a year at the same store would be lovely. Please don't take us for granted! Anyone can be a Beauty Insider, but not everyone spends min, $1 per day at Sephora (god, it sounds terrible when I put it like that...)

Gifts with Purchase(on occasion)!
More discount events that don't require a code.
Perhaps the addition of a second code per purchase.
Ship-to-store option.
That's all off of the top of my head, I know most of it includes getting swag, but, who doesn't like swag?!
