When the way it's advertised explains what the scent is like. So if it is a pleasant and cherry like scent there is a group of people playing around in a cherry world with smiling faces and such. All about the advertising!

a lunch or dinner date....or when I'm in the doldrums a new fragrance pulls me out like a fragrant smell of a rose in the garden!

The Bottle. If the bottle is attractive for any reason, then it will catch my eye and I will be inclined to test it. I will be even more inclined to buy the product if it smells good to me.

When I read about the launch of a new fragrance,  I am sometimes intrigued enough by the description to want to check it out for myself.

Sometimes advertising really sells me on a fragrance! When I first saw the ad for Acqua di Gio by Giorgio Armani I knew I had to try the perfume. The model was of course absolutely stunning and so was the set of the ad. I went to the store right after seeing the ad and absolutely loved! the perfume. It is one of the only ones I wear now. Other then that I ususally try whatever bottle I like most, but sometimes the bottle can be misleading because the bottle looks great and the smell is terrible! I tried Escada's Marine Groove because the bottle was a vibrant purple and stood out compared to a lot of the other perfumes at a Sephora store. I also buy that one all the time because it smells amazing! Recommendations are also a plus to making me try perfumes - so to anyone reading I recommend the two I just mentioned!

sfisherx---I love Escada Marine groove as well! Try the Escada Taj Sunset too, its perfect for summer and smells amazing! Also try Michael Kors Palm Beach...I'm completely lusting after this product but I have wayyy too many fragrances to even *think* about buying another bottle but its also another great smelling summer fragrance.
