Fragrance Inspirations: What makes you want to try a new fragrance?

A goog fragrance transports me to a happier, more beautiful place or time. It creates a vision in my mind. The perfect scent is like an old song you hear on the radio that instantly takes you to a special time in your past.

Depends what it smells like! I wish perfume boxes had a description on the back like they do at Bath and Body Works! Second would be if I know the brand and if it has a cute bottle or name.

Changing weather always makes me reach for a different scent. In crisp fall or winter air, I crave perfume with vanilla or spice, such as Hypnotic Poison by Dior. When spring and summer roll around, I change it up quite a bit. Marc Jacobs Daisy and j'adore Dior always remind me of sunny weather.

When my guy stops complementing on my smell. Time to mix it up! This happens every other month.

If the fragrance is from my favorite celebritys (like JB) if they are creativly named and the packaging is cool. Or if one of my favorite beauty gurus or people I watch on Youtube like them.

SAMPLES!!! I won't buy a scent without wearing it a number of times. It's easiest if I get a sample for at home.

When the season changes... And/Or when I finish the bottle of perfume I have been wearing and want to experiment with something different.

Usually after a breakup, when I'm craving something new. Or when I walk past an amazing smell on someone else that reminds me of something familiar.

If I happen to smell a new fragrance in the store that appeals to me, I normally always buy it. I always love new seasonal lineups as well!

What inspires me to try a new fragrence is trying a new trend as well. Because it is just as easy to try wide-leg jeans as it it is to try a new floral scent. Changing your look and scent altogether is both refreshing and a fun way to spruce up your look and give you confidence.
